    As someone who is a complete moron, got a C in my maths and chose to do a computing degree involving programming requiring these matrixes, this helps. This is actually one of the things I find easiest.

    I love this new format! We have a better view of the screen, and idk, it's more relaxing. Thanks for your videos, I learn stuff AND i get to fall asleep to the sweet sound of the Apple pen scratching away at the iPad.

    I finished my engineering degree last year and have been in the industry since. Going over stuff I've heard before like this, as well as the sounds, and your voice, all are perfect for helping me fall asleep

      @jacksonallan3557 definitely :) I hated my first job but now I have a really good one. My job feels like it has a purpose, which makes me satisfied in my work, and it is always a good challenge, so I am never bored. I dont work any overtime, my benefits are good, and it funds all my hobbies, including traveling :)

    I teach "strategic math" to 7th graders. I'm totally using this in my class.
    The tingles/relaxation level is phenomenal with this video.

    I dropped maths (bc I had English and Biology as my majors), so never got around to learned matrizes.
    Good to see it's still just numbers, with their handling going from "okay, ez" to "weird" all the way to "BUT WHY, THO?".

    I got my bs in mathematics four years ago... I miss it. Currently getting an mph in epidemiology/biostatistics and the math isn’t as fun 😂😭 this was nice to watch!

    To calculate the det of a 3x3 you can use sarrus rule 😁 42:58

    Zsolt. Nagyszerű a teszt, egyre jobb vagy. Örülök, hogy kitértél a volte, vowifi funkciókra. Mondjuk Samsungoknál ezek evidensek, de más telefonoknál, pl Xiaomiknál, főleg a vowifi nem annyira egyértelmű.

    Your videos have been really helpful for me. I'm finally starting college 6 years after i graduated high school and I know that bc of my HS transcripts I have to redo my high school math courses(thanks Mr teacher for not putting a proper letter grade and screwing me over in my future). These were great refreshers. Especially now that my brain can actually grasp the concepts as compared to my 16 yr old brain.

    Really enjoying these. Brings me back to transitioning from doing my homework on paper and scanning them to PDFs to doing them on my Microsoft Surface Pro 4 during my Masters program.
    Any plans to venture into Thermodynamics problems? That would be something I'd watch repeatedly, as I have the most need to remember it.

    idk if you would see this but I just wanted to point out a fact
    I'm doing economics and during my mathematic course we were taught to use Sarrus for the 3x3 matrix while doing the determinant not laplace (the one you're using)
    idk if it's for the different major or for the different professor but I just wanted to point it out!

    Did you try to use the screen-record-option of the iPad? Don't know about your version but mine has one and the display would probably be more visible. On the other hand it feels more personal the way you're filming.

    Maybe you could do a video on eigenvalues, eigenvectors and the Jordan canonical form. That would be great. Personally I could calculate with them but was never really able to understand what exactly eigenvalues represent in an abstract way, perhaps you have an explanation.

    I LOVE your vids, but I'm curious about the way you take the pen; i usually hold it with the tips of my index and thumb, and use my middle finger as support. You just surround it with your fingers and i think that's so fun

    So how does calculating the determinant change as you increase the matrix size. Let me guess, to solve for 4x4 you have to do the alternating signs thing then block off the row and columns to get a 3x3 matrix then do the calculation for a 2x2 matrix until you inevitably acquire the determinant? Idk the answer I’m just asking is this how it works as the matrix’s size increases, I’m curious to know how they solve for infinitely larger matrices.
