I've had a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 392. Kept it for about 6 months & got rid of it for a 2024 Bronco Raptor. I really like them both, but for me, the Bronco Raptor is the one. I'm not a small guy & the Bronco just has more room inside. Granted the Hemi in a Jeep is insane & stupid fun for that type of vehicle. I only have one for a daily, so I chose the Bronco Raptor, plus I live in the desert. Just my opinion, however I do REALLY like the Jeep A LOT. You'll never hear me talk crap on either, plus I still wave at Jeep folks in my Bronco... LOL!!!
😂😂 that’s so funny, I have had so many Jeeps wave at the Bronco Raptor. I feel like we are the same people and it shows. Thanks for sharing your experience!
@springfield417 Nothing wrong with that, brother. If I feel like driving something with power, I'll just jump in my 2014 Mustang, named booger. Made 1226 hp to the wheels on 20 lbs. No need to turn it up any more than that. Just a fun little street car.
I’ve owned 17 jeeps and I love jeeps in my most recent he 2023 jeep 392 and I built it all up with all the high-end goodies, I got bored with Jeep hi tester of bronco raptor and purchase one, it was beyond comfortable and super fun and exciting to drive the 392 lots of power loud But on a long trip and I do a lot of long trips up to the mountains the Jeep just wore me out, the bronco raptor I had zero driver fatigue, then I got rid of the bronco raptor (long story) and went back to jeep that was an expensive mistake now I’m back with bronco raptor and I love it, it’s incredible if you want a 37 1350 tire it gives it a little wider stance and handles better I also raise the front end approximately an inch and a half or a little more and raise the backend and the thing comes to life and handles excellent on the road and once you learn to dial in all your settings and use the ‘R’ button, People think the bronco raptor is big but it’s not it feels small to me and that’s only because I drive big vehicles, it toes great I tow A modified off-road teardrop trailer and it tows excellent especially on the roadway doing 55 miles an hour on winding roads where the jeep 392 for example was all over the road it stressed me out when I had cars behind me but the bronco I can fly around corners with the trailer and it tracks perfectly my pick would be bronco raptor, I’m not sure about reliability and quality of the build in the long run, when there’s problems jeep I would assume is so much easier to work on than the bronco but once you get to know the bronco and know where everything‘s at and learn how it all works I think it could be fixed easy. I do recommend keeping an eye out on the actuators for the four-wheel-drive because they are vacuum operated mine cracked and other people of had problems there’s a way to bypass them for an emergency and I think any off router should learn how to do that if they’re purchasing one. Thanks for the good review👍👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks so much for sharing your experience, we have had a lot of the same impressions. I'm glad to hear you have the best machine to suite your needs now! Thanks for watching!
I'd go with a Bronco everyday. Most people who go off-roading, are weekend warriors or have one or two big trips a year, but still need the capabilities to want to enjoy their vehicle as a daily driver AND to experience mild to almost difficult trails. Hardcore off-roading, such as rock crawling, Wrangler everyday.
I’ve driven both I love the 392 you just can’t beat the exhaust sound! The Bronco Raptor has a cool look to it I just can’t stand the sound of that engine.. now if Ford put a 5.0 in it now we’re talking!
Had both the 392 and currently own a BRaptor. I have the the same opinion. The 392 is a great SUV with a nice drivetrain. The BRaptor is closer to a super truck though, it hits all the buttons when competing with all the new technology trucks, where the 392 felt like all the other wranglers I've owned. it just felt outdated. If the BRaptor came with a V8 coyote, there wouldn't be a question. As it sits, the BRaptor out classes the 392 overall with the new ProCal re-flash from Ford. (+40hp +100tq)
I love my new 392 but my every day car is a 2023 Lexus. GX 460. Totally agree. You don’t want to be the Superman all the time. Sometimes it’s nice to be Clark Kent!
The jeep has such an iconic look, especially the way yours is setup. With the V8 it's an absolute beast and sounds amazing. That said, I'm shopping for a Braptor. I have 2 smaller kids I intend to take with me. I want to drive this thing all the time. I think the Braptor just ends up offering so much more as an overall vehicle you can live with.
@@GodspeedZRZwell shit I hope so. You have to get long arms only though they are a night and day difference. Second to none they are the biggest modification you can get for a solid axle vehicle but the way you wheel I know you would really get a lot of use out of them
Bang for the buck. The bronco is worth the price tag the time you build a jeep Wrangler and get that going. You rather buy a bronco. The only thing jeep has done was put the 392 in it the bronco really blew it out of the water with this one with the raptor. I own a Jeep gladiator Rubicon and a bronco raptor I would take the raptor over the raptor over the jeep any day out of the factory. Jeep needs to step up their game.
I have to disagree. I have a 2024 Rubicon 392, and with the upgrades mechanically and to the interior, I don’t think you could be more wrong on that one. All I’ve done is add 37 inch tires, which the suspension and body accept without any issues. The interior on the 24 Rubicon 392 way surpasses the bronco. Having said all that, I think Godspeed’s assessment was dead on: You have a daily driver, Rub 392 all the way. You only have one, it has to be the Bronco. There is no way I would want to drive my wrangler on a daily basis, and especially not on a long trip. It’s a great fun extra vehicle to have. My daughter has loved using it this summer when she’s been home from college. And that gives a Dad great enjoyment as well.
I like the bronco better. but the jeep is better to keep if you can have just 1 and you already have a daily driver. The 392 supposedly is on its last production run. Can always go out and get another raptor, but the 392s are not going to be available in the future (most v8s arent really). So if I had both, I would keep the 392 as its more scarce and hence more difficult to replace.

What about to compare Y61 4,8 and Y62 5,6 NISSAN PATROLS? It's a very similar matter but actually not the same because Y61 PATROL can even be handled on road a more better, safer with similar high quality modifications than the Wrangler, when it comes to practicality it's more practical and also more spacious than a Rubicon 392, when it comes to offroad there are only two well-known disadvantages, Y61 has a little bit less ground clearance because of bigger diffs and also Wrangler handles easier with crossing solid axles mainly because there are lighter and commonly have more space around the tyres. I know what to write a lot more, even with Y62 compare to Rubicon or Bronco, or Y61 compare to Bronco but I don't have time for that, it would took a lot of time, the best way is to compare them in the absolutely same offroad conditions next to each other with the same modifications or at least almost the same modificatons but the same type of tyres.
