God this show will just not be the same without Henry and it’s so depressing cause it is so good because of him. It’s unbearable he won’t be in it anymore. Have to rewatch season 1-3.
Right! Even with him, it sorta hard bc it’s confusing without him I will actually be 100% lost and uninterested. I’m sure Liam will do fine but just not the same 😑 😣
"Unbearable" sounds exactly right. This is my favorite show and I'm so inconsolable over his depart and wishing that by some miracle, he will reclaim his role and this isn't happening.

Though I don't think it's only Henry who makes the show good, I will miss him,too...
imo it isnt SO GOOD with him, its just that the main actors are VERY good at acting that they carry it.
Such a shame Netflix has destroyed something, that had the potential to be one of the best fantasy series/movies ever.
This one actually the closest one to the book. So good.

Unfortunately, Henry was not available for the normal press interviews this time. Of course, we would have loved to talk to him and present his answers to you. Maybe there will be another opportunity to do so in view of the release of part 2 of season 3. Of course, we hope that you still enjoy the interviews with the rest of the cast.
I absolutely DREAD all the negativity that will come to Liam. He did not cause this, and he shouldnt be compared or blamed. It will be so unfair for viewers/fans to hold him accountable for any of Netflix/Henry decisions. It is just an acting role, everyone please just be kind.
It's really sad that he will get all the hate that people have for the producers
It sucks for Liam but this is why actors should be very careful about what they jump in to. I have no doubt Henry will support him but Liam will take the brunt of the criticism that should be directed at the producers.

Liam really is in a bad position here. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. If he comes on and doesn't sound enough like Henry he's going to face criticism. If he comes on and sounds too much like Henry he's going to face criticism. If he comes on and tries to establish a new Geralt, criticism. If he comes on and tries to fit exactly into the style of Henry, criticism. I wish him well but in the best case scenario people learn to accept him as a caretaker in the role while they just get the last two seasons finished.
No one makes you take a role, he know where he is getting into

I would give Liam a chance of course but Henry is the inbodyment of Geralt of Rivia and his absence will be obvious.... And I love the incredible chemistry between him and Anya!! And Freya and Joey....😢😢

Even they are trying to save face by saying they’re adapting the book more faithfully this season. It’s too late.
They should have kept Henry and fired the writers, their mocking of the source material and creation of this twisted fan fiction BS is what doomed the show.
I honestly think Joey, Anya and Freya know the show is going to tank or not even make season 4 I believe if they could they would happily walk away but unfortunately due to this being there first big role they do not have the fame, career or money to just walk away like Henry. Even if they did they would never get another job in Hollywood for following Henry So unfortunately they are stuck with the sinking ship.
I read that Freya Allan has few projects lined up . Don’t know about anya though
Feels like HC had highs hopes regarding the show- when it didn’t meet expectations he had set he just walked off - now others are stuck
He,s voice and his fighting skills are so iconic. Henry is gerald and I ain’t watching so 4!

This was your Game of Thrones,all you guys had to do is stay with in the books by 45%-65% accuracy Netflix would have Bank....try drop the ball , not to the floor , but all the way Mount Doom!!!!
Not only that. Quality dropped from season 1 too. Season 1 was not great, but it was better.
I'm just happy they're doing more seasons..too many potentially epic shows are cut short when they could go on for ... ever.
this is not a epic show it has never been cause of the director/writers. Only thing that made me see Season 1 and 2 was henry and The Witcher games. Nothing ELSE!

The cast is very talented despite mediocre material adaptation to work with. They literally support the season on their talent and not the script or the execution of the producers/writers.

They are visibly upset here. We the fans are also upset that he left the show. I love Henry Cavill as Superman and as the Witcher he did a fantastic job too bad he quit playing both. I think Liam Hemsworth has a big shoes to fill, I hope he do justice the Witcher role
I'm going to give Liam Hemsworth the benefit of the doubt and I think he'll surprise us. Henry Cavill will be missed but I understand his desire to move on to other projects if this one isn't as fulfilling for him anymore and you can't help but look forward to the warhammer series on prime.

This is like a funeral, good by Witcher.
Season 1 is good. Season 2 is better. Season 3 volume 1 is so much better. In the end, just feel empty realizing that Henry Cavill will not coming back. Don't know what to expect for volume 2, but the iage of Henry as Geralt will be forever in my mind.
If you're familiar with the source material then you have all that backwards, and now the Witcher is devolving into some kind of twisted fan fiction. Netflix blew it.
I have no hate for Liam but he simply cannot fill the shoes of the Witcher like Henry has.

Listen most of the side characters and actors did fine but in all honesty none of them are good enough to watch the show for. Cavill was the reason I watched, he legitimised the show and without him I would feel like I'm watching some obscure B level adventure like Willow or something.

Brilliant season. Followed the book sooo well. I was explaining what was going on and what is going to happen. Such a shame Henry couldn’t hack it.
Get outta here with that, Netflix and their showrunner already blew off the source and did their own fan fiction. Don't pretend otherwise. Big sections of season 2 and now season 3 -- wtf is this stuff, it makes no sense. It's not true to the source, writers are actively mocking the source material, Cavill left because they screwed it up and went off the page.... They blew it. What could have been magnificent and had a good start in season 1 is now just...wrong. Maybe you know somebody on the writing staff or something and feel like you have to defend them. Please don't.
Why dont yenefer ciri and yiasker say that they will leave too so that they bring Henry back????

replacing the main character just isnt done if the intent is to create a massively successful show. This isnt a 007 film. So now all the chemistry and comfort thats been built over 4 years has to be restarted. For what appears to be screenwriting ineptitude and putting forced political agendas ahead of quality and respect for subject material.

Done with Witcher after this season. 🤷♂️ henry is geralt. ...period. showrunners could not have screwed up such great potential anymore than they did. Its terribly frustrating. Im out after this season. Netflix wont get my views. Hopefully that counts for something. Fire the demon woman that ruined such a glorious show!

If you listen to how they answer the questions I think they have great respect for Cavill but he's also a draining diva and a bit of a dick. Trust me its sad to realize this and I will miss him in his greatest role but I sense the reality of the situation and had Cavill wanted to he had the star power to resolve this
I had a way different interpretation. Since they referenced the books in the beginning and in a few other interviews I can take it they are informed on the original story and characters. So they would completely agree with Henry as he only wanted the story to be accurate to the characters. He said a few times a while ago that he was completely ok with the story being a bit off as it is an interpretation but he does not like when they make the characters do things they wouldn’t ever do. They know Henry is right and they are sad that Netflix was to stubborn to understand what they had.
@@Smallen I agree with this. Every actors know that when its "adopted" or "referenced" from books, it doesnt mean it will follow the book completely. And Henry knows that. He took on the role because he loved the story and the character. But I think he is getting fed up with how the writers wanted to do something for showmanship. Like many sex and drama or story detours. GOT had a lot of those.
Although I respected Henry's decision, I hoped he stayed just for the sake of the fans who love the series and his portrayal, as well as for the actors.
But I guess when you are miserable and doesn't like what you are doing, its better to leave than perform half*ssed.
I’ll give Liam a go as it’s still the same great world. But I’ll miss Henry’s presence and his development of Geralt over the TV series. I’ll always cherish getting 3 seasons of Cavill.
