wow David Essex is 76!!!! how did that happen?? 1973 and his poster was on the wall of my bedroom!!! he has aged like a fine wine.
👍😁
It's getting old, and within a blink of eye your there
Me too
Me too. Had no idea he was still alive. So great to see such a talent still healthy and living his best life.
He's aged sooo gracefully too❤.........
Unlike others who have dyed their hair, had skin grafts, try to wear the 'latest trendy' outfits and generally look like they ought not to look, Mr. Essex just looks natural and unpretentious, much to his credit.
And boy has he still got it , life long fan
DAVID IS ICONIC AS WE KNOW BUT HE HAS NEVER BEEN BIG HEADED ABOUT HIM SELF THATS ONE OF HIS GIFTS 👍
He has a good sense of humour.
O yes he was big head
He still looks good at 76
I can see why my mum had a thing for him 😂❤ what a looker .and that smile makes me weak at knees lol
YES, i was in IReland many years ago at Blarney Castle he and his family were there, and the look he gave me cause i was like, look at that guy he is beautiful ! some nice worker there gave me some paper and a pen and i got his autograph he was soooooooo sweet. to be honest, we set eyes on each other and i was almost mesmerized. seriously all the workers there at the castle were so excited, i was like, well i think, what, who is that? he was extremely kind and nice to me.
Aged to Perfection ❤
Oh how I loved this man! Clearly I have great taste.
You are as young as you feel. I am 71 but like David I still hold the mindset of a much younger woman. Look at him, still a handsome man. Think young and it does show in your looks, that “You are never 71!” …😀🤘🤘🤘🤘
He is absolutely amazing….such beautiful eyes.
One of the few stars who has no dirty secrets I remember him in an interview where he said Gary glitter always made him feel uneasy.
Absolutely bloody gorgeous 😊😊😊❤
Went to school with David at Shipman road Custom house, 1959.
Silver fox absolutely gorgeous
Have always liked him.
DAVID ESSEX WAS A GREAT SINGER HE WAS SO GOOD LOOKING AND MY FAVOURITE SONG GONNA MAKE YOU A STAR AND HE IS A STAR 💙💙💙
Many many memories of seeing David perform all over the country. Me and my girlies who adored David could write a book! David introduced us to The Real Think when they were his support act and we had our photograph taken with Frank Finley when he did Mutiny on the London stage. Thank you David for helping to make such wonderful memories. Ps. You’re still gorgeous. ❤️
Perfect specimen of a man, with a heart even better. ❤❤
Still handsome and charasmatic!!!!💯👍

All the fun of the fair,an amazing show, the whole cast fantastic!
Saw him at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury where he was wonderful but, I was shocked at how overexcited a lot of quite elderly ladies got when he took his jacket off!!!!!

@@sallyjoan don’t be so rude !
@@alipeacock3685 just telling the truth how it is.
@@sallyjoan appreciate that’s your opinion but not everyone has the same opinion , for me he is still a handsome man , but don’t force my opinions on others .
@@alipeacock3685 i'll write whatever i like actually.
He went to Plaistow Grammar School the same school that my mother went to. The headmaster was none other than JB Priestley
Interesting.
Now a silver fox but those eyes are still awsome ..nice man
"That'll be the day" was a really good film. Quite moving. I didn't think much of the follow up, "Stardust", but I suppose it was a logical continuation of the character's story. A father at 76? I'll have some of whatever He 's on.
Seen him in Perth Australia 1976 i was 16, great concert
Great Looking Englishman
CLICKBAIT!!...David is in very good health!!.......When I was about 10 yrs old in 1973-74 my mum took me to see him at the theatre in London acting in the musical play Godspell,it was fantastic, and coincidentally my wife of 12 years was there too, she`s been obsessed with him for 50 years now.
@mjh5437 I saw the same show when it toured. M class in school in Liverpool went to see it (I think it was at the Liverpool Empire...but could have been the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall) and to this day I can remember most of it. They don't make 'em like that any more!
