- When Stan Getz lived on Nordre Strandvej in Elsinore, Denmark!
My good friend Charlotte Dyrup, former owner of Jazzhus Montmartre, came to the jam session at Stan when he lived in a period of Nordre Strandvej in Elsinore!
She tells me excited about a night when Gerry Mulligan, who had played a concert in Copenhagen, showed up to join in the fun. Stan and Gerry swapped instruments and Stan purely musical "became" Gerry and Gerry "became" Stan. That evening there was not a dry eye in Nordre Standvej!!!
I live in England, UK. I recall buying this album appx 1959. Album was entitled : Getz meets Mulligan in HI-FI.

One of the great jazz albums; after 50 years i can't live without it
Even though I wasn’t alive in the 50s I can still really connect with this sound and the two of them playing together is truly magical
Les 2 soleils du jazz cool. Mulligan et Getz. J’écoute ce morceau depuis 40 ans et si je joue du saxo ténor c’est à cause de ce dialogue parfait. Gratitude éternelle.

It's ridiculous to post random silent films of these greats playing, superimposed on the recorded music. This is a good performance but a second rate video.

very bad synchronization.
Vidal Sbrighi The clip is apparently from two separate concerts. Getz plays ith his quartet in London 1967 and Mulligan plays Lird knows where. This is not fair and explains the non-existent synchronisation.
There's NO synchronization possible. These idiots superimposed films of totally different performances over the music.
