Ahhhhh! A great build and finish, for a great model kit of my favourite Fighter Aircraft!! Yes, I really enjoyed this review, build and paint job, with weathering and I’ve liked and subscribed! You’ll not be surprised to know that I have this kit in the stash....😎😜...and I’m rather hoping that Arma push the boat out and give us a version in 1/32....wouldn’t that be great? ❤️ Thanks again...as others have already stated, this video hits all the right spots, so you know how to keep it going? 😎🤪👍🏻👍🏻
@@TheModelGuy 😂😂😂 Well, I’ve just watched your video on stencils and “how to make your own”.....I might be able to actually do this thing, after watching it! Mind you, until I invest in the kit, it won’t be a happening thing (it’ll be down to a pair of compasses and a sharp pair of scissors, etc) 🤪 I’ll enjoy watching the other vids, so keep fit n well and I’ll look forward to your next listings! 👍🏻👍🏻
Lovely build. The Hurricane IIC is a great subject and the model looks beautiful. If I can find the kit, I think I'll do it in night intruder black with highlights in grays. Thanks for a super video!
That sir is a absolutely fantastic build and paint job, your weathering was perfectly done, this is one aircraft I have never had in my stash best rdgards from Australia 👍👍👍👍
Fantastic build! Love your format, no crappy music, narrated well with good explanations of what you're doing. Definitely subscribing, thanks for the great vid!
I’ve been looking for a paint stand for aircraft and was curious where you found yours? Can you tell me what brand and model number of your paint stand? Thanks and great video. I enjoyed watching all your steps in the process and techniques of your build and especially enjoyed the history commentary behind the aircraft. Looking forward to your next video.
Great model of one of my favorite aircraft. If you want some further information you should try and read Jacky Hyams book 'Hurricane, the plane that won the war.' Best wishes to you from NZ
Beautiful build. But... I don't know which model is more valuable this one from AH in 1/48 scale or Revells in 1/32. Rather i choose the second. Thanks for sharing your video.
I like the Hawker Hurricane MK2 C very nice fighter plane iconic fighter of WW2. Fought against the luftwaffe. The RAF, Dogfighting in the war. ❤😊💯🤩☺️👍🤗🇬🇧🇬🇧
A lovely build and finish. I'm wondering if that exhaust reference picture you have is of a remanufactured replacement - the exhausts of Hurricanes and Spitfires were made from Inconel which is corrosion and oxidation resistant. Or, if original, perhaps after 70+ years it does actually deteriorate a bit!
Great work man. It's been a few years since I've worked on a scale model but I've got so much equipment that I don't want to go to waste lol. By the way, have you ever seen the channel Tekamo HD? If not, I think you might find their stuff pretty funny
I have the Hawker Hurricane MK 2C. Fought the Luftwaffe of Adolf Hitler & Goring the luftwaffe deserved to be punished brought down to suffer. When Hitler & Goring started the war against the RAF Britain. Nice work on fighter plane.
As a kid I used to make Airfix models in about 5 mins, slap some paint on with a congealed brush, set fire to them and shoot them up with an air gun. Just saying.
😍👍🏻 This is the best finished Arma 1/48 Hurricane MkIIc I’ve seen so far. Marvellous job on the extra detailing and weathering.
I had the pressure of Plasmo dropping his a few days before
@@TheModelGuy 😁
This how I like videos to be produced. No silly UA-cam safe music drowning out any narration. He even throws in some history. Thank you!
Thanks dude. I try to be different :)
I'm 51 and that's far better then any 'CANE I've ever done my Brother. -Detroit
Thankyou for making this video. You have totally nailed the pace, detail and commentary levels.
Glad it was helpful!

