I have the Dreamline tactical in .177 sub 12. Mine loves Webley Accupell FT, QYS Streamline heavies or Superdomes, in fact it's not pellet fussy at all. I do love it when it's working but have had 2 broken valve stems. Sportsman's gun Centre repaired it foc, but the reg now is not working, shows the fill pressure only, so I am putting a Lane regulator in to try & fix that. Between repairs, it's been pellet on pellet at 40/50 yards & still accurate at 100 yards. Enjoy
Shame that is , James , funny enough my friend had a fault with his fx, when I saw him couple of days ago , the reg gauge was showing 200bar instead of 50 , that’s going in for repair, I shot a target and some balloons couple of days ago at 100 yards , it was very windy , will upload the vid in the next couple of days , can’t wait to repeat when there is a calm day , thinking I will get a cluster of around 3 inches , going by the grouping in strong winds ,, cheers shane
Congratulations my friend I also use to have a FX STREAMLINE. They are excellent guns in every way they look great feel great and mine was so very accurate and reliable the whole time I owned it. I sold it to a good friend of mine so he could take the groundhog problam out off his property and he still owns it and uses it all the time with no problams at all. GREAT CHOICE BUDDY.
I like the dream line a lot. It was my second choice but i love fine walnut stocks so i went for a new S410. You got yourself a great gun 👌Thanks for showing and enjoy your FX👍
@@shaneweightman I,m a HW springer guy and i own he most models but i wanted to have one quality PCP and i love the S410. It has a superb finish and it's also very accurate. I mounted a 6X fixed SWFA SS scope because i like the fine cross hair in it and i won't mess up with the mil dots and different power settings when hunting. Cheers!
I had one the Dreamline Classic in .177,got rid because it was boringly accurate....THE BEST trigger and cocking mechanism I've come across, and I bought it 2nd hand for £550.Got an old FX Typhoon which is just as accurate,in .22
Good choice Shane, love my Dreamline. A bit pricey but the GRS stock makes the gun a joy to shoot and looks fantastic IMHO. A very capable and good value compared to the Crown and Impact . 👍
It appears that way , Jeremy, just editing a video , from yesterday shooting balloons at 100 yards , thanks for watching and commenting buddy , take care Shane
Good review Shane & may I say a great choice, I have a DreamTac. 22 which I have had about 18months or so & I recently purchased a Dreamline Classic Laminate .177 a couple of weeks ago, happy shooting
Hi Shane, lovely review and very good (cool) choice 😎, I have the same gun in .22 and it's a peach. I've added the FX/DonnyFL moderator which is excellent and in keeping with the gun. I also have a Rowan Engineering SSL and rarely use the magazine. Like you I've gone for FX mounts, the adjustable ones, and finally have mounted a UTG 360 recon bipod. It's a sweet setup and I know you'll be very happy with your choice. Yes it's a plain Jane gun but the Walnut and laminate stock would make it much heavier, form memory, without additions, it's only 2.6Kg. Enjoy 👍
Nice bit of kit that is shane,be good if you could get fx on board with all its extras would be great to see all its different styles at their expense. I like it in tactical
Nice rifle .... as you know once you get it bedded in and more used to it your grouping will be spot on but for a new gun that s excellent.. Good luck with it
Hi Shane, Great reveal and a good choice. I looked at them a few years ago and really liked, but wanted a BP style so ended up with a compatto which I still own, and it shoots spot on, but with scope it now feels a bit heavy. So thanks for reminding me about the dreamline. Thanks again for the video, take care. Bob.
I had a MK1 FX Bobcat in .177 I found the smooth twist barrel in sub 12ft lbs was fine out to 40 yards. Anything beyond that - regardless of pellet the groups would open up really wide. I also found better groups using a single shot tray rather than the FX magazine. Even with the single shot tray the smooth twist barrel just wouldn't give me the results I wanted at 45+ yards. The smooth twist just isn't any good for sub 12ft lbs. Get close to 900 fps - - well its then the rifle it should be. I just wish they offered a Lothar Walther or similar traditional barrel option.
That’s not good Stephen , wonder what the problem was , been shooting 2 p groups at 50 yards , and I shot 2 balloons at hundred yards with 3 shots , and there was slight wind today as well , got it on camera for a future video , cheers shane
Yup good little gun the boxer bulpup, but have I had the money I’d have bought the fx dreamline same as you, and I miss those days of growing up with the guns, nice to be doing a bit of shooting again 👍🏼 good video and love that fx, can’t say I have much luck with your kral but more not being in tune with it. Good shooting with the fx also
Handsome gun that, whether the synthetic or the walnut or the laminate. I'm actually starting to like soft-touch synthetics more and more, they look great and are very practical in the field. (I have a hw100 bp .177 but I'm looking to get a .22 and the Dreamline is very close to the top of my list, thanks for the vid.)
Once it’s leaded in you’ll get sub five pence groups all day long, mine is.177 it’s about a year old and at thirty yards it gives me 6 mm edge to edge holes
My hart sank when you revealed your new rifle, not because it's a bad gun , because i bought one two years ago brand new in .177, and to say i was disappointed in it is a understatement, couldn't get it to shoot accurately at all tryed alot of pellets no good , swapped it for a air arms ultimate sporter, best thing I've ever done, must have been a Friday gun , hope yours gives years of fun , 😁👍
Oh that’s not good , wonder what the problem was , I am so far over the moon with mine , yesterday I hit targets smaller than a five pence at 50 yards , then put up two balloons at a hundred yards , hit the first balloon 2nd shot and hit the second first shot , no practice , or shots beforehand , and it was quite windy , so , so far it’s proven to be very accurate, oh and I shot 15 shots into a large target at 100 yards but they grouped around 3 and a half inches to the left of the bullseye , the wind was very strong at that point , I will upload probably later , thanks Shane
Heyup Shane, they are a quality gun for sure, I had the light long version in .22 and that was rude further out on the range, he'll of a lot of gun for the money, Thoroughly enjoyed the review mate, cheers, Jon 👍 Hawkes Eye TV 👍😁
Hi buddy , guess I was going shooting later that day , seems overkill wearing such stuff to the shooting club, but them style of clothes have loads of pockets, handy for phone tin’s pellets, car keys etc etc , I’ve tried wearing a pair of boots with tracksuit bottoms , and that looks a lot worse , cheers shane

be careful , if the cops test your FX they will use a heavy pellet and if its over 12 they will take it off you and you will have a court case coming up. Turn it down a tad.
The power has gone down by .2 , after 420 ish shots , I’m no engineer, but I presume the hammer spring has weakened slightly with use, hence power has slightly reduced, cheers shane
Mrs has the Dreampup ( bullpup configuration ) excellent rifle , super acurrate .. dont put QYS magnums in it ( 13 grn ) it'll run hot ... but it'll be superbly accurate though ..
I recently had my air rifle serviced by a gent who also tests air rifles for the police. He shoots 3 different weight pellets to get a average and if the air rifle is shooting hot he will strip the rifle, check if the anti tampers have been removed (if fitted) and then determine if the air rifle has failed causing it to shoot hot or weather it was intentional. If determined that it was intentional only then will the person in question get prosecuted.
