If it sells well, I hope it can be purchased at our LCSs

I am actually on the fence right now about backing issue 2 on kickstarter right now. It sounds like a relatable concept. Haven’t read issue 1, but I think it’s worth giving a shot. I’ll probably donate enough to get both issues.

I bought issue 1 in person at HeroesCon. There's a triple page foldout spread that makes the whole cost worth it lol

@@comicsaredope I did it. I figured why not. I ponied up for the artist and writer signatures as well. Thanks for sharing this brother.

If they trust the quality of the comic, it's time for them to lust it in Previews and let the LCS sales decide.

@@CayoHern All due respect, that's not quite how it works. The direct market often does not cater to premium printed single issues as far as price goes. There would need to be an entirely new print run made at a quality more sustainable for all of the profit cuts between the creator to the distributor, then distributor to the shop. And even as far as that's concerned, shops don't base their decisions strictly off of how good something looks. There are a plethora of factors that go into a shop buying a book, and the quality of the product is just a piece of the pie. Coming from a relative unknown, entering the comic shop market would require a massive marketing push, which is a huge time investment beyond what's already required to crowdfund--which is often overwhelming as it is.
