I wish she kept it in Albanian. The language switch and staging was a turn off! So Belgium is next. For every Tom, Roberto, Loïc, Laura, Blanche, and even Sennek, there’s Axel and his mommy issues. 😬
This is my favourite song from 2014. I can't believe it missed out on the final behind acts like Romania, Greece & Azerbaijan (you'll see them soon enough). The only explanation I can think of is the staging, which you mentioned.
please react to Jon Henrik Fjällgren feat. Aninia - En värld full av strider. Finished 3rd in Melodifestival 2017., they've made a huge mistake for sending Robin instead of that masterpiece.
In your free time I would recomend you to watch the postcards from this year, since they were very creative and some of the best we have seen in this contest.
I like 3 things about this entrance: her voice, guitar solo and effect with light. Did you notice that when she was shown in far perspective, rays of lights looked like strings attached to her? That effect looks really interesting to me. But the staging was static, and the song itself - monotonous. Deserved non-qualifier (though Albania has a lot of talented vocalists).
I never heard this entry before and I am positively surprised how good it is. With that being said, it has an unusual sound and structure from most Eurovision entries, which is probably why it failed to connect with the viewers.
Loved this track when I heard her sing it in Albanian - and then they changed it to English and "revamped" it and it didn't sound as good at all. Got a little bit lost in the shuffle that year due to lack of impressive staging as well.
if only this were in Albanian, I think it would have given it extra charm.. a great voice, but, as you said, the staging was limiting her to connect with everything. Looking forward to your next reactions.
Hi Jake! Did you know a lot of the Swedish participants have been in Melfest before? Would be fun to see you react to some of their previous Melfest entries (Only including the artist you have reacted to): Benjamin Ingrosso - Good Lovin’ (2017) Robin Bengtsson - Constellation Prize (2016) Måns Zelmerlöw - Cara Mia (2007) or Hope & Glory (2009) Sanna Nielsen - I'm In Love (2011) and Empty Room (2008) and many more..! Loreen - My Heart Is Refusing Me (2011)
Another Albanian entry that had a lackluster revamp. And the English lyrics sound so awkward. She did a good job with it though. Here is the original version which is rockier ua-cam.com/video/l30HPHvpxso/v-deo.html
I understand that there is a lot of love for this song, post-contest. However,, i really dont get it I find her voice a bit shrill and cold This was not for me and wasn't suprised when it failed to qualify! Sorry Albania😢😢
John Moynahan Me neither ! I don't like her voice AT ALL 😒 Staging was bad, her outfit was straight from 70s, song is ok, kind of dated though.. There's nothing to like about this entry!
i think this was e very high performance for eurosong that's all. thay need something like pop or more usually songs nont a particular ballad as this song is and not a very perfect perfomer like Hersi is.
This was a heavy semi-final with a lot of songs ending up in the final in the top ten coming out of this semi. So bland songs like Estonia and Albania got caught in the crossfire.
There really isn't much positive to say about this performance. The giant platform was pointless and distracting, the music felt disjointed and all over the place and the guitar solo came out of nowhere and really wasn't all that special. I suppose the best thing was her voice, which from a technical level was really good, but I didn't like the sound of it. Maybe it was an accent, but it just sounded like she was singing with food in her mouth. You said you really liked it, but 2nd to last in the semi was a good position for it. Too forgettable and all over the place.
oh c'mon , I'm from Albania and that voice sucks, no power, no color, just a very random voice, so forgetful. Maybe it's just me but with that kind of voice u can't go anywhere, I don't understand how the hell that voice won the Festival here in Albania... just my opinion!
I LOVED THIS SONG!!!!!! Why Albania is so underrated ???
I wish she kept it in Albanian. The language switch and staging was a turn off!

For a non-qualifier this is a great entry. And I think it's pretty memorable.
please react to Jon Henrik Fjällgren feat. Aninia - En värld full av strider. Finished 3rd in Melodifestival 2017., they've made a huge mistake for sending Robin instead of that masterpiece.
Leo K. Yessssss
The original and longer Albanian-language version had rockier elements than the eventual Anglicized revamp version.
2014 was a very competitive year.

Albania 2010 in Eurovision.. dhe was great ! Omg that voice
Finally a new reaction video!!!
if only this were in Albanian, I think it would have given it extra charm.. a great voice, but, as you said, the staging was limiting her to connect with everything. Looking forward to your next reactions.
You should definitely react to Spain 2008 xD
Idm this tbh. My 2nd place in 2014, was actually a non qualifier lmao
I think this is great, but the Albanian version even better :)

Albanian version was much better but still a very solid entry.
Great vocals and an interesting melody.Love it❤
I love this song, so underrated, react to Jon Henrik Fjällgren feat. Aninia - En värld full av strider (melfest 2017)
And for some reason Albania decided to send more or less the exact same song and female screaming machine the following 3 years!! :P

Please react to Switzerland 1956, the first ever Eurovision winner and Turkey 1997
I understand that there is a lot of love for this song, post-contest.
However,, i really dont get it

What do you think about junior eurovision?
Pls pls pls react to Albania 2011 Aurela Gaçe 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 pls
Awesome! Please, react to "Bailar Pegados", by Sergio Dalma to Eurovision 1991 from Spain :)
I never got the anger never got the love - just went through me
Hey Jake please react to Israel that year, Mei slayed so hard and she was one of the fan favorites but sadly she didn't qualify :(
He'll get to it. At the rate we're going (one 2014 song per day) it should be up on Sunday.
i think this was e very high performance for eurosong that's all. thay need something like pop or more usually songs nont a particular ballad as this song is and not a very perfect perfomer like Hersi is.
What the hell.I mean didnt conchita stay in one place and just switched face positions??
Please can you react to Legends by Asanda UK 2018, they should of sent thaty instead of Surie
Sleepiest song that year
sounds reminiscent to The Cranberries
Is that tattoo real ?😳 from her postcard
no, it isn't real
Please, react Albania 2010 Eurovision song
In my opinion people are overreacting about Israel, this was the most underrated in 2014
Albania 2010/11 Please
Please react to Norway 2008!
This was a heavy semi-final with a lot of songs ending up in the final in the top ten coming out of this semi. So bland songs like Estonia and Albania got caught in the crossfire.
The song has a pleasant melody but it's just so random and goes a little bit too much everywhere. There's no central theme to it.
Hi. Could you please react to Eurovision of Poland 2003?
Why didn’t you react to all of the instant requests???!!!!?!?!????
JoJo T.
Can you imagine how much that is?😲
@you know No i mean those he promised to react
I usually like the songs from Albania, but I don’t think that the rocky guitarr riffs fits this song att all. The singer is good, though.
