Aero Scout Re Maiden on Water

- This Re-Maiden took place at the Forest Port Revivor. John B. The Boonville Baron did the repair work replacing a bad elevator servo and fixing a broken tail boom. He did a excellent job on both and I greatly appreciate his work. Salute to my fellow Veteran. It is a very awesome place to fly indeed. The lack of wind made the water mirror reflections and it was so cool to get some of that on video. Main reason I used the Smartphone camera is because its quality is better than the runcam 2 or the insta 360. Take care my friend/

Hey the highly skilled repair person did a excellent job on this bird. I did have to do some major trimming. I will mechanically make some adjustments and re zero the radio. No big deal I think the side to side CG changed due to weight of glue more on one side than the other. Easy fix either way. I am thinking about upgrading all servos to MG Servos just because I love flying the Aero Scout and hey 7:30 per one 3s 2200 30c battery what's not to love? Thanks again for your work on it John B.

Tug great float flying, really enjoying the AeroScout S2 on floats. Went out yesterday morning from some float flying, the Park is going to kill the moss next week. Jeff in LA USA

You bet. Great day for flying for sure; That is only a few of my water birds. I got 14 I can fly off the water, But I only bring 3 or four each time I take the 25 minute ride to the lake. Glad you enjoyed watching.

Yep I brought out 4 water birds and made a event of flying 12 flights before a afternoon thunder storm popped up on my radar alert on my cell phone. Thanks for watching.

Great flight! I'm intrigued by the Aeroscout, might have to get one when they go on sale. Would be a great trainer for my little guy as well.
Alex the Aeroscout is a bit big compared to your UMX collection. It is a awesome bird to fly and is great off water or snow on floats. Thanks for watching and your insights.
@@tughillrc6327 I know, my first plane was a 1.5m Bix3 from Hobbyking and I have a few bigger planes. 1.1m is a great size for me, as it fits in my car with the wings on.
