:D
Excellent work sir, this one's going on my playlist :)
Thanks!
Great playing as always Piotr!
You make those tenths look easy🤧
Oh yeah from above you can't see how I'm contorting my hand to get them xD
I was just playing through this one for the first time in ages this afternoon
Yeah it's one of my favorites (and one of the few I can stumble through well enough to play it right xD)
@@PiotrBarcz PLaying it made me wonder what you do when the piece goes from c to E flat. Did you transpose that part or not?
@@dylan-kerry Nope, I just ignore that part completely.
@@PiotrBarcz That got a good laugh out of me.
@@dylan-kerry xD
Loved this! Very nice jazz music 🎶
Nice to see you play from a top view and to see how wide your hands can stretch those tenths!
Thanks!
Yeah the tenths are easy so long as they have a black key in them, otherwise I can't come down from the top o.O
Nice work Piotr, you've got the hands to nail those tenths...and you make good use of them
Thanks Rob!

@@PiotrBarcz Super! Już się cieszę na nasze spotkanie. Serdecznie pozdrawiam Ciebie i Twoją Rodzinę♥️
Great playing, but someone has to ask the real question.
Handful Of Keys, when?
It's coming up, can't remember when xD
Nice, how long did it take to learn that one?
Half an hour -after listening to it a thousand times over the course of like 5 years-
What kind of stuff do you think I should learn or practice to be able to play by ear like that?
@@TheRandomChannel-4884 I just listened to thousands of hours of jazz music and have a good ear I guess.
@@PiotrBarcz so was it just something you were born with?
@@TheRandomChannel-4884 I don't know, I've just been good at playing what I'm hearing.
Sounds great and looks great!.... but I've got a question and in no way want to offend. ..... Pushing your limits a little. Do i have your permission to ask? 😊
Fire away my friend! I'm way past taking offense on the internet anyhow, ask me anything ;)
@PiotrBarcz Nice! So you have very long and nimble fingers. When I watch you play from your new viewpoint of looking down at the piano, I can and do, really watch your hands. I've done the same with R. Belt... I wasn't "blessed" with long fingers lol. So here's my question. You do a lot of tenths and you've started doing a lot more scales. That's all awesome..... but, (and maybe I've just missed them), I'm wondering if you ever play a little more barrel house/ragtime kind of in the realm of a Johnny Maddox, Joe Fingers Car, Del Wood type playing? Nothing emphasizing tenths, but rather striking those keys with a little more power? Did that make sense? Not interested in another rendition of Maple Leaf.... that gets played way too much. But other songs? When you were doing your live streaming recently, it was enjoyable to see you not so edited and more relaxed. I liked that! 👍
@@SevenPlus65 I can do some of the rougher stuff, I just never quite liked it as much because it's kind of tiring to play (it's LOUD xD) but I can probably make some recordings of stuff like that. The Aeolian, as it stands right now, is perfect for it!
@@PiotrBarczYes!!! I like loud. .... not on everything, but sometimes. You've now got the piano that'll frame your talent even more with a few of those songs No pressure, but I might not just be your only subscriber who would appreciate that too! Play that Aeolian like you're the pianist for a 1920s dance party and the show is yours! 😁
@@SevenPlus65 I'll definitely give it a shot at some point ;) I've been playing at a golf club in Westport over the last month or so and I put my 1925 Sohmer grand in there, it sounds like a Steinway and it plays like one too :D
