One of my first models as kid was the Revell 1/48 Hurricane (Hasegawa repack). I have special relationship with the IIc variant:-) ordered my ArmaHobby one too.
It is a fantastic kit. There was another review this morning where it was totally built up (without paint).
Maybe they will do an F8F Bearcat in 1/48..

Peter,what does it matter about the flaws,IT MATCHBOX,canyon style panel lines,it was a hurricane,it was when modelling was A FUN HOBBY.
Yes I agree, but it had more obvious flaws than Matchbox usually did at that time.
Back in Poland in 80 ies I have build 2 of Matchbox IIc´s. Still have one in stash. Great fun. Now seeing forward to obtain this new Arma offering... Looks like they already sold out a whole batch and will produce more in autumn. Also IIC trop is on approach very soon.

Also going back to 1974, the long lost 1/72 Jo Han kits had a "frame loc" system where the sprues locked together...!
More Hurricane versions are on the way. A Tropical version is coming, and obviously a Sea Hurricane.
You do a great job with your in box reviews... but, not convinced. Build it, then show me it's still worth a 9.5 rating.
Few kits build-rating will match the in-box review...but this is a gem, trust me.

Looks like a great kit - definitely sold it for me, so it goes onto my wishlist. As an aside, are we seeing the early stages of a return of those wonderful sideburns from a while ago?

Love the old Matchbox Hurricane box. Built one of those as recently as 1974!
You could build a kit like that in a weekend..
They do bring back good memories, don't they!?

Just watch the review. In the video I watched the presenter compared it to a current Eduard kit, with excellent fit and surface detail. The seat and cannons are 3D printed...

@@Peter-Oxley-Modelling-Lab The fellow who did the built up said that although the Hurricane is not one of his favorite subjects he would build another because of the quality of the model. There are other versions planned as well!
Looks like a fantastic kit. I'm still not getting any notifications for your channel. It is odd, my MOST watched and favorite channel and I have to search for your videos. Eduard decals.
They are made by Techmod in Poland. Nothing like Eduard at all...If only Eduard would use decals like these, there wouldn't be a problem.
Wind screen on that Hurricane is tucked in, it is too far forward.
What do you mean by "tucked in" exactly?
