This is awesome! Very helpfull video! I just recieved my yellow van and cant wait to do some custom work on it
These things are so much fun!
Your builds are always spectacular.
And especially your wheels are so gorgeous.
Well thank you! I only copied some that I saw on a Japanese site so I am hopeful I made the original designer proud!
@@AMPROEngineering I know that they are based on real 1:1 scale wheels, but a lot of effort from your side goes into recreating them 👌
Would love to see, what you would come up with, with a WPL B24!
I need to look more at those for sure.
This is really cool, the wheels look great, the details are on point. I just discovered these WPL little vehicles and it's amazing what people do with them.
Thanks! I really love them.
Love the attention to detail 🙏✝️☮️
Thank you!
Really nice upgrade.
Thank you!
amazing RC car, very nice work
Thanks a lot. It was a fun build.
Nice!
I’m building a real 4x4 85 Toyota van to take to Joshua Tree.
I have a bunch of WPL stuff that I have added TONS of LEDS too and have to say that it’s so much more fun than wiring the real thing. 😂
Great videos as always.
Keep it up.
Oh hell yes! I love those.
Great build, as always! I love how the door panels/arm rests came out. I put an ebay interior in my TRX-4 Defender and had similar issues with the dash lighting. It makes me feel better when it is not just me 😉
Well we all gotta learn somewhere! The only way to get it right is to get it wrong a few times first. hahahah!
@@AMPROEngineering very true 👍
Did you mention how you wired/powered the tail lights or I just missed it? 🤔
Awesome build! I love how detailed we can go with these models. You are really an inspiration for others! 👍😁
Great question! I wired them to the power switch so they turn on when you turn on the car. Thank you!
@@AMPROEngineering thank you! :)
Looks good 👍 😊
Thanks man.
Nice job. 👍
Thanks so much!
Such a great build! 😄
Thank you!
This is a great product the only flaw I have found is my torsion bar at first had enough tension to articulate and pick the weight of the van back up over time it would not pick up the van but how I fixed this, I bought the front shock mounting kit and I put some RC 43 mm shocks with the internal spring on it. They come with three different spring tensions and I use the middle one I have the flex I used to have but it's got enough strength to pick the front end back up. I've heard that wpl products are toy grade and basically essentially junk. Well I've had many products over the years and that is just not so I've had no other trouble besides the front torsion bar being weak I love my d42 fpv van
Oh good info! I happen to love WPL products. Early ones were so bad they quickly improved their products. I have tons of miles on my C24, C36 and C54, plus my D12 is driven almost daily on the office burrito run.
Looks awesome! How’d you fit the figures inside?!
Thank you! These are actually out of scale. They are 6" figures when they should be 7" figures but they fit well and it wasnt worth the headache. Some feet and legs are trimmed but it was good enough.
How about the "original" Ampro striping on the sides of the van? 😉😘
I had planned that and then I got tired. Haha!
Does your d42 have the new esc fitted?I believe the earlier ones do not have enough plugs.Love the dash lights.
Regards
Ian
I saw that. I think this is the early one which is why i had to wire the rears off the power switch.
Lol first! All kidding aside, I Love your work!
Thank you!
Very cool!
I love this van!
@@AMPROEngineering that little jump at the end very "Fall Guy!" 😁👌
If I remember, the Bedford rascal was a green but more yellow for the dashboard.
I think you would know way more than I would!
Hey ampro what is the best of the d series? the D12 or D42
Totally based on your preference. I would say the D12 is a better one to drive as the CG is much lower and it has a longer wheel base. The van is amazing but I am always scared it will roll over.
Neat!!
Thank you!
What happened to your UDR
It is well! I used a lot of it to rebuild a destroyed one so now mine is mostly aluminum. Ill show a video on both soon.
Good day! Can you post the link of the emblems? Thank you
Sure, Posted in description!
Does it support shipping to the Philippines? Or can i buy the file and get it 3D printed here?
Up
Where are you getting your figures?
I search "6 inch used figures" on ebay. Most of those were under $5
👍
Thank you!
Where do I get the rims and tires for
I have seen them all over ebay.