Omg my mum took me too! We're David Essex siblings!
Hes got the looks ❤❤❤Thankyou
Sill has those twinkling eyes, and always gives his best on show, HOW ABOUT HULL ON THE UP AND COMING TOUR!!
Love him❤
Gorgeous!
My ONLY memory of David Essex is watching him in Godspell. I was in those seats by the stage and at a certain point the cast distributed small glasses of wine. I got mine directly from the hands of Jesus/David Essex. Had I known he would become só famous I would have kept the cup.
I saw him in Godspell too - a clear and unforgettable memory to this day 😅😅😅
He's so gorgeous
Sexy guy for sure, easy to attract the opposite sex to him and good singing too. one of the nice guys of the olden days.
It was his smile 😊
I was lucky to have had a fleeting conversation with him at a photographic studio in London. I was in my early 20’s and have always said that here seemed a ‘right nice geezer’. I could be wrong but I’m sure he started in an east end boozer/club, owned by the Krays. Coming from Stepney way it’s very possible.
❤
⭐️❤⭐️
Silver Dream❤❤
Hes a lovely man..senitta dated him..THOSE EYES ❤❤
@pinky-ud1rt I've no doubt he Is a lovely bloke...but dating Sinitta is no guarantee of that...I mean, she dated Simon Cowell!!!!!😮
Still handsome David. Rock one Lynn lol.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤xxxxxx
he does not look his age he still looks young
Rip 🎉
What rumours?
@janevanreenen8768 I think they are referring to the birth of his child when he was 76. Not much of a "rumour" though. Most of these are like this...they are just clickbait.
@@TheRealist2022I agree. Click bait is always annoying, and a lazy way of creating a headline. In this case it's particularly insulting because they are reporting on a happy event in the life of a good man. Why do some people seem to want to revel in finding bad news everywhere? rhetorical question! - must enjoy being miserable 😂😂
Mental illness and Dementia are horrible conditions..poor David Essex ! .
The rumours are that he is to be a father again at 76, so what are you on about poor David Essex?
Why? I have them both and still have a great life.
(Edit: ah, correction, I was looking to see if there were any replies to my other comment but this time with my spectacles...I do apologise, I thought you had written "Mental Mistress and Dyslexia".)
David Cassidy had the same thing, could not remember his lines when he tried to sing.
Where does it mention dementia ?
Watch it again it tells you he is already a dad again@@martincannon1078
My Auntie who was seventeen in 1974 left me a very strange present. It was in a large, sturdy frame, so before unwrapping I presumed it was a framed photo or a painting...but it instead I found a finely framed pair of light blue Y-fronts (with dark blue edging)! In the corner just beside them is Davids autograph on a ticket. I haven't hung it on any wall in my house. I'm wondering how much I could possibly get for them before all his original fans are gone. Apparently they ARE worn. She pinched them from his Hotel bedroom where her Mother, my Nan, worked. She already had the autograph. How can I proove they belonged to David though? If I can find a photo of him wearing them that's HALF the job. As I said, they were amongst his dirty laundry (but they do LOOK clean!) so maybe there exists a trace of his DNA if my Auntie and her best friend haven't sniffed away every last molecule of any that was on them.
😐 Actually...I don't want to think about what kind of and of WHOSE DNA might be found.
SO, if there are any of his original, loyal, female fans out there reading this - I am open to offers. I don't expect a ridiculous amount for them.
(Maybe I should sell them to a Hard Rock Café, if one exists in Essex....I wonder if there's a David Essex Museum...🤔)
He is still very hansomexx
@StepladdertoSause -That’s a great story and I should imagine only a fan would buy the picture of David’s Y-Fronts on eBay or auction 😁 however if they were pinched from his hotel room could you legally sell them? Maybe contact his agent and offer to give them as a gift back to him ? Good luck !
So good looking love ruthxxxxx
It's ridiculous how fast the sub titles are going i haven't got time to read them.
