How To Remove Henna From Your Hair Naturally

- I accidentally dyed my hair brown using a red henna. I am a natural redhead, with more of an orange Hue and normally use the bright red when I want to enhance my color. This time I used the light red and for whatever reason it accidentally dyed my hair brown. I used this all natural, non-toxic and completely harmless method to remove the Indigo, which made the brown color, from my hair and to turn it red once again!
i love your energy, clementine! you are so pure, and couldn't stop watching because your voice and aura were very relaxing. thank you for your advice. ❤️
I only have experience removing indigo (the black and brown colors) the red henna remained, but I was fine with that, I was going for more red to my already red. I just didn't want dark... brown black... the Vitamin C and coconut oil took out the black brown beautifully.
Did your hairs fall after doing that
@@gummy.yummybear I don't understand your question... my hair did not fall out if that is your question. All the products were natural, including the Henna. Sadly I do know a lot of women currently losing a lot of hair, apparently a side effect to their vaccines they took, according to them.
@@ClementinesChannel hi madam thanks for your answer this august i dyed My hair with black henna and i wanna know if i can turn from henna in hair coloring chestnut
@@gummy.yummybear you can try!¡!
Never apply any chemicals on henna, it goes in chemical reaction with it making hair burn from the inside. I've just recently done that mistake and applied henna on my hair for the first time ever and holy shit I hate it. What's been working for me is firstly straighten the hair to open the cuticles. Spray hair thoroughly 1 measure of coca cola mixed with 4 measures of water and then apply coconut oil. Why coca cola? It contains phosphoric acid which helps to get rid of the dye. As you apply the oil backcomb the hair so that the oil gets inside the hair. Put cling film all over hair and put a towel on it. Keep as long as you can (you can sleep in it). After that time I wash hair with head&shoulders interchangeably with a purifying citrus shampoo, as many times as required to get rid of the oil. Then I apply a henna mask Natural Classic Henna Hair Treatment Conditioner (it's great for hair growth and doesn't dye hair). I have done it twice and there was a lot of orange water going. The color is muuuuch less offensive and my hair is not damaged at all. This should be done around 2/3 times a week until desired result. You're welcome
Thank you so much for your useful video. Hope to view more and more video
Your so cooool 🤩 Thankyou for the help ^\^
Thank you Clementine!! You are as beautiful as your name :)
You're too kind!
I'm gonna try to do this today. I sometimes dye the right side of my head black with indigo but I want my hair back to a bright plain red.
Are you sure that it was the "light red" color from light mountain because I looked at that one and it doesn't have indigo in it.
You're correct. It may have been the Red Amber Spice one with the Butterfly. If it does not have Indigo you'll be fine and not get a darker impression of color deposited to the hair.
Just happened to me. Never again will I use light mountain. Terrible - I got dark green brown from light brown.
yep my hair is still slightly green now after about a year! let’s just say my hairdresser wasn’t impressed 😆😆
Oh No! Ya, I remember someone doing black and getting green before on their brown hair, ugg! It is excellent for darker red on lighter red as long as there is no "Indigo" in the ingredients and it is super strengthening and nourishing for the hair as well. But I have seen this green thing happen first hand, so that's a bummer. If you need darker red on lighter hair it is GOLDEN.
Is it damaging for the hair? I dyed my hair with Indigo henna but my two front pieces turned out really dark and I'd like to get that colour out a bit
It is a natural way to take that out.

@@ClementinesChannel thank you so much for the quick response 🐳. Can I use mixed supplements or does it have to be vitamin c. I have supplements that contain 40mg of vitamin c
Did it remove any of the orange henna?
no I don't believe so however my hair is naturally orange so it would be difficult for me to tell
Who, in the audience, has actually used this procedure and had good results? Please. I’m desperate.
Hope it all worked out. I was desperate too and can only speak from my experience but it did work for me to get the dark color / brown color out and get back to auburnish red at that time.
does it work with black henna?
I don't think so :( try calling customer service for White Mountain Henna (I think that's what they're called...) they're helpful
😊😊😊
So acid then, thanks
did it wash out after 1 wash?
Yes but it was still very brown, no red, so then I did this procedure instead.
I washed it but it didn't wash out. It was still all brown, no red, so then I did this procedure instead.
@@ClementinesChannel so if i do this, how long do you think it will take for my hair to go back to normal, or how many times do you think i would need to do this for it to go back to normal
Can I use lemon !
Lenin would be very clarifying so maybe :) it is certainly worth a try and it definitely has a ton of vitamin C in it
Lemon lightens your hair and dries it out really badly. Keep that in mind. It’ll turn it very brassy
It's definitely something that doesn't work
I only have experience removing indigo (the black and brown colors) the red henna remained, but I was fine with that, I was going for more red to my already red. I just didn't want dark... brown black... the Vitamin C and coconut oil took out the black brown beautifully. It definitely worked on my hair to remove Indigo (black/brown) You may not be able to remove red... I have no experience with removing red
Personally didnt work for me !
Oh no :( so you used the same henna and then used coconut oil and this same Vitamin C and it didn't wsh the indigo out?
Also keep in mind a lot of these products that call themselves henna really are not, they're more like a semi-permanent dye or a die and they might have just a little bit of henna in there to help smooth the hair. The one I use is 100% henna,, one ingredient, and the vitamin C and coconut oil we're targeting only the indigo in the plant to help wash out the brownish blackish color. I wanted the red color to stay on top of my natural red... I also did it the day after I died it, so I don't know if that mattera or not... I had already washed out the henna that left my hair blackish brownish green and was stuck with it as far as I could tell, until I did the coconut oil and vitamin C and it worked better than I expected
Lastly I should say I have virgin hair, I don't put any products in my hair besides that 1 ingredient henna. To wash my hair I use coconut oil and then wash with all natural Bronners, so I am sure a lot of these factors matter... was it actual pure henna you used? Does it cling more to treated hair making this procedure ineffective? Does the vitamin C I used work? Some are just a buch of powdered crap, this is straight up vitamin C... lots of variables for sure. I hope you got your color back how you want it :)
@@ClementinesChannel I didnt use the same vitiman c but a similar one that i found at my local chemist. They don't sell the one you showed in australia.
@@ClementinesChannel it must be the fact that you did it the next day as I dyed mine with pure henna a few months ago and want to remove it now as i have regrowth
Not at all.
