I vote for the rose garden
I always enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing your gardening tips with us. Your garden is beautiful. I am in southern Ohio.
Welcome
Everything looks so pretty!! I think the verbena would look beautiful in the rose garden.
Thank you for the detailed maintenance of your garden. It is so helpful for beginners.
Welcome
I live in zone 5b and my alliums multiply and come back every year. I do spray for deer but missed a week and lo n’ behold over the weekend they came thru and trimmed my roses, hostas, astilbe and Boom Chocolatta geraniums.
Oh no !!
Zone 6A, my alliums come back every year. Love it! I need some globe masters. Love the your alliums with the roses.
I think I am to warm for them to come back and bloom
Hi Kim, I live in VA, zone 7b, my alliums come back every year; they don’t like to be in moist areas, so i mix sand and soil when i plant them. Also, for your deer issue, try planting alfalfa in a big container in your perimeter; they’ll eat that and hopefully stay away from your other plants. Alfalfa regrows pretty fast.
Thanks
In my experience alliums prefer part sun/ part light shade. They tend to burn up if exposed to extended periods of full sun.
You are so lucky to have a vibrant well stocked garden center near you. Lucky Lucky Lucky.
Yes. I’m lucky
That big weed is called Poke Salad and I heard that you can eat it.
Oh really well I would have lots of Poke Salad
enjoyed video, it was very helpful. thanks for sharing. hope you have a great day
You too
Your garden looks so beautiful your doing a great job iam in Vancouver Bc and we’re zone 7-8 our Alliums do come back here
I live in 6a/7b and my alums come back and multiply.
Rose garden would be my choice if you think you would be able to see it over the boxwoods.
Really amazing views, happy watching
❤ leave your allium bulbs in ground they will come back & multiply. I am in zone 8b Thomaston GA USA and mine do since I moved into my house 2 yrs ago...they were already here. Love you and your show ❤ Deborah Toole Thompson
Nice to know. I’ll try leaving them in the ground
I have heard of a little sprinkler system or even light that comes on when the deer approaches. I have not tried it but I have heard it works well.
I would love to try the sprinkler but I I would need to figure out how to get water to it.
Have you thought about trying putting the albums in the fridge a couple months and replanting later? Also you should consider sanitizing clippers between roses. I lost three roses to rose roset last year.
Allium not albums. Opps
Yes I should sanitize my pruners. I usually do in the winter
I thought you liked the bio advance rose and plant food. I just bought another container. I will use this bottle but if you haven’t seen a difference I will switch rose fertilizers. Hope the maxsea works better for you. Keep us posted.
I used that product religiously last year. I’m not sure it made a huge difference. Trying Maxsea this year for the blooms
Both rose and cottage! ❤
Haha. Agree.
Jenny with Creekside recommends Fertilome for Japanese Beetles. (?)
Tried it. Didn’t work for me.
💖🌸👍🏻🌸💖
My allium came back🤍
You just passed up the Rose & feed in the other brand.
I spent so much money on that product last year. I have some left like 5 bottles. I need to use it up. I’m not sure it made a huge difference. How about you? Do you think it made a big difference in your garden?
Can’t you just buy some kind of feed for the deer to eat so they’re not starving and then they won’t eat your plants
I’m very tempted to
I prefer not to use anything made composted from human waste like the municipal water.