It's a bad video all round
I don't remember any of this -- just one top 40 hit ( "Rock On") and a couple of minor, music related movies. Maybe the reader should have a British accent.
Do you realise one of the images is not David but a look alike? Chris was on a show called Stars in your eyes' appearing as David!
David Albert Cook. Born 23 July 1947. Not Surprisingly born in the English county of... Essex.
We were ‘old enough to know better’ were we?……. Shut up!!!🙄
Sonny was born in 2015 when David was 67 not 76. sonny is now 9 (2024)
Randy old goat
Respect due 👍
Užas što godine učine od čovjeka.
Ne liči na sebe sada.
he has twin boys as well
I wonder if it is the Gypsy in us that keeps us looking younger than we are?
Christ , he's "of a certain age" dementia is not a great surprise at that age.
So what's the rumours?
He has hinted that he might take up Backgammon again..
@@Isleofskye I'm comming home soon. I'm gonna make you a star ⭐ yeahhhh.
cbs it was reported spent over 1.5 million promoting this fool today 15 million no wonder he was a hit
"What a load of Tosh"!
What makes you think anyone has heard any rumours or cares?
Like Terence Stamp and Peter Gabriel, all still very dishy in their 70's
"Rumours" ?? - Nothing we didn't already know. Just clickbait!
A little selfish, haveing a baby at 76. In reality Dad is not likely to be around for that child, when the child is 18years plus. Yes he may leave money but can not live long enough to be there in person.
It takes two you know.
@@sandragriffiths9692 I doubt his missus cares...when he goes, she'll still have all his cash. Not saying she'll be a multi-millionaire...after all he has kids from other marriages...but she won't be short of a bob or two.
Some people stay sharp, fit, and active into their 90’s so, yes, he could still be there for his youngest son
@@ottowa58my dad is 95 he was 40 when I was born. At that time that was considered older.
RUMOURS
As much as I like the guy and think he is a great performer.... to have a kid at his age is irresponsible... he probably won't be around to be a dad to the kid for that much longer.
David was 66 when he had his last child not 76. So much incorrect info on this!
A man who just get better with age still for me sex on legs , FACT
That; 's good to know.I'm 70,next month and still in the game:)
YUK
@@simondalzell5635 When you get there Simon,it will be very interesting to see what your view is then.
I will be looking down from from The Love Island in the Sky,mon ami...
not fact, you're talking out of your arse.
What is it with these celebs that the men have to marry such young people old enough to be their granddaughters.
It’s not right
The problem with people these days others want to police others on how they live instead of minding their own.
You made a fuss over nothing his wife is 51.
He also has two more sons, which you didn't mention.
They do,cos they can. 😅
I was 24 years older than the Woman that I have seen 1,000 times when I first met her 29 years ago now.
As far as I know,I am still 24 years older than her:)
People did not have swollen mouths and tattoos.
Mate, if you're going to do a video can you please make sure the so called 'facts' you put out, are correct. Because, seriously most of what you've said on this is totally wrong. You have a picture of Christopher Knott & not David @1.42. David became a Father again at 66, not 76, he has 4 grown up Children not 2, the book you show is his novel Faded Glory, not his book of poems which is Travelling Tinker Man . And he's always stated he will not go back to EastEnders. Please do your research correctly
Many thanks for correcting these mistakes, without reading you comment I wouldn't have questioned anything in the video. I was a great fan of his pop career and films, but when I saw him in pantomime, in the early nineties, I think, you will know, someone should have told him that he was there to play the character first and interact with audience, mainly children, second. He was so generous and friendly, constantly stepping outside the narrative, he ended making the performance feel content-less. Best of intentions but ill-judged, my kids, as I remember, shrugged their shoulders when I asked what they thought of it. Terrific performer, just badly directed in this case.
Great guy, he lived in the isle of white, england, he bought a car using a finance company, that i worked for, real down to earth guy, he bought the car before he became really famouse,
