Not sure where to go at this point as support isnt giving any support. It is actually cheaper to buy the watch with the student discount versus using the early bird coupon. People think 3-4 days of battery life is outstanding for a smartwatch. I go 14 days with daily GPS tracking with my AMOLED Garmin FR 965. And the fitness tracking is more accurate.
Sure enough, let's talk abput the lower end models FR 165 and 265 then. About the same price and still AMOLED. 10+ days of battery on both of them. Have spotify, have other music apps. Does significantly better in accuracy of fitness measuring and GPS. Does show notifications, allow android users to show pictures sent to them via messages. Have Garmin Pay to pay in store almost everywhere. It does have Calender synced with phone. It does have weather app and very in-depth information around it. Does your smartwatch need to show bus/train schedules? No. Does it need to show tiny little pictures from your album on your phone? No. Does it need to allow you to play chess off of it? No. So, the Garmins have all the essentials and also much much better measuring. Even the top apps in store for Wear OS and WatchOS is just another fitness related app. So what apps is needed? Use the phone for apps, which the majority will do anyway even if it is possible with the watch. @@stef-stef
