When I listen to The Warning I often wonder what the Wilson sisters would think. Her vocals and guitar are so huge. I think they would be impressed by the fact that The Warning is a trio, and that they are sisters.

Dany is a superhero: in regular life she is a sweetheart and a ray of sunshine, but as soon as she starts performing she turns into a badass powerhouse. Her voice has matured a bit in the last three or four years (she's about to turn 25), so I guess she would be even more impressive if she were to have another "Dany Sings The Songs You Request" challenege. That is but one of many gems they have hidden as rewards there. This video you just watched was from Instagram reels. Each video clip is only a few seconds long. They was all put together one at a time for this video, and is why you experienced the little gap pause. They used to do this on Patreon using the "Lens" app, but Patreon decided not to include it in their update. Total bummer it's gone, as it was always something to look forward too each week. Dany's show tune surprise Live, was 2 hours long. It's crazy how much she knows, and can sing well.

I agree - I have thought on a number of occasions that Heart and The Warning should do Barracuda together. It would be more than just a great collab, but it could be used to pass the Rock torch on from the original sister rockers to the new sister rockers.

Moriah their sing has an absolutely amazing voice and makes the best job I’ve ever heard other than Ann Wilson herself. These Dany days was what kept us all sane during lockdown, the high point of the week she’s an absolute sweetheart!
If you look up Dany’s vocal range, the only site with a substancial analysis is Range Planet. They have her range listed from C#3 - G6. Some of the annotations are from this very video (Barracuda and Phantom of the Opera for example). I’ve heard that there’s an overall range which includes basically anything you can vocalize like a trill, squeak, growl or grunt. I’ve also seen people mention a “working range” which are notes that are actually sung melodically. Apparently some of the notes accredited to Dany’s upper range are indeed not sung notes. I’ve heard a lot of people describe Dany’s “working range” from around C#3 - F5 which I’ve been told lines up pretty favorably with an alto classification. Obviously don’t take what I’m saying as any kind of gospel. I’m just repeating what I’ve read and heard and am probably wrong?
