I haven't yet watched all of this but the Zoom R8? Wow! I've only been mainly using it as my external audio interface for my PC... heaps to learn, heaps to try... thanks Helmut ! Edit - just about finished a first pass listen - to anyone wondering, just click the damned PLAY button now and get into it :)
You´re welcome ;-) And I have never used it as a external adio interface, but it´s a great multieffect and production tool (except the just 2 audio inputs).
Cool stuff. i like it! I got my minibrute hooked up to a guitar amp. So no recording for me :( Still awseome machines. Infindebula was right. ( the 4th guy under my comment)
Fuckin' A dude ^_^ using guitar fx is a genius idea, i just watched a guy do essentially the same thing but worse and with a £450 Eventide Space. I'm gonna brush the dust off my zoom multifx i think.
This is great, I was looking for inspiration using these two machines and found it. One question, at about1:14 you flip the sequencer switch to play on the MB. What was it playing before that? And later when you juts have a few bass notes in the beginning of each 8 bars...are those the same sequences just filtered? Good stuff
Yeah! Live and with vid - just how I like it! I'm pretty impressed with your live performance - only Beats and the MicroBrute! You seem to have pretty good control over the MB, it's sequencer and the Beats. It's a great track! What video editor did you use?
Thank you very much! I´m glad you like my first try of a live performance! I used MAGIX Video deluxe 15 plus in combination with the Windows Movie Maker!
***** I figured you must have done the mod as that snare sounds much better than my volca beats. I'm going to have to attempt this mod after hearing this. Well done on all accounts!
This is a classic example: skill and inspiration trumps a room full of gear. This is a beautiful little jam, and you should be very proud.
Thank you for the kind words!
infindebula p
so excited to get my Microbrute on wednesday! epic jam, very inspiring. My volca beats is standing by.
*applause*
Seriously good. You do a lot with minimal resources, which is the kind of shit I love.
this is sick. this shows off the potential of this gear

I thought about that.. just put a mixer on the front-end of those inputs ;)
The Mighty Hellfish Yeah that´s right, thought about that too.

Thanks for the info!
Nice sound ! acid ?
How are you syncing the volca to the microbrute?
Great vid and sounds can you tell me how you connect your volca and microbrute?
Nice :) Have you modded the Beats' snare drum?
Thanks! Yes I have ;-)
Thanks for the reply. :) Was it easy to solder? I only ever soldered through-hole stuff and not SMD.
***** No, it was a pain in the ass :) Zudem ist irgendwie der Decay-Regler fürs Rauschen ausgestiegen. Kann ich also nur mit Vorsicht empfehlen ;)
