With the edges washi taped you can now add tabs if you want, for the washi tape has strengthened the paper and it should not rip. I've done it.

I recently added washi and tabs to my Bible. My Bible is burgundy, so I picked 4 different burgundy patterns and alternated them throughout my Bible. I added floral tabs and it turned out great.

Ye is always plural, thee is singular. It gets easier the more you read it!🙏🏽

I did my Washi tape with law one color, history another color, poetry, etc. only the first page of each book.

I put my Bible tabs across the top instead of the side to decrease the chance of tearing. I've also washi taped the book pages and it is so beautiful

What a neat idea! I just recently got into Bible journaling. I don't have a Bible journal yet but I add tip in pages and layer them and such as my notes when I'm studying. I will sometimes glue a page of notes in-between the pages and that has worked nicely too. I got that too from Faith Womack on How to Faith a Life. I just do it as I go but I love having my notes in my Bible instead of a notebook that sits on a shelf. I really need to get a journaling Bible.

I find that I use my wide margin Bible more than the journaling one, that might be a less expensive option too!

I recently started doing this with with my Bible. I love it!! I separated mine by literary genres, like the Torah or Penteuch are one color. The gospels and Acts are one color. The Historical books are another color, etc. I still haven't done tip-ins. I'm not sure how I feel about adding extra pages and things to my Bible. If I do, I may add it to the back.

I don’t want to add to my main Bible either. I purchased additional bibles to be creative in, based on the Prayer themes I choose for each one. That way I have the pretty & creative bibles as my specific themed prayer gardens, and my main Bible is used separately. Maybe that will help? Blessings ❤

Not when I use colored pencils or crayons, sometimes with mildliner highlighters I’ll get shading on the other side of the page

Washi tape sticks to itself over time. So best not to collect and store and forget to use.
