15, 13, and 10 - and they're playing as well or better as people two to three times their age. The Liceo concert was played for their classmates. It was provided to the Berklee College of Music as an audition tape for the summer music program. That program has a minimum age of 15 for attendance, and only Dany was old enough to go without special approval. Each sister selected a song that would be their focus. Ale picked "Hysteria" and runs that bassline like she's playing scales.
The guy in the red shirt seems so proud because he is; he's Pablo González (Sarre), a great Mexican Jazz/Jazz-Fusion Bassist, and Ale's teacher. Ale's father, Luis, a huge fan of Pablo and his band Los Claxons, became friends with Pablo when they were younger. Luis asked Pablo if he could teach Ae bass. Pablo started just as Ale's bass teacher and immediately realized how incredibly talented Ale was; a generational talent. It was Pablo, after the "Enter Sandman" video went viral, who told Dani, Pau, and Ale that they had to seriously consider working on original music as they were too talented to just be a cover band. Pablo started working with all 3 sisters, teaching them how to compose and edit their own songs, and from there how to produce them.
In the frame where you are talking about Pablo, in the red shirt, you can also see their Dad. He’s in a black shirt immediately right of Ale’s Mic stand.
Ale is a prodigy. The 3 sisters received scholarships to Berklee College Of Music yet Ale just turned 10; it's for 15 and over, only Dani qualified. They made rare exceptions for younger teens, but Ale was a child. Ale played the incredibly difficult Bassline from Muse's "Hysteria," playing part of it over the top of the fret-board as a flex, (something Ale normally never does), all to prove to Berklee that they had to take her. I first saw DPA when Ale was 16: I watched in awe; a 16 year old world-class Jazz Bassist playing Rock. How? I could hear influences of masters like Jaco Pastorius. David Bendeth produced "Error" with DPA. Bendeth stated: "Ale's up there with the greatest Rock Bassist of all time.' Bendeth compared Ale to Chris Squire and Geddy Lee.
The guy in the red shirt is actually Ale's bass instructor and also taught the girls how to write original songs. He remains in touch with TW and even performed with them on stage at the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX show. Unfortunately only fan cam video is available for that special moment.
Ale's bass teacher was Pablo González. He's an Mexican musician that plays in an Mexican band. The Warning were recording this performance to send to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA for their admittance. There are 3 songs they sent to Berklee. #1) Hysteria (Muse) for Ale. #2) Crazy Train (Ozzy Osborne) for Dany (their father Luis fixes Dany's mic stand) #3) Everlong (Foo Fighters) for Pau (Pau's mother Monica is videoing Pau [insert] behind her using a video camera The Warning calls Petunia). This concert was performed at The Warnings All-Girl school (Liceo is Español for School) they attended before being Home Schooled. This whole show is worth a look. -------------------- Ale's bass teacher Plabo played with his pupil on the song *"23"* at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX. That video is a fan cam video. The Warning's official live video of *"23"* at Teatro Metropolitan was recorded on their first night. Not the second night like the rest of Teatro Metropolitan video was recorded.
This was at their school, Liceo de Monterrey, a private catholic gender-segregated k-12 bilingual school. This was the last time they attended in person. Due to their touring schedule they completed their schooling at home using the school's curriculum.
11 year old Ale flexing. I believe they did this performance at their school because they needed to include a tape of a live performance for their application packet to the Berklee College of Music summer program (Ale and Pau needed waivers because they were too young). This song was a showcase for Ale (and red shirt guy is Pablo Gonzalez, Ale's bass teacher). Muse was very influential for the girls and they got to open for them in Mexico in 2023 then they were invited to open for Muse on their European tour.
They have toured with Muse in Europe. You will see Dany play a yellow guitar in some of their live performances. It was given to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse.
They actually got to open for Muse when they played Mexico City and they were so impressed that they invited them to be their opener for their European tour
Imagine flexing on a song this hard on bass at the tender age of 10. 🤯 All 3 are were first trained on classical piano for several years, before learning their current instrument. Dany and Ale also learned to play saxophone in school.
People are probably recommending concerts, like the recent Pepsi Centre, because the whole thing is great. The Warning did release each song separately but also as a single video of the whole concert. The latter is worth a watch imo, since it includes some of the interactions between songs that were cut from the individual releases.
I had to giggle a bit at your initial reaction when the song first started, because of your obvious skepticism beforehand about Ale being able to handle the bassline. Surprise! A ten-year-old little girl SLAYED it like it was nothin'! She was like: "Here. Hold my juice box while I show this reactor guy who I am." 😂
The father appears at the beginning of the concert to solve a microphone problem: CRAZY TRAIN - OZZY OSBOURNE COVER - THE WARNING @ LICEO Here you can see both parents at 3:04, filmed spontaneously: The Warning - MAYDAY IN THE MAKING Ep 1.: INTRO
I’m gonna burn my Bass, a 10 year old playing it like it’s easy 😵💫 I struggle to play it all of the way through without making mistakes! It was a great performance and it was at their school, what’s really special about it was that it was part of their portfolio for getting into Berklee college of music because Dany was the only one old enough, they had to convince them to take all three of them together.
This school concert is a perfect showcase of their talents at such a young age. They have been already been playing for a few years prior to this. Ale was 10 playing that iconic Bass line here. When she was a few years older, she did a selfie short type video of this song and Muse shared it, making it go Viral. Amazing things like that continues to happen with them, to this very day.
