Poor Cashier Lady. Avid Joseph Anderson fan, watches every stream. Thinks she'll share her fun story about how she went skydiving with her favourite streamer only to hear him roast her on stream.
There are a few grocery moments that don't involve the lady... but this arc was so good that I wanted to keep it streamlined. More stories and supercuts coming soon! Let me know if you have a favorite story or NPC to cover.
I remember there being Moncton NPC stories deep in the later Q&A streams since they've moved. Especially the guy who got struck by lightning, love those streams.
Man I feel like being from a fairly small town where we all talk like this out at the grocer and such that we are indeed the rural NPC folk of the game.
Remember the time when he said he had another story, but said it was for another time, and then another time came and he said he didn’t have any other stories?
Joe: Confused when people he sees on a regular basis want to constantly make idle chit chat. Also Joe: Why is this woman not engaging with Small talk with me? That's so weird.
8:34 She wanted you to ask “what’s wrong”. Not talking is good. Based on the outcome of the grocery delivery guy, I think they’re all just high, unfortunately. Not grocery lady, but maybe her family or who she is caring for. This is every cashier and customer in my experience. People can’t sit in silence. NPC’s are nuts- I think I may live in a town with NPC’s too
the ending of this made me sad. this person works a depressing dayjob and Joe has so many opportunities to brighten her boring days but instead just judges her and uses the moments for content. shame.
Monkton is like the Truman show, and the entire population watches Joe stream and tell stories about them
Do you think grocery store lady goes home and tells her twitch chat about the guy who refused her skydiving quest
Replying just in case you don’t know your comment got likes
She doesn't exist
Joe’s Life is just proving that oblivion was an immersive sim
God, now I'm just imagining all the people in the story doing the "turns to you with dead fish eyes stare and starts talking"-thing
Todd you've done it again!
This seems very common in authors who think very critically about how to write purposeful dialogue that normal conversation seems 'wrong'.
Yep. I've actually had the thought while talking to someone: "How is this advancing the plot?" Lmao
@@PaddyRoon7 I have had the same thought but I’m not a writer.
It was coincidentally also at a grocery store
Occupational hazard - seeing everyday talking as bad writing.
Joe calling Monctonites NPCs while simultaneusly pretending to be a car in the BK drive-thru is the most unhinged shit I've ever seen.

I love how baffled he is over normal conversation fuhnyfvcd
Yeah skydiving connects with the heavy backpack thing, idk why he’s so weirded out by it

when a man doesnt understand hes being blatantly hit on by the cashier till the point SHE feels rejected
We all need to accept that Bethesda writes realistic dialogue
You're so real for digging through the LiS2 streams for that story
I played the game to the end and I couldn't even make it through Joe's streams of it
Man I feel like being from a fairly small town where we all talk like this out at the grocer and such that we are indeed the rural NPC folk of the game.
Damn, Act 3 was a real emotional gut punch
The random stories Joe has are the 2nd best part of the streams.
What do you think is 1st best?
whats the first then
The beginning of the streams
the 1st best part being of course the moments when a game is confusing and he's all like "awuu??? wu wuwuwuwuwuuwu?????"
@@fusionfountainThem ending

anderson anecdotes is great by the way. when i saw that in the title of this i got so excited to click on it and watch it. this is a great little idea
Can’t wait for grocery store lady to find this
that final anecdote, thats literally just germany. we dont talk. and the cashier is so fast you need two people to keep up
This is why I rotate the grocery stores I go to during the week😂
I love this kind of series, I feel like there's more to the lore and shenanigans that i might have missed
avarage canadian conversations
Oh god my socially anxious ass comes up with the WEIRDEST small talk when I’m put on the spot… I’m 110% one of these people. 🙈
The lady at the grocery store is trying to peg you, just fyi
Twitch chat calling others NPC‘s is extremely ironic.
gold. thanks for the video
How the hell do you talk so much in just the checkout? I tend to feel rushed since people are waiting in line.
canadian
Beautiful
As a grocery store worker let me tell you. Not unusual event at all
Joe assimilating another Moncton npc trait with the "I'm good" dialogue wheel
Joe: Confused when people he sees on a regular basis want to constantly make idle chit chat.
Also Joe: Why is this woman not engaging with Small talk with me? That's so weird.
so where does lily stream, i need more moncton lore

Bro's kids are gonna be hilarious
what is life
Invite her to stream with you
WHO IS THIS WOMAN!?
i don\t know what gasolines are/
It's petrol. Or, the fuel you put in a car.
Yummy water

shame.

These stories are fake af, but they're funny
