They sat next to each other on the plane.

They were behind in the Illusion sessions and couldn't wait anymore according to Izzy who didn't want him kicked out. I really liked the way he played more than Matt.

Matt's a great drummer & doing what he can for animal rights, as Steven is for both but There'll always be one original drummer for Guns & it's Adler

As far as the beef with Nirvana, there's been plenty of stories about how stupid everyone knew it was. Kurt reconciled with Duff on a flight, and when Axl heard the news of Kurt's passing, he was deeply upset. Their "feud" was like a highschool tiff just vastly blown up by the media at that time. I think media wanted to portray a physical manifestation of how grunge was so huge it swallowed up hair metal, or whatever. I can't imagine being so scrutinized by journalists that a minor thing became this big issue.

4-izzy overdosed over heroin.

At the Montreal Stadium, it was a double feature: Metallica and Guns n Roses. But James Headfield burned his hand with a pyro effect and stopped the show after 30 mins. GnR followed more than two hours after that and also cutter the show short. Fans were pissed (most of them under the influence). Metallica returned next summer to perform again with 30$ tickets. Slash also returned (alone) to say sorry to Montreal
