I fully agree about what you say about PCP rifles. That’s why I went back to springers. I sold my HW100 Laminate and bought a AA TX200. Way more challenging at 50m. And that’s why I consider this pistol.
Heyup Shane, thanks for the honesty mate, looking forward to the next part, as well as the Cp1m, decent free handing at the distance, they're definitely an accurate gun, pistols definitely work as a break from bench resting, I've got a few that I use on my 10 yd indoor ish set up, too much fun mate 😉 cheers, Jon 👍 HETV 👍
Most honest and up front review of the Mito I’ve seen. I just got a Mito S and the trigger is awful. No definite stop to the second stage and it’s to heavy also the fit and finish is not that good but I suppose you have to remember it’s not a high end gun and despite its faults I really like it and intend to stick with it. Just need to get the trigger sorted at some point.
3 adjustment points for the trigger buddy ,you can get it a lot better with a bit of fiddling and patience, mine was very accurate , over all a fairly good gun once the trigger is feeling nice , good luck and thanks for the comment,Shane
Hi Shane, good freehand shooting. The Pistol could be & should be something special, I had to send my first one back due to sight issues. If you can spend the time on fettling it, it will be spot. The magazines I have replaced with 3d printed one's. The original one's aren't good. Over a year on & sorting the trigger etc. I like shooting this. It just lacks quality control at the factory and Rangerite the importers. The pistol accuracy is stunning, which if you get one without issues it is top notch. As you know I shoot mine with a stock fitted, & it is very accurate up to 40 yards. Hope you are feeling better & crack on with the honest reviews. I have a Cometa 400 compact star springer. This is my go to gun, which I get the most out of shooting. Big learning curve from a Pcp. If you get a chance try a cometa which are a much overlooked gun. Looking forward to your next review. Keep well.
Thank you very much for the comment and opinions and thoughts , sorry for the late reply , Brandon , about to review the gun in the next couple of days , thanks buddy take care Shane
My rheumatoid arthritis stopped me using springers which I always loved and preferred so I tried PCP rifles but didn't like it because of exactly what you described about them so I am really interested in trying CO2/PCP pistols and look forward to watching the cp1 as I have a cp2 which is very similar.
Thanks Mark, the secret I’ve found is you have to pellet test the guns to find what the barrel likes , I haven’t put the cp1 through it’s paces yet , as I’ve only had it about 3 days and it’s snowing here at the min, I’m slowly building my way up to a top end pistol , and in around 12 months want to buy a very high end one , I’ll have no excuses then about bad triggers etc , if most shots don’t go near or into the bull it’s cos I’m rubbish , simple as that , l o l , take care thanks for the comment Shane
Interesting you have had problems with the Mito. Had difficulty with leaking seals, went back. Second had a duff barrel. Trigger was very poor with all 3 pistols. Had the same problem with sighting in the supplied sights couldn't get it to bring on aim. Was put off, shame as I thought it'd replace my Ratcatcher, as my Mito had the removable stock. Needless to say, I still have the Crosman 🤔
Not good news buddy , glad you commented to say you’ve had 3 bad examples , I have had high and low points with this gun , but I forgive it it’s faults as I paid 229 , for it , most definitely wouldn’t have been happy if I’d paid 450 , in fact would have sent it back , thanks for your comment , Shane
Good video ol lad and I saw you pop the bell at 50yds with the boxer. Proves you don’t need an overly pricey gun, good video. Like the backdrop. And like you say rather easy. That’s why the 100yds should be more fun. We will see, will look into a decent pistol at somepoint too if free holding it isn’t too heavy 😂
Nice video, I've got the synthetic. 22cal version, I do have an issue with a slowleak but that's probably because I've tinkered with it trying to get more power. I use red dot for 10 meters and a small scope for out to 25 meters and yes it's surprisingly accurate. Looking into getting a larger capacity mag from Bagnells 👌👍
I’ve been watching your videos for about a year, this one’s made me smile the most, jus stick at it mate
