Ah yes, the good old push pressing my dream deadlift 1rm
We all know this feel
Crap
Why such a low dream
@@user-mg2dq4ty6c cus im weak asf right now
@@andreadenichilo3916 right now being the key word. You’ll be there in no time, buddy.
I'll be forever indebted to Dima. For me, videos of him lifting were the first introduction to what it means to be strong, humble and gentle. I strive to be like that in all aspects of life. 🌟
Pyros Dimas 😎
😎
Dude I missread the title as 225 lbs…
Very shocking how incredibly strong he is like wow
No kidding. Impressive! I was just feeling pretty good about DEADLIFTING 225....Pounds.
@@biknjak Well, you should !
@@yourfather8865 Well thanks! I'm turning 66 and hoping to pull 3 plates one of these days!
@@biknjak
You know what mate? I honestly find you more impressive than any young bloke lifting big numbers in the gym.
The pride and encouragement I get from seeing older folks keeping in great shape and setting pr's or lifting and running is all the motivation I'd ever need.
That indomitable spirit! I'm getting pumped just thinking about it!
@@swansong5960 Well thank, you Swansong. That's very flattering and humbling. I've worked out for about 50 years now, and I can tell you it has gone by FAST, proving to me that our lives are pretty short. I can say without a doubt, though, that my time with weights and my bike has helped me be stronger in every aspect of my life. It helped me through a 31 year career in law enforcement, survive a heart attack 10 years ago, a hip replacement 2 years ago, and will hopefully help me recover from my other hip replacement which I probably need next year. It has been frustrating of late trying to accept the slow loss of strength that is inevitable with aging, as in my mind I truly still feel like I'm 25, and consequently expect more than I can deliver at times! That 3 plate deadlift truly is a goal that I'm determined to see. Anyway, sorry about the ranting. All I can say is keep moving - I firmly believe that fitness adds time and quality to your life!
Took me way too long to realize strength central is run by lifting vault guy
I knew that already
@@justinwilson3922 but did anyone ask you? What is wrong with people lol
@@herbderb4929 Give the man a medal!
It's actually the other way around, strength central came first.
Bruh😂
This is insane. And also it’s good to hear that music back on strength central
Insanely impressive lift. Made it look like a *_joke._* 🤘🏻
Eh, he spent 30 seconds looking at it
@@yellowcactustvz4929 he is intimidating the bar, he does this with every big lift
This really is one of the most impressive lifts of a time. This has got to be around 2x bodyweight that he just pressed overhead and he did it raw with fantastic range of motion. You won't even see this from top strongman athletes and they specialize in push press
he competed in 105kg so it's above 2x
@@magicjohnsins he was notoriously heavy in offseason, 110-115+ so probably not over 2x bw
@haneefm7020 i made it up
@@vintagelifts based
@@vintagelifts understandable have a nice day
Heyyyy this was my comment! Thanks strength central/lifting vault guy! Weightlifting desperately needs more exposure its so underrated
That bugez sound bite is great, I loved it hahah
I'm scouring the comments to see who from the Bugez Crew is here and heard that! Stick Del Hagen army checking in!
What a monster. That's strength.
Incredible 🙏
Wow! Awesome. The heaviest push press off stands i know of was 545 by Paul Anderson at Muscle Beach.
Imagine doing that on a beach ! Everything would be so much heavier (if the weights were actually real) 😅
@@anti_hero_660 : very funny! Oh those weights were real. Early 60s photo with crowd in background. I could count the plates. 545 for real.
I connect that intro sound instantly with Simon Whistler
This guy: I can overhead press 225
Some dude: Oh cool
Him: KG
Dude: Wtf!
225lb is amazing too
@@zetinho02 Oh yh don't get me wrong 100kg is sick as well, but it's more common than 225kg!
That looked soooo easy and smooth what in the hell
When I pull 500 for some reps in a commercial gym and ppl look at me I feel strong… maybe just for a minute or 2. Then I go on the internet and realize I’m the littlest big fish in the smallest of ponds
I thought i was strong being able to clean 330 lmao
Klokov is a monster.
This background music is legend
I will probably die without understanding how the heck they pull this stunt so easily..
Beast!
Sticky Rick there in the end 👌
Monster!
thats just the definition of the meme "nice squat dumpass waaaasaaaat
That’s insane
We need to see him in strongman now!
From what video did you get the sound that you play at the end of these videos? Eric Bugenhagen from 4 years ago or smth I'm guessing
Looks like he is close to strict pressing that
Whoa!
I was expecting more push and struggle. 😂 To easy
Mad lad
Superhuman.
Поздрав из Србије .
And the people in the background didn't even flinch
when i see dmitrij im never sure if he will weight squat or push
Whats even more insane is that it looked like he had another 25 kg in him.