Is that how it works? There’s no mention of it in the instructions and I didn’t know
A nice understated build Robbie. It'll be interesting to see what their next 1/48th kit is.
I imagine it’s going to be a Sea Hurricane. Or something we don’t expect

Thanks Richard! I hope I know how to keep it going…and a 1/32 Hurricane by a reputable company would be awesome

That sounds awesome! Be sure to send some pics when you do it
Wow! You are very very talented. You inspire me to push myself with weathering. I'd love to have a build that looks like that. Thank you.
Al
That’s awesome to hear! You can only get better
Very nice build TMG! I have just received this kit and it looks amazing in the box.
You won’t be disappointed!
Great review and very informative. It's a beautyful build. And thank you for loads of tips.
You’re welcome! My favourite part of doing this is helping other people with their work
Beautiful build and enjoyable video. Really like the painting and the “touch up” sections as well.
That was awesome! I will definitely need to get one of the hurricanes.
Thanks Michael! I’m going to say it gets kit of the year :)
Amazing model with excellent surface detail. The finished work is fantastic!
Thanks bud! It’s a great kit and easy to work with.
That sir is a absolutely fantastic build and paint job, your weathering was perfectly done, this is one aircraft I have never had in my stash best rdgards from Australia 👍👍👍👍
Thanks dude, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I’m glad you actually built the kit, I really dislike when other UA-camrs review kits by just looking at the sprues
Exactly. That tells me nothing. HKM’s B-17 looks beautiful on the sprues but is an absolute mess going together
Fantastic build! Love your format, no crappy music, narrated well with good explanations of what you're doing. Definitely subscribing, thanks for the great vid!
Thanks Kevin. Even the free music you get nailed on
This is a really nice kit and I'm impressed with the history of the plane you're giving as you build it.
I’m putting money on kit of the year :)
@@TheModelGuy It's definitely up there
Looks like another kits going in the collection lol. Incredible build!
You won’t be disappointed!
Nice work! This kit must be all the rage haha.
They sold out pretty fast

This is called the Masterpiece Models Benchmate for 1/32-1/24 scale kits.
Great build Robbie! I was really excited to pick this kit up. Seeing your build gives me some inspiration to actually attempt it… maybe. 😂
You’ll do awesome with it!
Very nice build and definitely a kit worth waiting for. Hope to see an early mk.1,🤞
Fabric wings would be cool. The wings are an entire sprue of their own so anything is possible
@@TheModelGuy probably see a fabric wing Hurricane sooner or later.
I will be building this kit very soon, and it's great to see it come together so well (although I very much doubt my paint job will be that good!)
You won’t be disappointed, it’s a very nice kit!
Great model of one of my favorite aircraft. If you want some further information you should try and read Jacky Hyams book 'Hurricane, the plane that won the war.' Best wishes to you from NZ
I’ll find it! I’ve read Tom Niel’s “Gun Button to Fire” a few times and loved it. Trying to find his other work.
Very nice build! I love the chipping part on my builds too, really gives life to the kit! No antenna wire?
The reference photo doesn’t show it on this aircraft. Not do the instructions, they specifically tell you to remove parts for this livery
Beautiful build. But... I don't know which model is more valuable this one from AH in 1/48 scale or Revells in 1/32. Rather i choose the second. Thanks for sharing your video.
That’s one way to view the worth of a kit. But having seeing the revell big Hurri I think the Arma one is much better.
@@TheModelGuy Thank you Sir. I will consider a purchase.
Helpful. Your result was beautiful.

what are those white streaks you painted on the right side??
Did you watch the whole video? I explain what my theory is
@@TheModelGuy ok , I think I skipped the part when you explained.
So , its a paint touch up from the ground crew as seen on the pic , it makes sense👍
Where did you get the square mask to create the chipping effect?
I got them from Uschi. They’re called “splatter templates”
As a kid I used to make Airfix models in about 5 mins, slap some paint on with a congealed brush, set fire to them and shoot them up with an air gun. Just saying.
Piece of art….
Thank you
Really cool. 👍
Miło ,że w polskich barwach❤
Awesome!
1/49?
I fixed it after the premiere :)
Piękny.... i jeszcze piękniejszy bo z Polską Szachownicą. Uczta dla oka.
Luckily I had a Polish speaker here to translate! Thank you
I like plane

I got to get this aircraft kit. And an I 16 soviet fighter.
