Great video! I was leaning toward getting these since I'd seen them on a wrangler in a parking lot and thought they looked awesome. I didn't get to see it in action, and its lack of cut off line and no true beam pattern is shown in your video. thank you for saving me!

I just put these on my jeep jk and their not to bad just really hard to adjust because of the messy beam patterns. Mine do say dot approved on the top of the lens.
I have this on my bike and they do very well when accompanied by LED passing lights.
are they still working?
@@jerryx2000 I sold the bike last year. But those and the passing lights lit the road like a torch.

Nice video. I was planning to install two of these in my 2012 Skoda Rapid's bumper. Can you advise if these have a mechanism to fit them in an auxiliary position unlike fitting in standard 7" headlamp assemblies. Thanks in advance

Look how it lights up the top of the trees on low beam. It's going to blind the car speeding towards you. What's the worst that could happen?

I would really like to see a comparison of a 7 inch sealed beam where is that comparison at like what would be found in a TJ or any other vehicle to take a 7 inch round sealed beam headlight
Are you using TWO headlights in your field test ? doesn't look like it.

7:30 “it doesn’t have two independent distinctive beam patterns”. What are you talking about? It absolutely has to distinctive beam patterns, as it has two distinctive origins of light between the two beams. The highbeam is centered in a portrait mode, low beam in a horizontal. That is exactly what you want. You tell us it doesn’t have crisp beam lines but it looks like it does absolutely! Dishonest video.

Do you guys have any information on the Colight 5 3/4 LED headlights by chance??? I bought one last night on a whim and I am now getting a little nervous about it because I can't find any real reviews on them anywhere.. Thankfully I didn't pay much for it but still getting nervous... But after checking the ebay page they are supposed to be DOT and SAE approved which makes me feel a little better about them but still can't find anything on them here on UA-cam or on GOOGLE.. So hopefully you guys here will be able to help me out
That's a knockoff of the JW Speaker 8700 Euro-Version headlight but in a 6" style. Every time we test the JWS knockoffs they are so disappointing and pathetic that we just stopped. Maybe we'll pick up a few and see what people want us to test.
I have since put the light on my bike but haven't been able to put it to the test as I am not able to ride it legally as of yet.. But from what I HAVE been able to do with it, it wasn't TOO bad, just wasn't as bright as they advertised which was to be expected... But thank you for the reply, it does help me understand a little more of what I have now

i think it will be well suited as a motorcycle headlight rather than to a jeep.

got it on for some days.. low beam is not so great but the high beam is good. also im afraid i might be blinding some people if i put it too high. worth the 50 euro for sure!! looks good also

I simply cannot afford 500.00+ for a pair of headlights. Certainly there must be something better than the auto parts sealed beam at 20.00 but still affordable in the 100.00 - 150.00 range that works well? Let's see a review for the average wallet guy!
Unfortunately, we don't test the 2nd best lights. Here we are looking for the best of the best!
There are budget options like the Vision X sealed beam housing replacements that you can add LED bulbs to but you're still talking $300 for the pair with some good LED bulbs in them!
@@HeadlightRevolution Thanks for the reply and informative videos. But if I may try to convince you: I drive an un restored 56 Studebaker Power Hawk. I'm retired and my monthly income is 1500.00. People like me still deserve an adequate headlight, eh? The 'best headlight' is no good if I can't afford it. Perhaps you might shift your paradigm to 'the best headlight for 150.00'? Then some of us lower income folks could have great lighting too! Thanks!
Check out the Vision X lights, I think those would be great for what you're looking for!

Yep. Don't buy any Chinese made products. They are made cheaply, poor quality, and breaks easily.
I know the costs are usually much lower, but there's a reason for that.

These look like they'd be pretty good offroad lights. Otherwise useless and dangerous.
