Best European City for Cyclists & Runners?

Over 10 days in Girona I cycled 250kms and ran 90kms and I can categorically tell you it's amongst the best cycling and running I've ever done. I wasn't surprised about that either! I knew the stories about how Girona became a cycling and sporting hub, which is what inspired me to see it for myself!
You only have to sit at one of the local cafes to see this in action; world tour cyclists, professional triathletes, ex-Olympians and sports fans from across the globe all sharing space in this gorgeous, historic Catalan city.
What makes it so good then? Well, you'll have to give the video a watch but it has something to do with; an abundance of trails and gravel roads for running, gravel riding and MTB, epic climbs for road cyclists on hotly contested KOMs, the Pyrenees, and the stunning Costa Brava coastline.
Running and cycling everyday in Girona was an absolute dream and I'd recommend it to anyone!

Rocacorba was one of the hardest climbs I’ve done yet! Really steep and tricky. Shame you couldn’t do it but looked like a great trip overall.

Great vid, funny that there was road works and you couldnt go to rocacorba, I found it extremely overrated as a climb, its a single way road of pretty poor quality seemingly in the middle of nowhere, the view is decent but there are certainly better views in girona (as you saw running) haha I got lost trying to find rocacorba, maybe i never found it and found an imposter climb
