I think knowing where to play isn‘t the problem. The problem is being able to play where you would have wanted in time. Quick thinking and having the vision is the most important thing.
Great video man. I also think you should have noted how even sometimes the pros at the highest level make mistakes, and that sometimes you might be able to predict a better play than what they end up executing 👌🏽
Agreed. We also have the luxury of pausing and talking ourselves through a scenario. Granted, we’re doing it to learn but the pros don’t get to pause and look around at the video! Haha “must be nice!”
thanks for the great video! I was trying to find a way to improve myself on the pitch but i could never really see myself getting better at some point but this video gave me the exact tip I was looking for:)
Very good advice to analyse the videos and try to guess the decisions-making of the professionals. Very rare, though, the positional references measured in yards! 🤣
I watch Busquets. That has always been my position. What I started doing watching his videos and practicing my turns, one touch, positioning. The wall helped me a lot on my touch.
You´re giving me so many opportunities to sound like I know what I`m talking about when I talk to my 9 year old daughter about football. Thanks for that!
Hey Matt great video! Do u have any advice for players who are trying to get more physical and stronger but also don't want to get too big that it negatively impacts their athletic performance.
Adding muscle and size is such a slow process, you don’t need to worry about getting too big too fast. Add muscle, add strength, add size and you’ll slowly get to your ideal weight. If you come to find you’re starting to get too big then just go on a cut and lose the weight.
Waiting to see you vs Los Dos! Greetings from SoCal! We tune in every weekend to see your matches! Hope everything is alright that last red was way harsh!
Should you try to improve your speed of “decision making” as you get better at this.(how long you pause each time) or is it better to really analyze every situation really deeply (like you did)
I've been moved to striker/left-wing despite playing keeper only for a few years and I'm struggling. I'm a men's league and have only been playing football for a few years, my ability and skill with the ball is pretty sub-par. My positioning is alright but my vision is great. I can get into good space and I know when and where to get the ball from that, but I don't have the skill to produce anything from it which is really frustrating. I also find it hard to focus in games and my general awareness of the ball is limited so I resort to lashing out at the ball and just try to just focus on kicking the ball instead of taking a touch and looking around. Do you have any advice?
Dribble around cones. I started playing as an adult and that is the one thing I started doing too late. It mainly gives you confidence with the ball, but that is huge. Matt’s 3x3 program is great for tight space work.
Work on your feet try to get fast feet by doing drills there are tons i know and could even send you the link if you want so... Once you master it you will be a dancer on the ball.
Just found this channel this is the first video but im amazed. I'll definetely try it out although im a goalkeeper so its kinda different but on 1-on-1s for example it could be useful. I thought of that same thing just in live matches but ofc you cant pause thats the only difference
W vid thank you Matthew I love these type of videos, could you please make a video on how to beat defenders 1v1 how to defend 1v1 and how to play quick and how to make combinations with teammates like one twos
Hey Matt, gr8 vid as always. Can u like do a vid on how to condition, train, and perform at the highest physical levels with high heat and humidity? I hears it's pretty brutal there in the summer in South Carolina. 🥵
Hey Matt, gr8 video! Do u have any advice for players like me who are playing in the high school/academy level & wanna get to the top level how to make contacts which are going to help us get contracts in future & how to identify that this person can help me in long run?
Watch and feel 'The Rhythm of the Game' - time to defend, time to pressure, hold and probe, pass and tire them, go for Goals. As a Centre Back I once watched the Opposition attack and knew it wasn't time in 'The Rhythm of the Game' for them to score so I just stood and watched them from the edge of the Area as they shot, shot again, hit the post, and knocked the ball wide. My Coach was furious with me - but I knew!!
4:21 min in video: why delay when there are more defender's than attacker's on that moment? You should give pressure in my opinion because the attacker is forced to give a pass or dribble in less time what 9 out of 10 times result in having the ball back again. If you're defense is 1 on 1 you should delay to give your teammates the chance to reposition again.
Hey, awesome video very informative and helpful! Off topic but what do you think about the Colorado Springs Switchbacks because I was at that game when the Battery played them and I’d like to know your thoughts on them?
I swear every time Become Elite and 7mlc upload at the same time. They definitely have some agreement to upload at the same time.
They are the best in the field of football education
what about all attack@@user.505-m5c
They are teammates
I upload football iq tests (check out my channel)

Awesome! what a fun task to watch a game and pause to predict actions. Love it :)
Love how you make these analyze videos, it’s simple but helps and improves your game, great vid 🙌
thanks for the great video! I was trying to find a way to improve myself on the pitch but i could never really see myself getting better at some point but this video gave me the exact tip I was looking for:)
This is by far the best football/soccer channel. Genius tips.
Very good advice to analyse the videos and try to guess the decisions-making of the professionals. Very rare, though, the positional references measured in yards! 🤣

Hey Matt great video! Do u have any advice for players who are trying to get more physical and stronger but also don't want to get too big that it negatively impacts their athletic performance.
Yes!!! Every time i train legs i cant run for 3 days. Even when i train lightly

What would be like the ideal weight for a 188 cm tall CB/midfielder? Is 75 kg too low?
@@BecomeElite Thank you!

start doing mental training, meditation and visualization, it will really help you be more focused, be sharper and play quicker 🙌
Congrats on half a million Matt, banger UA-cam video as always!
This is very good because as soon as you get the ball you make the best decision since you are learning from the best.
Well done! Keep it up 👍🏿
thanks mate this is gonna help me a lot
great video dude
Congrats on 500k subs you deserve it so much
I play anything forward, mostly LW or CAM, but this guy made my RB IQ so good because of his analysis on players that play RB or himself lol
Excellent analysis
Your videos are amazing thank you so much you really helped me improve a lot
Great stuff! I love predicting passes when I'm watching football. .
Congrats on 500k! You deserve it

Hey Matt. I love your contents. Love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
I enjoyed doing this along side Matt. Next step would be to try to predict the play faster and faster….just like the pros in a live situation?
I waiting for your reaction on pavard goal. Anyhow congrats on 500 k 🎉🎈
Same! How do you pick this game and this player and not at least show it?? Great video though.
Any advice on how to get better at decision making? and making said decisions faster?
Thank you for this video ❤
Wow, 500k subs. Great video Matt

Bro good advice don't stop
I love how this can be applied to other things like esports such as valorant, it makes so much sense but not many people really do this
be a real man
Just did a tactical session likke this! thanks for advise
Nice insight. Pausing and predicting is not something i thought of before. Normally I'd just watch and analyse as i go (implicit learning, i guess)
this helped me so much thank you
Loved your thumbnail 🔥
Nice, this also works for vision i think because you have to think fast
nice video
Really helpful video❤❤
thank you for the video dude
Wsp matt, love your vids. Can you make a video explaining how subs and reserves work at the pro level?
Congrats on 500 thousand

Well done for 500k Matt. I loved this video and am just about to go try it for myself.
The videos I look forward to 😌
This is like a Gold standard tutorial video ... and always soothing to hear an American call the beautiful game Football..😅

As a winger which match is the best for me to analyse any ideas 💡 please