What is the difference between Lifting Vault and Strength Central?
That's insane! I can barely deadlift that weight
Deadlofting it is impressive alone
Klokov is just, pure insanity. He’s stronger than top strongmen and about half the weight/shredded
you should post some crazy mish koklyaev vids. i know he has a one arm snatch with 245lbs somewhere behind the neck push press 270kg, no hands squat. etc
That is my fckng orm squat.
A God
Ol bowed legs
It's just the tunes bebegim ya
I don't think the people behind him realized what they had just witnessed
Most people couldn’t even walk this weight out on their back, let alone in a front rack.
Why 2 channels? I.e. this one and Lifting Vault
What are you saying at the last seconds of each video? I have been trying to figure this out for nearly 5 years😅
It’s a clip from Eric Bugenhagen, it was an older video colab with Juji, I’ll try to find the exact video in a minute. He says “A lot of times it’s just the tunes you play, it very well could just be the TUNES baby.”
The source video title is “Eric Bugenhagen Drinks More Coffee Than You” and the time stamp is 39:10
its 205 kgs.. 225kg would be out of this world with that kind of ease
At rpe 7
squat pr? no push press
What’s the difference between a push press and OHP?
in a strict OHP the legs stay locked wile in the push press you can use leg drive
Leg drive. Knee flex then an extension to initiate the press.
Lots of differences lol
Push press uses your legs to get some momentum on the bar, OHP doesn't so its all the upper body doing the work
Push press uses legs to get the bar up and arms to lock it out. OHP is arms alone from start to finish.
I can’t even do half of this
Like it was air
I'd probably pass out in a couple seconds unracking that kind of weight.
The guy could've cleaned it too if he wanted to
Easily, his best clean (and jerk) i have found on video is 242kg ua-cam.com/video/arOprjvIiNM/v-deo.html
He was so unbelievably impressive
FML...
🙏🕉🌸
He would be a great armwrestler for sure. His tendons, joints are too strong.
You sound exactly like lifting vault
Who is he?
That's on par with pro strongmen where 325lbs is a small competitor.
I’m confused, is this just a clip from Lifting Vault’s channel or what 😂
yeah this video is more than ten yrs old
Top 5 favorite lifts of all time.
Did I really see that? Even those competing in WSM weighing in at 400lb+ would struggle to do that
He should go for the world record axle press just needs to pick up from the ground next time
@@truey90s as he’s an Olympic lifter, he should be able to do that without too much difficulty.
Klokov’s overhead strength was insane. His best strict press was 180 kg and his best jerk from the rack was 262 kgs.
Urm... world's strongest man calling???
Body weight?
Most people can't squat that
Most people can’t squat 225 LBS
@@ambiguousambassador exactly. We live in echo chambers online so it seems like there's way more strong folks around when in reality, i'd say 99% of the population couldn't squat 225.
Sooo either this guy's using lifting vaults voice over clips, or both channels are voiced by the same guy. Not sure which is which but either way it's weird.
Holy shit that’s impressive
The legendary DMITRY KLOKOV. Is this recent?
10 years old. Classic
@@DHRtheTHIRD I kind of thought so. Totally worth the post still though 🙏
Fact is simply - ,,You are not Klokov”
I expected a jerk catch
He also has a 160 kg strict clean and press. Pretty awesome dude, lotta drugs but awesome anyways.
That's... impossible
Just curious, are you paying royalties to the guy who actually filmed, edited and published this video, years ago?
225? That's definitely strong but not too crazy, I thought. Then I realized it was 225, not 225.
Bro the music is back
Just Klokov...
is he really doing this nowadays? End 2022, really? He is like 74 years old now. Ok, 39.. but he retired oficially already in 2015
No this was yearsssss ago
Old ass clip
Math Rhodes sport?
Larry Wheels did 550 and Biby did over 600.
Idk how biby is but id say Larry is quite a bit bigger and heavier than klokov
When did Biby do over 600? He pressed 573 in his home gym and log pressed 229kg in comp but I’ve never heard of an over 600lb overhead
And also Larry wheels 550 was on an incline dumbbell press unless I’m missing something
Biby did 573 at his home gym with all kinds of support gear on (just saying) and Larry I have seen do a 495 behind the neck push press/push jerk
@@TheBoredGamer01 Yes with his back arch it was an incline bench press
Absolutely disrespectful to the weights.
He used his legs so not impressive at all I would say!
It's a PUSH press, therefore he used his legs.
@@roderickreilly9666 It's not!
It would be maybe 450 then. Still impressive
no shit, its a push press
@@mpforeverunlimited : yes, military or Olympic press, that's a good estimate. Compared to best super heavy lifts of either strict press off rack or Olympic presses of 500lbs, that's phenomenal.
