It depends on the weight of the damiki I am throwing. But, it's usually a medium heavy or a medium 7' fast action.

I actually have found that sometimes when it sinks too fast past them even at a deeper depth they won’t eat it. But normally when I’m goofing off less I’ll start with a lighter weight and get heavier depending on the mood of the fish.

@ yea i agree with that i just say this because it gets down there faster and the ration of getting it in front of there face with a heavier head that deep is much higher then a lighter head

@@drewbrown1374 I agree with that. I will say I think that the weight does not matter if they are directly in the bait. At that point its a matter of getting it to them as fast as possible.

Yes! They pretty much always go back down as long as you get them back as fast as possible. But, I do have a fizz kit I just strongly hate having to fizz those fish unless they need it because the survival rate is so much higher without being fizzed.

All my spinning rods are currently Shimano SLX. They are all around 7 feet ranging from medium to medium heavy.

I appreciate it that means a lot! I use Miravel spinning reels most the time. I have a Vanford and really like it. But, the Miravels are awesome and a lot cheaper.

Here and there I can ha. There is currently a lack of livescope videos out there where they actually show the footage constantly. I want to provide that footage so everyone who picks up livescope can catch fish. I get burned out fishing with livescope often.

Uhhhhhhh let me get back to you once I get a chance to look at my boat after this winter storm lol. I know gain was 70, TVG low, Noise reject low, and I cant remember color gain or the filter one.

I would say if you are wanting to get into it for cheap as possible I would go with the Lowrance Eagle or get the transducer for whatever your head unit is. But, for best livescope setup I would suggest a Garmin unit with an LVS34. A lot of people really like the GPSMAP1222 with the LVS34.

On my AT I had noise rejection off, contrast set to 86, range set to 100, and down range is the only thing I would adjust depending on the lake. It would go from 30-60. Those were the only things I would touch then the blue color palette.

I would agree that its better on suspended fish. Quite frankly they are all good on suspended fish. I just wanted to make the swap to Garmin and this way I can do a full comparison.

I currently use DJI Osmo Actions.

I still have some Lowrance units on the boat ha. I may bring it back in the future but for now Im going Livscope.
