Thanks, Mikey! Thanks, Joe! 🌑 We got plenty, Joe. We got motivations, we got the reasons for the cascade of misunderstandings. The "we must be sacrificed" misquote little 'Mae' conveyed to 'Indara' and 'Sol' had a huge impact. They literally thought the girls were in mortal danger. 'Aniseya' actually said, "It is about sacrificing a *part* of ourselves". 🔸 It's also wild to learn that 'Sol' was imposing his own wants (to have a Padawan... even though he might not be ready) onto the situation. He even almost lost his temper with 'Indara' at the end... very un-Jedi-like. 🔸 And don't get me started on 'Torbin' being all immature from boredom and homesickness. 🔸 'Indara' turned out to be the most reasonable one of all.

Hate to tell you this guys but the last episode is also a flashback to explain how Qirmir got involved in all of this.

Summary of this episode (and perhaps the whole season): "Smart" people being stupid.

It's painful to have to grasp at straws to try to understand the motivations and lazy writing of this series... scene after seeing seems to only create more Whys? This whole series feels like the first draft of an adolescent with no regard for continuity of characters or their decisions...

Example: if Sol can hold up two sides of the immense collapsing bridge, why couldn't he just grab the two miniscule girls with the force instead... my brain hurty...

Seven weeks on Brendok, and they hadn't yet told Torbin why they were there.
Seven weeks on Brendok, with technology snooping devices and all being Force sensitive, yet the Jedi hadn't found a big damn castle with its own high technology and full of Force sensitives... _within walking distance of their camp._
That beat-for-beat second flashback got tiresome. Ultimately, it gave us some additional details, but didn't actually change the significant events of the first flashback. One thing, though, it sure looks like Mother Koril has some Sith-ish attitudes...and she got away.
"Everyone must be sacrificed to fulfill their destiny" gives us an indeterminate noun and a pronoun with an in determinant antecedent (which is a problem with ignoring the number character of pronouns). Does that mean the girls have to be sacrificed to fulfill the destiny of the coven? Does it mean the _coven_ must be sacrificed to fulfill the destiny of the girls? Or is "sacrifice" merely a metaphor for "giving up your own personal desires?" Even though that meaning would fit right into Jedi philosophy, Sol presumes something different...both his prejudice and his own desire for a padawan were talking. Sol is proving to be a bad Jedi.
They showed Mae standing at the door crying for help, then she started going smokey. They also showed Sol erroneously call her "Osha," so I guess the implication is that he erroneously thought Mother Aniseya was harming her, so he responded by immediately killing the Aniseya. But then, if Aniseya was planning to let them take Osha, she was was acting just the opposite, including making a veiled threat against all the Jedi. That may be the one reasonable action in the episode.
They showed Mae standing at the door crying for help, then she started going smokey. They also showed Sol erroneously call her "Osha," so I guess the implication is that he erroneously thought Mother Aniseya was harming her, so he responded by immediately killing the Aniseya. Why didn't Sol Force-grab both girls instead of trying to hold up the ends of the bridge?
No, Indara did not have a good reason to lie to the Council. None of them had done anything particularly wrong, although they all exhibited poor judgment. And why would it have been necessary for Sol to be Osha's master? They have thousands of Jedi. He was the one who killed her mother...he should have been the _last_ choice of Osha's master among all the Jedi, because he was too personally involved. Indara was right the first time...Sol didn't deserve a padawan, and everything he'd done on Brendok proved it.
In the end, Sol told Osha, "Mae started a fire." She did...but how did he know?
I think Joe is right...Sol's going to end up dying one way or another because he's been shown to be the last "bad guy" or at best "tragic hero" who is still alive (probably a self-sacrifice, if these writers allow him to go out nobly...which isn't guaranteed). Mother Korin is probably going to make another appearance (or these writers might have just forgotten about her). Osha is probably going away with Qimir, and the writers will characterize that as _just as good_ as she would have been with the Jedi.
You guys are working too hard under the presumption that these writers are so skilled that _you_ must have missed something.

