It’s authentic, she’s been on record talking about how in rehearsal James just spits the blood on her but in the live version it got in her mouth and she was fighting back throwing up the entire skit. She had lines and everything but couldn’t even say em since she was literally fighting back puking on live tv..

I think so too but I also feel like they were exaggerated to be “funnier”. I liked everything about this sketch expect Leslie. I honestly don’t feel she’s funny. I have nothing against her but she just doesn’t make me laugh… ever.
Yes, that's probably the whole thing about Franco saying, "That's what she said," meaning her, although she couldn't get the lines out so Franco decided to have them there in a doubling back of lines.
She said she nearly threw up on camera. Her dry heaves really made this for me. That and Kate totally improved the 8 pints of blood line.

For me what made it so funny was how much Franco was enjoying himself and how much the others weren't.
The writers were like "it's getting late, let's just do another bleeding excessively sketch."
But what made it special was when Leslie almost threw up and the whole thing went crazy.
The fact that Leslie was really freaking out made it so much funnier for me!! I can't stop laughing! I guess I'm a horrible person. :(
