Minturn to Leadville, Colorado on US 24, 4k drive in the Fall Colors

This drive begins on Interstate 70 in Colorado, and turns south on US 24. After passing through the town of Minturn, we continue on US 24 to Leadville, Colorado.
I made this trip in late September 2021, during the peak of fall colors in Colorado.

My Hometown until 1962, born in Gilman in 1947, went to grade school in Minturn and High School in Redcliff. Was there in 2017 and the beauty of these mountains are still breathtaking. Home Sweet Home❤️❤️❤️

I was just there... came home back to FL via US24 / 289S all the way down through Taos/Santa Fe to I-40... It sucked having to leave.

The other road that goes north out of Leadville is a pretty drive to. Highway 91 I think. Also, on 24 there's Camp Hale and the ponds there are a good place to fish

Thanks for sharing this video. What date did you travel this (not post it)? I'm planning a 2022 trip and timing is everything with Fall colors.
