tasosv yes i bought it its totally awesome at doesnt dissapoint. You wont get a better synth for the price. I also like it more then the Behringer MS 1
Very nice to meet you! Fun video. Thanks for sharing. This is my current favorite of my synths. So addictive! I leave mine on and warm, and use it every day. Such a wonderful device! Cheers :)
Having just bought one of these (was waiting for the Matrixbrute, but really I don't have the studio space) after many years a synth lover, I am blown away by this little unit! Sounds so lush and fat coming out my Rokits and sub....and the price!?!? Outstanding Arturia! 10/10 🕶.....oh and really decent demo mate. Kudos.
very kool, I purchased one of these se model (cause it came with gig bag), to add some effects to my music (guitarist, singer) sounds like I got the right product, question are you using as a stand alone or hooked up with another module? I also purchased the sequencer to add drum like effects.
hello please send me the connection diagram you used for patch cable: I think using a connector for multiple connections in the matrix but the video can not figure out how many and what they exit from each connector
hi! nice video. i have a question ... you can save the sounds that you make in the microbrute??? for example if i need to change sound to sound in a live performance ... or you have to move the knobs in the right position every time you want to change the sound.. thanks
+Simon teg hello mate, i plugged the microbrute into the behringer dr400 pedal then into the laptop and used Audacity to record to a wav file, from the pedal you need a 1/4" to 3.5mm stereo cable, for connecting the microbrute directly into a pc or laptop you need a 1/4" MONO, to dual mono 3.5mm plug cable this is the exact cable i used, hope this helps www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stereo-Mini-Jack-to-Mono-1-4-Jack-Lead-3-5mm-Mini-Ipod-Amp-Cable-Van-Damme-/151063136480?var=&hash=item232c1088e0:m:mgZsUDqGw-3SANF8qsEJ-KA
I know you said the sounds are all improvised and that you're experimenting, but the melodies you play are those improvised or did you learn them somewhere?
Synthematix Alright, considering it's so cheap on eBay I might as well save a bit longer. Thanks a bunch! BTW, you're Paul from the budget noise machines facebook group, right?
Does this sound better then its big brother the MatrixBrute? Perhaps because no ones put together a good sounding demo so far. By the way when is that monster coming out, if ever?
Loved the video. It's an awesome analog synth for its current price. You can make a lot of solid different sounds with it. If you have time check my microbrute videos.
Hi! What patch cables you use? I see that you linked two CV IN, can I do? On microbrute manual I read that I can link only from cv out to cv in...is it wrong?
You sound like you come from somewhere like Sheffield? You have a touch of Phil Oakey in your accent. I could be wrong because I'm not from there. Nice sounds and patterns.
I did not read all comments, but I am the only one that hears this bad sound quality? What is that bit/samplerate distorted sound that doesn't come from the synth?
hi.. I'm a beginner microbrute player, may I ask how can I leave the sequencer that way.. I can not do that.. I record then when I switch the knob to play.. it didnt play until I press a key.. pls help me..
I like the fact that this synth can reproduce a lot of sounds of the new wave and post punk era. And for the price a punk like me can also afford it 😄
Peter Griffin hey 🅱️eter
I want exactly the same thing ,synth punk and post punk sounds for my band.do you have any experience with this synth?
tasosv yes i bought it its totally awesome at doesnt dissapoint. You wont get a better synth for the price. I also like it more then the Behringer MS 1
@@MinimalWave1982i watch again and again reviews for entry level synths and always i return to microbrute, this is it .i m gonna buy it!thanks a lot
Pro trick : watch movies on kaldroStream. Been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
Love the bass/sequenced phrase at around 13:20-14:40, sounds quality, especially when you pull it back on the mod wheel, good stuff fella
cheers m8 its fun
Thing is micro i havent even scratched the surface yet, with so many modulation possibilities its fantastic.

Superb opening bass
Finally micrbrute video, thats pretty much about the bass!!
+LLOYD POPP yea thats it m8
Cliff Lothar, nice one!
I am bad at making sequences and that first sequence sounded really cool I would like to have that in my memory.
Excellent sounds
I really enjoyed the video...mad love from Detroit. .!!! I do have a question tho .???? how did you get the Microbrute ' sequencer to latch ??
HAZ MAT TALK BOX you do it from the microbrutes software mate, go to sequencer settings. cheers
You sound like Benedict Cumberbatch lmao I love u
Hehe thanks!
@@Synthematix
Yeah, your voice it's a little bite similar. 💕 Good video.
If youve ever watched an episode of knight-rider from 1983 that sound will be familiar at 15:04
one of the times you were turning knobs you looked like you pulled back because it was hot, laughed my butt off, that's funny
+Cody Owens lol
Will it have the same effect if i use the Mono splitter to connect multiple patches or the cable has to be the way you made it?
excellent, thank you !

No this synth is fully analog you cannot save sounds
@@Synthematix thought you did that in the beginning of the video .
rather a stupid question, but how do you record the microbrute? like, what kind of cable do you need?
What you first were playing is not the sequence?can you tell me the keys for that sequence?
7:22 sounds kinda like BB-8 )
I know you said the sounds are all improvised and that you're experimenting, but the melodies you play are those improvised or did you learn them somewhere?
Hello, yea just played them as i went along m8 yea
Great video
cane creek Thanks!
Awesome
Thanks m8.
how do make the sequencer work with out holding a key down with your finger? awesome video ,,,sounded like some nice pink floyd stuff...
Hello, what you need to do is go into the brutes windows software to enable it.
is it the same software as the mini brute ? and will windows 8.1 be enough for that software ?
Nice synth you got there! you think it's worth the money or should I save up for a microkorg?
Smoggy Williams the microkorg is better mate tbh, the microbrute becomes boring very quickly as its sounds are quite limited in comparison.
Synthematix Alright, considering it's so cheap on eBay I might as well save a bit longer. Thanks a bunch! BTW, you're Paul from the budget noise machines facebook group, right?

Hi! What patch cables you use?
I see that you linked two CV IN, can I do? On microbrute manual I read that I can link only from cv out to cv in...is it wrong?
I made my own 6 way cable, but i dont have this keyboard anymore.
I understand.

theres no harm done, with linking any of the patch sockets together

Justin Morgan hello i soldered them myself using mono jack plugs

How do you get it to record?
It has a built in sequencer and this is recorded directly into audacity
Can you possibly share the sequence, meaning the keys played. It’s an awesome sequence. Great video!! Congrats
