Nice work man! If I may give you a tip. You could use the Shape Builder (Shift+M) also for pathfinder motives. So if you want to combine 2 shapes into one, the sahepbuilder makes it lots easier!
At the beginning, how do you automatically make a rectangle the width of the circle for the head? In fifteen years of using Illustrator I can't believe I've never seen that before!

Hey, thank you for subscribing! One tip is to go to fashion/clothing sites and check out models or clothes for reference, they usually photograph them in dynamic poses.

What shortcut are you using to replicate or action on the other side?
I'm actually using the Pen tool to draw the other side as well, but I've cut the video as I wanted to speed things out - hope this helps :)

Hey, jyst using the pen tool, placed a bottom point at the same height and the closed the shape. Hope this helps!
