- In todays video I journey to Nickajack Lake outside of Chattanooga to explore the lake fully and do some bass fishing. In the process of exploring this lake and river I learn that it is one of the grassiest lakes in Tennessee. It was a ton of fun filming this video and I hope you guys enjoy. What lake should I go to next in Tennessee?
Dale hollow.
@@jaywagner13 Dale is definitely on the list after the turn over!
@@MusicCityAngler I would like to see you attack it before turnover because it resembles lakes back home. But I understand otherwise. Great editing on your videos. Keep up good work.
@@jaywagner13 I appreciate it! Well if the turn over holds off for a few weeks then I’ll be able to go. This weekend I’m busy and next weekend is Pickwick. But, I think the turn over will happen in a couple days.
Great video. enjoyed it!! Nicka jack lake is my favorite to fish!! Tight lines!!
Heck yeah I appreciate it. I tried channeling my inner you up river and was only semi successful ha.
Your editing is top tier. Great work
Heck yeah I appreciate it Reggie! Ready for us to get back on the water and create somre fire content.
You should have fished below the dam under the spill ways. There are some good rock piles out there.
Nice video. You can't beat Nickajack Lake. It can be tricky, but has lots of potential.
I agree. I honestly don’t know a whole lot about grassy fisheries like Nickajack but once I figured out a pattern it was a ton of fun.
Like to see you fish lake Ocoee/Parksville
That might be on the list to check out soon. I have a bud that fishes that lake a lot.
Man, you make awesome videos.
Heck yeah I appreciate it man! That means a lot.
couple thoughts: a LOT of those slashes, wakes, hits in the weed mats are gar. when it's a bass, they tend to really take it. least it works that way for me. and of course: easy to boatflip 4/5 pounders on these waters as they don't all look 'that big' after a while.
Okay the gar thing makes a lot of sense I just didnt realize they do that in grass mats. I am not used to grass fishing like that because Im in Nashville area. Also I don't catch a lot of 4/5 pounders because I suck at fishing ha.
Have you ever tried Tims Ford lake?
Oh yeah. Recently did a video on it!
Hey man I just saw you on Percy Priest Percy I hope you get some fish tomorrow in the tournament
Haha I’m not fishing in the tournament tomorrow. I do drone footage and act as a camera boat for a bit. I’m the school advisor for Lipscomb.
Pickwick is an interesting lake if you haven't tried it yet. Just out of curiosity, what day did you shoot this video?
I shot it on Saturday. Pickwick is cool I have an "uncle" that lives out there I plan on visiting soon.
Oil that damn reel!!!
Bahahahhahahah. Some of my reels needed some TLC.
I would say Reelfoot is more grassy than Nickajack.
Thats a lake I have never been too. I have always wanted to go there. Can you put a fiberglass boat in it?
@@MusicCityAngler No, I would not put a fiberglass boat in there.
Have you ever tried Tims Ford lake?
I actually have not. I have fished Normandy and Woods. Tim’s is on my list as a lake I want to go to soon.
