Medicine began really in 1944 when they had mass production of antibiotics. Until then all a doctor could do was observe and report. In reality today if antibiotics don't work (or aren't given for long enough) doctors usually go back to observe and report. Nothing here impressed me here. All this crap will just increase the cost of healthcare. The only real progress in medicine will be regenerative medicine - if body parts can be repaired. Long way off. All progress in the last few decades has seen technology increase the cost of healthcare without much benefit. Treatments abound, but cures, where are they in today's world?
As exciting as these medical advacments are, what about nanorobotics taking care of human blood, heart, liver and radically extending human life to be forever? When, where and how much will this procedure cost?
Yes, Doctor. We are quite sure that in the next few days, even these technologies will be replaced by some other new innovative healthcare technological devices.
Nano Technology needs to be used to remove stuck microscopic asbestos fibers from the inner human body this would prevent asbestos related cancers. Yes,their's lots of asbestos around !. Asbestos fibers are dead solid and stationary objects thus easy for nano machines to reach to and remove from the inner human body. Research is much much needed in this very important area now not later !.
my mother died because her doctor thought she has gastritis when in fact she had liver cancer with aggressive metastasise so I do not care about medical innovation and med tech when it is not able to cascade down to real lives - spare me with the 'vision'
- Doctor, can you cure my cancer?
- No! But you can put on these VR glasses and go ANYWHERE!!! A few more pills and it is like you're really there!!!
Entiendo lo que quiere decir. How is YOUR CANCER doing?
Great Video !!! Love how technology is merging with healthcare... Now only missing how to make it affordable and commonplace.
Well informative.
Thanks from Turkey
But... the vein finder isn’t augmented reality... it’s just like infrared light and has been around for years now.

Question for medical futurist. What do you think when will electroceuticals be commonplace?
When there is enough scientific evidence behind using them in medicine.
What are the top technologies that you see for Orthopedics?
Some of these might be relevant medicalfuturist.com/future-of-sports-medicine/
This is epic 😻
Love your channel.
Thank you for that!

Simply excellent. "Science is the first emanation from God toward man." ~ Baha'i Faith
Great video. Unfortunately, these types of technologies won’t be available for many decades.
Thank you, but many are available already!
not about if its available but who will be able to afford the technologies in question

Now that is a transition!
Thanks for this informative video. I want to watch again with English subtitles.
I added subtitles to my new videos.

Hey 👋, please 🙏 dear will mind if we can chat up outside here?
How Asked?
I have one question please, what about the Internet of Things?
It's more of a concept than a concrete technology. I'll publish an article about IoT in healthcare in about 2 weeks on medicalfuturist.com.
Well done!
Thank you!
Yes, Doctor. We are quite sure that in the next few days, even these technologies will be replaced by some other new innovative healthcare technological devices.
Tnx
