I am definitely going to follow this example. I appreciate how you walked thru it. Too many of the prayer Bible videos are a lot of talk but not explanation of how and why. Perhaps I’m a bit simple but I needed ore instruction which is exactly what you’ve given me. Thank you so much. ❤️
What wisdom you added to a good video. I love your point about dependence on tabs. It is so true! It is so much better to tab the genre & not only learn the names of the books but how they fit into the divisions of the Bible. Great job!!!

Hello, this is my first time ever have your video come into my feed. I’m so very thankful it did and I saw it right now. God’s timing is great. Yesterday I and my son started making Bible tabs for his children’s ESV Bible. I just had him choose from craft paper I have. We measured, cut, used double sided sticky tape, and just need to label them after they are folded. After watching this video, and Before I start sticking them on for him, I now will have him pick out the Washi tape he would like, so he can learn of the different genres of sections of the books of the Bible. I will still tab it for him, even though I know visually it looks neater and easier to see the categories of genres without tabs, but he is only six years old and still learning. He usually uses the table of contents to find the book in the Bible he wants to read. What a great way to help teach him as he continues to learn where each book of the Bible is. I wish I was able to do this to my own Bible, but alas, I created tabs for them already. I guess I could cut the washitape to start and stop with each tab, but I think I’ll use this method in my Bible that I have for studying and art journaling/writing prayers in that isn’t tabbed instead. Thank you again, god bless you and your ministry channel.🙏🏻🥰

@@scarlettHischild Oh it blesses my 71 yr old ♥️ to hear this about you & your son. A tip I’d give you is to check on uTube for ‘the books of the Bible’ songs. There is one for the NT & one got the OT books. Also several versions, so find one he likes & he will sing the catchy tune all day long. I learned the NT song as a child & it has stuck w/ me til now. Even tho I now know where each book is, as I turn the pages, that song still plays in my mind! I cannot help it. It is always refreshing the info. 😎 I only wish I’d had the OT song too as those books are harder to learn. (One version also mentions which are of Moses, history, minor prophets etc.) Sunce he has a heart ❤️ for God’s Word, he’ll love the songs. God bless you both!🤗
Thanks🙏🏼 for this great idea! I added Washi tape to my Easy to Read Bible. I did each book from Genesis to Revelation and it turned out beautifully! Great video!😎❤️💗💕😊😍
I have used this technique in my school notebook to separate different classes. I use one notebook for 4-5 different classes, so I can use all the notebook. This really helps and is pretty. I like this idea for my bible.
Thank you for going over each section at the end. I will washi only the first book in each section, then also add a blank page in front using washi. Thanks for sharing.
Oh i love this. I was considering just tabbing the first book of each section (meaning - law, history, prophet etc) but this is so much nicer!! Thank you!
Thank you for such an informative video. From the presentation of the Washi tape to learning the theological books of the Bible, I found this very useful info. I’m new to Bible journaling so this video covered quite a few topics for me. Starting my first Bible to journal in this month. All my other bibles would have a separate journal to write in as I was afraid to make a mistake in the Bible itself. Thanks for so many useful ideas!!!
Love this idea but my study Bibles are too 'used' and filled with notes, tabs, and Washi tapes for specific purposes. Wish I knew of this when one of those Bibles was new! I have used Washi tape on a few important pages like Ex 20 and Deut 5 for the Commandments. Like you, I run the tape down the full length of the page. I found that putting a piece of hard plastic (like a see-through ruler) behind the Bible page works very well when applying Washi tape. Your Bible looks gorgeous! Nice job!
May I make a suggestion? When you lay the tape on one side of the page, close your bible book where the stick side is hanging out. And push the tape up against the closed book so you can help the washi tape find the natural edge of the page. Continue to rub at the "fold" of the tape. Than re-open your book and use the now half folded washi tape and finish folding it. There is NOTHING wrong with your method, this is just an alternative. Beautiful Idea, I love it and can't wait to use it! Thank you for making the suggestion~❤
I really like this method differentiating the genre rather than books. And the thin width tape. Don’t care to Bible tabs overtime they tear the page. My nice bible are all thumb indexed.
Hmm, sometimes “simple” is the most effective approach. This is pleasing to my eye and appeals to a manageable level of organization. I’m not a fan of Bible tags. I’ve it!
Thank you for sharing✝️🙏🏽❤️✝️. I have been using washi tape for years but never used it like this. However, I really love that idea and I will definitely be using it✝️❤️🙏🏽❤️✝️
Hi there Judy! I love your concept of adding washi tape to the first page of each Bible book. I also wanted to code it by genre. However, my Bible books do not start on a fresh new page. They begin right under where the previous book ends. How would you suggest adding washi tape in this instance when the first page of the book is shared with the previous book? Also, there is no room in my Bible for notes, it is simply the LSB text and inside column references, no margin room or introductions to each book where I could add notes. I do have a color code for my underlining in this Bible. Beyond that, I feel stuck. My brain is not as creative as yours and looking to make this Bible work for me. Also, I do not have a full computer or printer - so printing out nice neat context pages or notes or charts are not available to me - both my computer and printer died on me about two years ago. Don't want to go into debt for another - so just using this little tablet to function. Any suggestions would be great! I am about to make an order of washi tape and those pretty scrap book papers that I see you use. But I don't want to finalize that order until I see what you suggest. Thank you!
@@sandralewis1829 hi! Thank you so much for watching and glad the video was helpful to you! Regarding adding Washi tape, I would simply add it to the page on the right hand side that the new book starts at. So that when you open the Bible using the Washi tape for that specific book, it will open up to the beginning of that book even if it starts on the left side. I hope that makes sense! Also, regarding adding room for notes, I literally just recorded a video today on how I add paper to my Bible for extra note space! I love how God works!! I’m hoping to get this video up soon.
