Thank you for this! I am going to have to get some of the Mr. Pen Multiliners before I start in any of my new journaling bibles. I have a set of the vintage Mr. Pen highlighters and so glad I did.
I have found that Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils are the best for highlighting, and underling in the Bible, due their inability to bleed through to the other side of the thin paper used in Bibles. If you accidentally highlight the wrong passage, it is very easy to remove using a While Hi-Polymer Eraser. Your pages are not stained and/or ruined. Just so you know the Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils do come in 50 count. When writing notes in my Bible I always use a graphite pencil, so that it does not detract from the Scripture verses. Yes it could fade in time, but then you can restudy that portion and either rewrite your notes or erase the light graphite and put in new notations. The other item that I will be using are the transparent highlight sticky note strips that are either a solid color (you can still see the passage underneath) or ones that are clear with a solid line to place under the text. I personally would never use a liquid highlighter or a pen in my Bible.
You washi tape video popped up in my feed. That was interesting, but what was really interesting is the idea of a journaling Bible. I didn’t know they existed, or I forgot. I use blue letter Bible on my iPad, but I don’t take notes in there because they could get lost. I ordered a journaling Bible and received it yesterday, and came back to your channel to see what kind of highlighters I should order! Timely video for me!
Awesome! You are going to love your journaling Bible, it’s a great way to interact with the scripture and dig in! I’m glad these videos were helpful! Thanks for watching!💛
This video was such. a delight to watch and quite helpful to! Thank you for sharing! I will be doing a test page for the frixion pens/highlighters I have. God bless sis!
Hi, I love your video content it has inspired me to start reading my bible. I am new to bible journaling, and I would like to ask what books of the Bible I can start reading first. Is there a particular way to start?
Hi! I’m so blessed to hear you are inspired to read the Bible! My recommendations would be a few different ones… Genesis and Exodus will lay a good foundation of the Bible and answers a lot of “Why” questions. The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke or John) will give you and understanding of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. The book of Acts explains how the Church got started. I would also recommend Ephesians or Colossians these will give you the basics related to the Christian life. I hope this list helps! Be sure to pray before during and throughout your reading asking God to guide you and give you understanding and to draw near to Him as you read His Word. God’s Word is so powerful and as you continue reading God will begin to give you revelation and understanding and you will begin to grow closer to the Lord because His Word is living and active!
I loved this video as I have quite a fetish for pens and highlighters - have been this way since a teenager. I have some of your recommended pens and highlighters. Great idea to do a test in the back of my Bible.
@@mymalayaper3766 unfortunately, I don’t have any recommendations for Gray, I’ve actually never sought one out. I hope you can find some thing you are looking for!
