I'm just wondering if they'd suit a disabled rider. Have been an above knee amputee since 2000 and worked in the H/J discipline for 12 years prior. I miss horses and riding and want to get back into it ASAP...I'd love to get a Canadian mare and cross it with a Perch, Clydesdale or Shire...:) all which have fabulous temperments as well. Any thoughts?
SimtasticGrl they are not Canadian sport horses. They are on the light side of the draft horse. I have a little description about them under my video. I hope you get back into riding because I think it would help you out a lot
They've messed up quarter horses. They all go back to about 5 studs. Keep breeding them smaller because of the cutting horse stallions. No bone. Too specialized. The halter horses have tiny feet and huge body. Look like a cartoon. Appaloosas don't require the breed characteristics to be registered. Don't even have spots. People nowadays don't have any business trying to change the breeds. They just want pretty heads, long manes and tails.
My husband and I have two Canadian mares. One is a riding horse and we use them together as a team. They are a perfect size mini workhorse. Love them.
looks like a real good horse, great all around, like the AQH 👍 looks like good temperament too!

thin of the canadian as a mini draft, with nerves of stone.
That chubby horse at the beginning was slowing down
cool video and beautiful Canadian horses. Like and sub'd you bro!
Are they also classed as Canadian Sport Horses?
No. The Canadian is a breed that is totally separate and apart from the Sport Horse.
