Pagan's mind is a great band. All their videos are just them playing and goofing off, but it shows what a spirit all these guys have, and they can shred when they want to. Rock on.

I am glad I could be to any help, old chap. Vortex is definitely one of my all-time favourite vocalists, and I think he deserves some more recognition for his work in bands like Dimmu, Arcturus, Lamented Souls, Borknagar etc.

I'll say though, I love Nil's voice when he sings, not all the distortions he does. Has great clarity and power.

I only just discovered this band; it's an interesting band. Guessing either hailing from the US or the UK. Nonetheless, a great band, and a hell of a song. One for the ages. BLOW OUR MINDS!!

The singer here is an awesome actor. If it wasn't for him this video would be quite boring but the manages to make it exciting with basically no effects but a completely white background. He's also a great singer and the song itself is great!

I´ve seen Pagan´s Mind twice in the past 4 month and they are just unbelievable - I can´t stop listening to their music and specially like Atomic Firelight, although I love all of their albums.
BTW, why can´t you just respect each other or maybe allow yourself to like all of them (DT, QR, PM) - these discussions are so ridiculous, what a kindergarden!

  • @Hamngs

I'll actually say, all the aforementioned bands are awesome. I dunno what's the controversy. They all have their styles and I love each and every one of them for that very reason. Even Dragonforce has their moments. It's not like the music they are playing in the US and Puerto Rico they all sound the same. So, having this variety is actually a good thing. Pagan, Sonata, DT, DF, Angra, and so on... they are all awesome. Ironically... I don't like Nightwish but love Epica.

although technically amazing and impressive, a very bizzare sound to Pagan's Mind. I'm used to stuff like "Through Osiris's Eyes" and "Dreamscape Lucidity", nothing this wild. But it is interesting, I'll give it that.

I have to agree with matthias66.
This is a very unusual sound for Pagan's mind, comparing it to their previous albums.
Sounds like something that moves between trash metal and heavy metal, and still tries to be power\prog.

Dream Theater is still in a higher league. Their compositions are more complex and ambitious, they lyrics are more mature, interesting and diverse, they are better musicians. However, the LaBrie sucks.
However, I love Pagan's mind. They have some very catchy songs and are very good musicians.
