Fact 25 should say that horses can sleep either standing OR lying down. Some horses definitely do sleep lying down.
While the 1st horse was cloned in 2003, several hundred horses have been cloned since then.

They can only reach rem sleep lying down. They only doze off when standing because their hips lock into place
