One of my favorite things to do since kindergarten all the way through school was to stare at the patterns in the weird texture of the bus seats and then draw what I saw. Hey Jazza, I just wanted to say thank you for everything you do. I am a frantic doodler for about 10 years now and your art channel inspired me to really learn to draw characters back in those days when I started out. Lately I really am feeling out of it with my normal drawing routine as doodling and sketching became stale to me, I have dabbled with digital and paint but nothing seems to stick as I just don't have a real methodical approach to it. and went back to this channel to see a lot of guidebooks on all those steps after the sketch. So I'm thinking of again buying some of your guidebooks and again just wanted to say thank you for being you❤✌ peace and love from the Netherlands, I never really say this but you are like the only creater I know that I would actually like to meet as you helped me to forge the creative person I am today :)
I'm a writer more than a visual artist and long ago wrote a character whose art style was basically this, except that they were doing more planning in the creating color bit - less exactly like this and more an extreme sort of impressionist watercolor, followed by the lines to make the impression into a line drawing.
So excited and impressed, I ordered the pro sketch pad on Sunday and it was on my doorstep this am as I left for work, my only issue is I have to wait the day to open and enjoy. But cannot believe the speed of delivery. Will update after opening!!

Jazza saying that the piece was ruined at 13:35 is so wrong. One of my favorites from this video personally.

Saw Peter Draws do this a few years ago. It's a really cool way to do abstract pieces, since you can trace those water lines and get some truly chaotic lines.
This is one of my fav way to 'sketch' things for years. I think it started out as a way to not ruin the ink but it also helps me because I dont draw with an image in my head before I start to draw. Also if the black Ink is too much one can try coloured ink/markers instead.
I started wathcing you a few weeks ago but now Im going to subscribe. Your videos made my artistic self want to learn more. I was never good at drawing but you encouraged me to keep practicing. Thank you very much. God bless your kindness and amazing self.
Hey Jazza, try crochet! Personally I’m making a vest from the alligator stitch. :) (it’s going fabulously) I would recommend trying something simple and small first though, with a plain design in a scarf or a headband. I definitely recommend trying it. (And don’t wrap the yarn around your finger!!! Put it over your pinky, under the next two fingers, and over the pointer finger.) probably not going to see my comment, but if you do, Hi and thanks for posting fun videos!
It's really cool to see how different people recognise shapes in different ways. Just for example, with the second one, I didn't see a diver. I saw a wyvern flying into the distance. Though when you pointed it out, I was able to see the diver too. Shapes and how the brain works woth them are fascinating XD
On Domestika I have done a watercolor course where they have a practical lesson similar to this - make blobs of paint. Do 'reverse colour book' exercise by drawing in what you see in your different blobs. Pick 2 or 3 of you favourite 'designs'/pictures and compose an artwork around them. Seriously a lot of fun!
It's interesting to see Jazza go back to some of the basics. I still have the Arty Games App and it helped me with turning nothing into something! All pieces were creative and fun! Excellent video!!!! 👏👏👏🔥
i've been doing this type of watercolor for a while now and it's much easier to get going with some paint already on the paper. you can create soem real masterpieces like this. yours look great.
For me, it’s like free association. Just love how the brain finds things from nothing. Like looking at clouds and finding angels and puppy dogs! Great vid!🙋♀️🖋❤️🎨
I’ve spent years painting and practicing waters color art, be it abstract, floral and patterns. ❤ who knew it good be a reversed coloring book. ❤ Live on the wild side paint to the music that no one else hears. ❤

It’s so amazing when people actually see so many different things when it comes to drawing, on the last one I saw so many different things than Jazza 😄 I thought he will draw an angry face and bird and in the left corner was another face haha but he completely surprised me 😄
Jazza you’re amazing artist! It was always pleasure to watch your videos and still is 😁
Wow! I have always wondered what the title of how I see pictures in things Jazza! I'm happy to see you've discovered how I see what I see in abstract coloring.
YES!! Finally ordered the Pro Sketch pack, oh man I love that you guys added the flex pay!! That helped so much, and now I can’t wait til it gets here! Keep killing it Jazza!
I love the orange cliff side, steampunk city one! Super cool
I loved your reverse coloring pages! The dinosaur one was my favorite. I just asked the hubby very nicely for this sketch set! Actually, I should've asked for it for our 19th wedding Anniversary this year! I think that is a well deserved gift! Lol
Saw Peter Draws do this a few years ago. It's a really cool way to do abstract pieces, since you can trace those water lines and get some truly chaotic lines.
Magical results! especially the city scape!
I do this all the time and never realized there was name for it. Love it!
It's really cool to see how different people recognise shapes in different ways. Just for example, with the second one, I didn't see a diver. I saw a wyvern flying into the distance. Though when you pointed it out, I was able to see the diver too.
Shapes and how the brain works woth them are fascinating XD
I'd LOVEEEE that cityscape one as a print or a wall piece!!!
My son and I just did some sheets of water color to try this. My son loves your content and inspires us to do art together. Such a win win.
Started watching your content again after years, missed this good stuff!
i've been doing this type of watercolor for a while now and it's much easier to get going with some paint already on the paper. you can create soem real masterpieces like this. yours look great.
2:19 this is the most cursed episode of _The Land Before Time_ I've ever heard
and I LOVE it
Ive done this for years. Where Jazza sees dinos, I fill em up with flowers.
For me, it’s like free association. Just love how the brain finds things from nothing. Like looking at clouds and finding angels and puppy dogs! Great vid!🙋♀️🖋❤️🎨
8:11 I could see fire taking the shape of a bear/a bear of fire, but your take on it was still really good.
I’ve spent years painting and practicing waters color art, be it abstract, floral and patterns. ❤ who knew it good be a reversed coloring book. ❤ Live on the wild side paint to the music that no one else hears. ❤
Thanks for this video Jazza. I needed to hear someone say, just start, follow the flow and have a plan.
My mom loves her pro sketch pack. Thank you so much. Sometimes a little boost happens with fresh art supplies.
I did this a lot when I was a kid. So cool people are into this.
This is great. I'd never heard of reverse coloring books until today. Love the idea of taking a page you created and trying this technique.
