Hi Glenn, absolutely loving your channel. Recently discovered you and have binged watched your videos ever since. You are by far the best Lake District vlogger we know. Your content is fabulous, love your humour and your knowledge of the areas is outstanding. Drone footage is awe-inspiring. Have done quite a number of the walks you’ve already covered, but we have many yet still to do. You have inspired us to get out there, so a big thank you from us! 🙏Newly subbed and a couple of beers bought. Keep the videos coming - they are fantastic, all the best Yvette and Mark

when ever i watch a vlog of yours, i am in awe. when they give a whole production team and tv coverage to a certain well known presenter who has an interest in the outdoors, and their work is pale in comparison to yours, it's staggering how good your work is. it is almost tangible, it's something else. can't give you enough credit, simply superb.

👋 Just re-watched this video and totally get why you want to concentrate more on the photography aspect. After all, it's what you do, part of your being. Be who you are and we will appreciate you all the more for that.
I originally came to your channel for the hiking and love of the Lakeland fells but also enjoy the photography side, without the endless "settings" and "must do" chat.
Now I'm waffling... What I think I'm trying to say is... Do as you feel, mix it up a bit, and enjoy it. Cheers fella.

Glenn, your honest and genuine style is so refreshing. So good to see someone who is not saying things that are contrived and cliched. As my dad used to say, "be yourself", and you'll attract the people you want to have around you. Take care and carry on doing what you're doing! Simon, Somerset.

I am having to spend a lot of time indoors at the moment and so am going through a few of your older videos. Can I humbly suggest something....don't change a thing. I have loved every single video. The content, editing, the way you chat and draw in your audience is as awe inspiring as your photographs. I really did enjoy this episode, seeing you in your element doing what you enjoy was wonderful. I seriously cannot fault anything, thank you for keeping me entertained!

I think you should vlog what makes you happy. You obviously have a real love for the Lakes and it shows. I think's what all your viewers can see. I follow for photography locations and Dad watches to reminisce over walks done when younger and he could do them. What keeps us both watching is you and how you present what you do. Fin(n?) is great too. One day you will have to tell us how she got that name. Keep up the good work. :-)

It's so nice to see you enthuse over your next potential view, waiting for the next break in the clouds. I was right there with you, willing those rays to fall. Just loved this photo video, it was you just being you. Thanks Glenn.👍⛅

My wife is ill and waiting for an operation so we both haven’t been able to get out to the mountains for 4 month now so we Loved this slower more chilled video with all the great shots of the light in the valley seeing it change Minuit by Minuit because that’s what we do when we are there, we just get stuck in one area waiting so see the light spill into the Valley’s 😊 thanks 🙏

Great video! Lovely place. I like the smaller fells easier on the knees! It was a shame about the light but I do love the contrast between the yellowy grass and the green! Stunningly beautiful and the herdies are so beautiful! 🍀

Hi Glenn, really enjoyed the vlog. Defo do more like this. Two strings to your bow! Stop apologising though! We watch because you do good stuff. I don’t think we watch expecting perfect vlog technique all the time. What is great is that we get a connection with you because you are natural and engaging and your love of the scenery transfers so positively. Just be you. I can now see photo opps for myself having seen how what looks like a terrible day can produce great pics!
Keep it up! Throw on the odd big hike, but again just share the scenery and stories of your own. Less about directions.
    Thanks for putting these up!
Perhaps some technical aspects to taking pics? How as well as why? Composition?

Hi Glenn, I’ve loved your Lake District vlogs and have also enjoyed countless days hiking in the Lakes myself. This weekend I ventured to the Howgills for the first time and walked up Cautley Spout and up to the Calf. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Howgills and it seems to have its own distinct geography, different to both the Lakes and the Dales. Anyway I’m sure you’ve been there many times, but just thought I’d mention it in case you were looking for fresh ideas for vlogs close to your neck of the woods.

I really enjoyed this vlog. Maybe incorporate the photograohy into the hiking vlogs, so "go this way, go this way and just round this corner is great little photo spot" etc but as for dedicated photo vlogs I'm all in for that. Majority of people won't be here for learning the fundamentals of photography. If they are anything like me, I'd be here just watch your reactive style to the light and compositions. Like I say I'm all in for the photo vlogs :)

Just got back from a fantastic week over in the Lakes and I already want to be back again so great to see your videos. I loved this one. As long as your up there showing us the views that’s what I’m here for. I did three hikes while there just straight up and back early in the morning for photos and back. Far too hot during the day last week for walking. Nothing wrong with an easy route for photos just keep the videos coming as I like new ideas. Very nice shots too as always.

Hi. Just like to say I watch your videos and enjoy both types, hike and photography. I am interested in both aspects as I hike and photograph where I've been. I would love to delve deeper into photography, and currently saving for my first proper camera.
I watch for tips and your style of photography, so thankyou.

    Remembering where I was born,
Pictures I in my mind can see
Of where I played and went to school.
I feel my heart has been torn out,
Has left homeward bound without me,
To rest relieved twixt crags and fells
And leave me in this foreign dell
To die - a homesick, heartless fool.

Really enjoyed this Glenn. It was great to see you enjoying your photography. The walking Vlogs are great too. Perhaps there is a happy balance to be found between the number of walking Vlogs verses photography Vlogs with the emphasis more on photography.

Love the new format Glenn. I could feel your excitement as the moody light crossed the fells, my wife caught me talking to the telly 🤣 The video was real, as it is , about the landscape rather teaching your granny to suck eggs, if you know what I mean ? Looking forward to more like this . 🍻

Really enjoy these photography vlogs as well as the regular hiking vlogs. But since photography is my main hobby/goal, and my fitness isn't the greatest to be able to attempt the bigger hikes. Typically aiming for single fells rather than 6hr hikes. These are great for me to be able to get an idea of what the views may be like, the difficulty of the hike and then have a go at them. So I for one would love it if you did more of these types of vlogs!
