- Live Aid was a multi-venue benefit concert and music-based fundraising initiative held on Saturday 13 July 1985. The original event was organised by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise further funds for relief of the 1983-1985 famine in Ethiopia, a movement that started with the release of the successful charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?" in December 1984. Billed as the "global jukebox", Live Aid was held simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London, attended by about 72,000 people, and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, attended by 89,484 people.
The chief did a better remaster than those amateurs over at QP.
when the world needed him most, he returned
C'amon. This looks great. It's a hell make a SD footage from this era looks immaculate in 4k. With all the limitations from the original camera/tape to the A.I. boundaries, this is almost a miracle and looks better than the official sh*t. Chief did it all for free, no compromise to anyone, no claiming as "definitive" or anything. Thank you to Chief
This performance of Radio Ga Ga makes me cry. Something about Freddie's eyes. Queen's "finest hour"👑👑👑👑. Thank you Chief.
Indeed His finest hour. Where Queens performance was the top of the bill that day. Radio GaGa tops everything. The whole band i must say.
Thank you CM
So crisp and lovely. Thanks again Chief!
The Return of the Queen!
Thank you- Thank you!!!!
Thank you very much. I watched the show that day, I was not there, and it's great to see it in such quality. Thank you
The master showman didn’t disappoint on this momentous day. We need more people and events like this, it pains me to say it but the world was a whole lot more compassionate forty years ago.
Chief Mouse, beautiful beautiful work. Thank you very much for your dedication. Greetings from Argentina
This is the first time I've seen the whole thing online, including the roadie "soundcheck" and both intros from Smith & Jones and John Hurt. Thanks.
Gorgeous remaster! Can never get enough of this iconic performance, and now seeing it in such incredible resolution is even more special!! Thank you for including The World We Live In, too! Such a beautiful and fitting song for the event. Awesome job, CM!
Incredible work as always! Thank you.
Welcome back, Chief! Thanks for another awesomely clear and vivid video of our boys ♥️
Why does this have so many dislikes? Great job Cheif
Hello. Don't know how much time's passed since I've seen your first results from working on these footages, but it must have been more than 5 years ago.
I just wanted to say thank you to share your incredible job and for your passion.
Your persistence it's truly admirable and special
just yesterday while seen Queen in montreal on D+ i remembered your work!, i miss you!!! it's great to see new update! cheers Chief mouse!
I think this is the best version of crazy little thing i've ever heard. Just incredible!
Thank you very much Paul, for sending me this Concert! It's the best version I've ever seen!!!
This made today, very happy and energetic. 👑🎶
Absolutely brilliant Chief thank you
fantastic job on remastering this - far superior compared to the official release!
Majestuoso..
great stuff as always
yes you upload it again
Obrigada! 👏👏👏🇧🇷
Eres el mejor CHIEF MOUSE gracias por darme 28 minutos de gloria
Is there anywhere where this can be downloaded? Never seen live aid footage looking this good. Is this maybe from new montreal 1981 4k blu ray disc? I ordered it
This is a restorantion Chief Mouse did some years ago, the new release still far inferior than this.
@@I_Munoz this is the old restoration he did + bad AI upscaling
@@I_Munoz either way the official release is not upscaled like his and yes, it _can_ be considered better for this reason alone
@@Vel_0000 the 2024 one still has it's flaws, the colour grading isn't ideal and it is still upscaled
@@DryPaintDealerUndr yeah, but not to _that_ extent of bad
FREDDIE EL MEJOR! MÁGICO!!! 👑 ❤❤❤❤❤❤ 🦋
Can u do fat bottomed girls official video?
i don't get the film grain on this obviously taped event. looks amazing nonetheless 🔥
Setlist please 😊
Are you serious?
@@fq-nula yes im serious
@@deathonbootlegs23 Okay. Just couldn't believe that someone with Freddie as a profile pic is asking for the Live Aid setlist... (I suggest Google).
Can you post a link for Live at the Bowl?
No copyright issues with this gig?
Interesting question.
i was there
and TBH it was boring a load of bands coming on doing there thing and going away then queen came on and me and mates said FFS queen have not had a decent record for years, we was about to leave when freddy was touched by God and started his performance and the whole world woke up
2:27 Why does it seem that everyone is nude? 🤣
