12:09 brought back happy memories of 50yrs ago when my wife and I walked on Silver How with our two daughters. Age and condition dictate now that we can only watch from the comfort of home. Thank you.
We watched your video and did this walk yesterday. Know one of our favorite walks. We had fabulous weather and the views were brilliant. Thanks for the video and the tips you give . John
I watch your videos daily. I especially like to watch your videos before chemo shots to calm down and remind myself of my wonderful trips to the Lake District.
Wonderful to see you back out in the fells, in the absence of having our own trips in the Lakes your vlogs are keeping our Lakeland dreams alive. Your mountain chums.....⛰️📸👍
I am thoroughly enjoying watching your Lake District Videos. I completed my Wainwright in 2016 but don’t expect to be able to get up to any other higher hills nowadays due to health matters. It’s great reminiscing though. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, David! Yes, it seems to have come to the National Trust relatively recently, too: www.nationaltrust.org.uk/news/grasmere-island-now-in-our-care
Another first class video. Brought back great memories. We did the same route 3 years ago and got a similar day. Please keep posting more. Regards Ashley
Thank you! It probably takes a couple of hours for the walk, although it will inevitably depend on your pace - there is a helpful guide, and map, here: www.walklakes.co.uk/walk_54.html Hope you have a good ay for it!
Hi Shawn. We'll check to make sure there are no copyright issues about putting up OS Maps on our website (onyvafilms.com), but if we're able to, we'll start putting up our routes there. Otherwise, if you can let us have your email address, we can send you more details. Thanks

Thanks for letting us know, Claire. Wishing you all the best for your treatment and recovery.
Nice, I like how real you made it look, some videos make out they’re all really easy and they skip up the fells, they don’t show the slog
Thanks, Karen. Some people do seem to be able to skip up the fells, but that's not us!

Great video 👍
Thanks, Carol!
Excellent! We're in Grasmere next week, and this looks like it'll be a terrific reintroduction to walking uphill!
Thank you! Hope you enjoy - we decided that it was probably good to start gently and build back up to the big stuff!
These videos are great and giving me lots of inspiration. Especially with the drone footage for my own :) keep up the great work!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed them!

How many miles is this walk please. Nice video
Thank you. It’s about 2.8 miles - a little over a thousand feet of ascent/descent. Enjoy!

Do you don't happen to have the route you taken plotted on a os map?
