A challenging hit-out for The Big Husky 70.3 would be an understatement. This was one of my toughest days in triathlon yet! The race smashed me up more than in previous years at the big Husky and I missed my course PB by a long shot. That being said, it's in exactly these moments that we must remember what a privilege it is to have the opportunity to race, connect with the land and share experiences with people you love!
I've done my best in the video to share the authentic experience of the race with help from my gorgeous girlfriend. Thanks to my friends and family who featured or made it possible to swim, bike and run on beautiful Yuin Country/Jervis Bay.
