If you go back to Follies At The Coven Day Parade, Raine whistles before drinking the tea. It's subtle enough that I've never seen someone notice it on first watch, but obvious enough that you can't miss it on rewatch.
Those brief glimpses of the three of them hanging out happily together on the steps makes me absolutely desperate to know the backstory details there. Was there some romantic unpleasantness that broke apart that friendship? Or was it a matter of political differences? Just a matter of professional rivalry (seems far too dull to be all there was to it!)? Was Hunter's predecessor involved at all, or did he only come along later in Darius's life? I NEED TO KNOW ALL THE DIRT!

I checked back to Something Ventured, Someone Framed and was much much less that is is here I guess Bump removed that unreasonable and insane faust would have added to her would have added to her journal even Eda makes a comment on how she expects there would have been more
Since ep 10 of this season (when the part one of the season 2 actually finish) the show was canceled ao they run with the opening and with a lot of other information, thats why season 3 only have 3 ep
God, the game Terra has them play will always make me sad. Eda and Raine were forced to act out the roles of coven witch and wild witch, but they refuse to and end the game. But in the real world, it's not so easy. They can't just escape the system they're stuck in, and they're forced to be on opposite sides. The way the game they play here as kids echoes how their lives are eventually going to end up is so depressing.
Hurrah good news everyone - it turns out I was wrong, the Danish translation did not misgender Raine! But this is a really fun episode that serves great to expand the relationship between Eda and them. They are just as cute as little kids. It’s so sad to think about it’s only a few months before Lillth curses Eda - to see Principal Bump and Eda have a somewhat decent relationship is really nice. Faust is generally just horrifying - is it just me, or does anyone else find it weird that a deal with the Devil exists as an expression in the Demon World or was said in a Disney cartoon? I really like how Terra is in this episode, you can see how she became who she is now, by how she was more openly cruel. Now we know Raine hasn't been brainwashed all this time, and is going to take action. It’s going to be awesome to see. Next episode is very traumatic and you are going to find out just how much of a tragic hero Belos is.
Fun reaction & episode. Like you, I really enjoyed seeing Eda & Raine's backstory. Things will now really start to heat up. Really looking forward to the next one.
