I'm studying economics now and you managed to teach me geometry in a way that I never learned in high school. Before it seemed impossible for me to understand and now it just makes total sense. I don't know if I'm going to use this in my life but thank you so much for making me understand, I always felt dumb for not being able to learn and now that weight has come off my shoulders. Thank you so much for being awesome!

This might be my favorite video of yours yet. The teaching videos are great. And I love how softly you whisper. Some artists tend to whisper too loudly right into the mic or have the volume too loud and it makes it lose its effect. You seem to know exactly how to do it. Keep up the good work.
This one guy that actually paid attention, yes there is an easier solution. Given that you have already proven the triangles are the same it stands that. AB/CF=AE/EF=BE/CE SF = 2.5, we can now apply the SF to the other sides. AB = 12 => CF=AB/SF=12/2.5=4.8 BE + CE = 8 We know that BE is 2.5 times the length of CE from SF => BE = 2.5*CE => 2.5*CE + CE = 8 => 3.5*CE = 8 => CE = 8/3.5 = 2.29 => BE = 8 - 2.29 = 5.71 Answer: CF = 4.8, CE = 2.29, BE = 5,71 Same answer, just a bit easier to solve when you apply the scaling.
In the 5:00 , there is a easier whay to solve it without Cosine. So here is the thing: Against 90degrees lays down 12 and against 60degrees lays the HALF of 12, that means a is 6.

The key to geometry proofs is that if it looks like it’s true, then it is true. I literally got an A in geometry running off that principle.