Alejandra could play this bass line at age 8. In this video she is 10, and the Enter Sandman video was about a year earlier, when she was 9. This concert was a couple of months after the release of their 1st original songs on their EP "Escape the Mind", and a couple of months prior to them attending the Berklee College of Music summer session in Boston, Massachusetts. This concert was at Redwings auditorium at their school in Monterrey, Mexico. The dark hair lady to the right, with her back to the stage is their mom. The guy in the red shirt with the ball cap is Pablo Sarre Gonzales, Alejandra's bass teacher. Their dad is off to the left next to Alejandra behind all the equipment. Muse is their consensus favorite band and have seen them in concert over a dozen times. They have also opened for Muse 9x and went to dinner with them afterwards to sit aroundand talk, also, Daniela received a custom yellow Manson Oryx 6 guitar as a gift from Matt Bellamy.
This was at their school, in Monterrey, Mexico. The man in the red t-shirt is their proud teacher and Ale's proud bass mentor, Pablo. Their proud dad is also over there in a black t-shirt. They performed this song one-and-a-half years earlier, when Ale was tiny, and barely 9 years old, back in December 2013. That one back then was the band's first song from their first live show. Worth checking out.
Ale just turned 20 and you should see how much of a bass rock goddess she has become today. They have been labeled The Queens of Rock last year. They are the best thing to come to rock music in decades with 4 albums under their belt. ❤⚡️🤘
The Liceo concert by The Warning is a sentimental favorite of mine - shows their skill level way back at the beginning. And yes you should react to some Muse songs, they are just about the best band on the planet and a huge influence on The Warning as they grew up.
Remember that Ale was only playing for about a month when they formed the band. It's like she picked up a bass and just started slaying it like she was already playing for years.
If you want to see another Muse cover check out their cover of "Resistance". It is a bit older than this video. In that one Dany is 14, Pau is 12, and Ale is 9. You will get to see Dany on the keyboard an the guitar. Also keep an eye on Ale as she switches from playing with a pick to playing with her fingers and back again. And Pau absolutely kills it on the drums. ua-cam.com/video/6YU42y8H_d8/v-deo.html
Consider their cover of Muse "Resistance" recorded in their home basement studio they call The Warning Cave. Paulina plays DW drums, Sabian cymbals, and uses Vic Firth 5b drum sticks.
The gentleman in the red shirt is their mentor and Ale the bass player teacher and a friend of their father. Their father was also there he was the one in the black shirt.
This is in Mexico, Mexico is a mixed race country is mostly a mix of spaniard and amerindian blood(+more), so yes you are gonna find people that look all in between that spectrum.
All three play piano. In this concert Paulina the drummer plays a song on the piano. Called Escape the mind. And this concert video was at their school Liceo de Monterrey and the video was used for proof that Ale and Pau could play well enough to be admitted to Berklee school of music for the 5 week summer course. Minimum entrance is the age of 15 which they were not at this time.
The location is their Catholic Bilingual School. FYI, people are not suggesting shows but rather where to pull your clips from. They are top notch video and audio mixing footage that show the sisters at their best. As for why Muse, here is a short video explanation. ua-cam.com/video/KTMHR-K8Gm8/v-deo.htmlsi=ybo53nGjG4zM_p3F As you dive down the rabbit hole that one of a kind yellow mustard guitar is a gift from muse's lead guitarist who is an owner in the guitar company. The color is Dany's favorite.
The keyboard is for ‘Escape the Mind’. But yes, if you want to see Dany play guitar and keyboard: ua-cam.com/video/6YU42y8H_d8/v-deo.htmlsi=b5HfYpSK56g_eVCm Also keep a close eye on pick-ninja Ale.
Great reaction! Yes, this is at their school (age 10, 13 and 15 here). Keyboard? They all play since very early age, short sample of that in their 2nd TEDx performance 2017 ua-cam.com/video/pj5ue3M-v6o/v-deo.html which I HIGHLY recommend you to see, amazing energy- 3 songs and them talking in between about their work of their first album (18 min. in total)
If you want suggestion for covers: then from the same concert, Dany had selected Ozzy Osbourne "Crazy Train" and Pau selected Foo Fighters "Everlong". If you want to another cover made a year after this concert then I highly recommend "The Pretender" Foo Fighters cover - The Warnng out of the basement.

What was i doing at 10 yrs old? Not running Muse base riffs lol.❤
The guy in the red shirt is actually Ale's bass instructor and also taught the girls how to write original songs. He remains in touch with TW and even performed with them on stage at the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX show. Unfortunately only fan cam video is available for that special moment.
He didn't actually teach them to compose. He set them to compose, and they ran with it.. magnificently!
Ale's bass teacher was Pablo González. He's an Mexican musician that plays in an Mexican band.

Ale was, and always will be the goddess of THUNDER!!! Just a few short years later they would be opening for their idols. MUSE!

Ale just 9 years old!!! She's great bass player 😉⚡🔥🤟👍
@@Ernow-di3op Ale was just *10* years old!!
Usually when your pre-teen kid sister fills in on bass in your band you don't play Hysteria... But Ale is hardly average 😊
They have toured with Muse in Europe. You will see Dany play a yellow guitar in some of their live performances. It was given to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse.

She even slayed it when she was just 9 (without the flex).
SUBBED! Ale killed that busy bass line, even with her flex! LOL!
This was The Warning showing off how good Ale really is as a 10 year old bass player Ale was actually showing off.

A 10 year old playing a really hard bass line and basically killing it she make it look and sound effortless. . .