Really good discussion guys thanks 😃👍I too think Osha will kill Sol when she learns he killed her mum which will complete her journey to the darkside which Qimir started with her in the last episode. The Jedi were essentially committing a home invasion so everything the witches did thereafter was in defense of their home, family and children. The Jedi were in the wrong in my opinion as the witches weren't following them to their camp. I think mother Aniseya going smoke and taking Mae with her was just her trying to get her daughter safely out of harm's way since Torbin and mother Korril were about to throw down. I don't know it for certain but base this on mother Korril using the same tactic to flee from Sol after he cleaved her staff in two. Remember she'd just watched him kill her partner. Mae hating the four of them makes complete sense to me now. A fascinating cautionary tale despite the continuing pacing and writing issues✌️😁#istilllovestarwars8

So why did master baldspot kill himself over his grief? He really didn't do anything that bad and honestly neither did the Jedi, when force witch's start turning into a demon mist form who can really blame them for stabbing her.

The point of this flash back episode (which should have been no more than 10 minutes) is to bring clarity to whose fault it is, which is everyone, except Osha. It is also probably Sol confessing to Mae, and the story he’s telling Mae as well as getting Mae’s perspective is this particular flashback. So feeling some time of “closure” (and in trying to repent from his mistakes) in this, this will lead him to his next move again.
This next move I think will lead to a massive slaughter where everyone will probably die, the sisters, Qimir, and Sol, and Vernestra will probably arrive too late to stop the bloodbath to figure out the whole truth of the matter.
Then…(this is my hope) Darth Tenebrus will rise…and all will be well.
Ok maybe I’m hopeless, but come on, give us the Bith Sith!

I enjoy the content of this show but the execution is so damned wonky. It is very telling to me that anything off about this show could be fixed in editing. Went from excited for the conclusion to merely interested in how they are going to wrap it up in these off run times they keep putting up. Hopefully we get a full hour in the finale.

yea 2 flashbacks in a 1/4 season is insane, if they spread them out and have a single flashback scene each ep it would be ok i guess, but entire eps dedicated to flashbacks lol nah this aint obiwon

Would have been way better if this was the 2nd or 3rd episode, they draw this totally expected plot out way too long.
There is still the big bad "Sith". Interesting witch powers, cool to see how Torben gets his scars and an electric fire makes way more sense than a random fire exploding the station.
The twins being one person/mind is interesting too.
The show is really underwhelming but has some cool fight scenes and cool minor overall lore things like the metal. Maybe the final redeems it, but I highly doubt it.
But your reactions and the discussions are still great. 😊

    • With Torbin, he acted impulsively on a desire to go home, plus dealing with that witch being in his head. Torbin most likely blames himself because if he didn't act impulsively, none of this would've happened.
    • Kelnacca got controled against his will. As seen with Torbin, it really messes them up. Plus he attacked his fellow Jedi, permanently scaring Torbin. Meaning he mostly used his claws. Wookies NEVER use their claws in battle and doing so is disgraceful and means they're exiled from their tribe. So he failed as a Jedi and as a Wookie.
    • From what Sol saw, Mae appears in distress and the witch turns into smoke. Looking back to Mae, she's also turning into smoke. He makes a split second decision because he had no clue what was happening to Mae but knew the witch was causing it. He immediately regretted what he did and chose not to attack but defend. It is shown that Sol acts more emotional compared to the other Jedi.
    • I think the witches were passed out became of the stress. Notice how the head witch ONLY invades Torbin's mind because she is a Padawan. She only knows that because Indara said he was her Padawan. It took all of them to control Kelnacca, a Jedi Master and a Wookie. That would not be easy to do. Wookies themselves are hard to control but a force sensitive Wookie is extremely difficult.

I give you credit for trying to make something meaningful out of that big pile of steaming crap....but the reality is: this show is an ongoing bad, sad joke!

Hated Sol in this episode. Wasn’t ever crazy about him but this was bad.
