I just hope this movie will be good. Daft punk was the maestro in Legacy, the original Tron was pretty good for its time. But Ares seems kinda off. I hope I'm wrong tho. It's too bad they dont hire Joseph Kosinski again
We don't know if Sam is even in this film and we were never shown that Sam programmed games. Case in point, in the SPACE PARANOIDS ONLINE ARG, we are shown that Alan and Lora are launching the game on a livestream, and Sam crashes the event by landing with a parachute just like when he base jumped off of ENCOM Tower. Methinks Alan and Roy "Popcorn Guy" Kleinberg (RAM's User) are the ones who created this new Space Paranoids along with Ed Dillinger, Jr. and according to the banner this is the 7th version of the game.
@@cjsvoiceworks6008 Sam has been shown to be a hacker and you very obviously can't own a computer company without having intellect on how to make computers so some part of me thinks he did design the new Space Paranoids

Since they're being extremely being vague about the return of the Legacy cast, you're probably right. But they're still acknowledging Legacy and The Next Day so it's possible that a few characters are coming back @@rinzlerthehunter539
I am calling it now: Dillinger Jr. took over the ENCOM server from the '82 film which was called The ENCOM 511. I am sure that server has upgraded and is probably called the ENCOM 1533 LOL!!!
And since Ares remotely looks like Rinzler and Clu 2.0's Black Guard, I would not be surprised if Ed Jr. snuck into Flynn's Arcade at night and stole the private server from TRON Legacy and linked it to the ENCOM Server. The Flynn Server was originally a closed system with no internet connection.
@@cjsvoiceworks6008 The Arq Grid in Identity looks virtually identical to the actual Grid so that sorta insinuates most grids (atleast from the late 80s) look alike. So Ed Dillinger Jr probably didn't and it's just another system
@@BrutusTheAnimatorHaven't played Tron Identity but I know it takes place (like Legacy) in Flynn's private isolated server as opposed to the ENCOM server from the '82 film. The creators of the game did a press event (which is on UA-cam) and said it takes place in Flynn's server, several hundred years/cycles after Legacy. I respectfully disagree with you based on words from Kosinski's own mouth back in 2010, but we will see what the film says when it comes out. Peace.
@@cjsvoiceworks6008In grid time, yeah it takes place thousands of years after Legacy, but in the real world it takes place in 2023 so 13 years after Legacy. The Grid itself in the game was made sometime before Flynn went missing so ye. Dillinger would've probably used a different and more modern system as well instead of an old system from an outdated computer
Wait are you saying that Tron: Legacy is Kevin Flynn’s Grid style is a city and then some miles away is another city of Tron: Ares, which is Dillinger Grid.
So I think you are wrong about the theory about the Legacy Recognizer. So Flynn created the original recognizer in Space Paranoids before he went into the computer. When we see the arcade in Legacy, we only see the original Tron machine - Flynn may have created a new Space Paranoids version and new recognizers before he got trapped in the system (i.e. if the new recognizers were there when Sam was there and Flynn was trapped, then if Flynn didn't create it prior to that, who did?). One interesting thing to find out is you have the original Space Paranoids, and you have 7 - what version was the one at the time of Legacy? Also in the beginning of Legacy, they are rolling out a new Operating System - does that mean that they don't make games any more? Also, after the original Tron came out, I had an idea for a sequel, where Ed Dillinger gets out of jail 30 years later, restores a backup of the MCP and commits corporate espionage.
I didnt realize it said 'Dillinger Enterprises' on Ares disc! Things are adding up now. Ares is from the 'Dillinger' grid (not the Encom grid), thts why his lights are red. The Dillinger grid is probably managed by Dillinger as the new MCP. He probably digitally uploaded his conscience into a new MCP program (was hinted at in Legacy mid-credit scene). His son probably runs the company from the outside. Ares has probably been lied to all his cycles, being told that Encom is the "enemy" etc. He initially enters our world (with his companions) with the mission of destroying Encom, but then discovers the truth and ends up changing sides.
Hmm this is interesting, the new design kinsld of sucks imo, it is too colorful, like it's all red, instead of being the circuitry but hey thats just me. I don't really have any theories just off of this picture however. Maybe that we will get to see older design appearances in the new movie/grid, like throughout the series maybe. But thats all I really have, end of line.

I'm not too keen on this whole Programs-have-entered-the-real-world thing.
It’ll be horrible, your speculations are correct. Nothing can compare to legacy
Oh Sam definitely revived Space Paranoids with the updated Legacy vehicle designs
I mean realistically it makes sense. Gaming companies are always tryna give franchises modernized styles in sequels

The suit and circuitry in Legacy looked seamless. Looks bulkier just from that picture here.
this sneak peek is so cool!! looks like the new recognizers are more chrome colored, like a terminator skynet type
The big recognizer is actually the repurposer from Tron uprising. So the movie might have some connection to the show
But how would Sam know about the events of uprising? Especially since they were literally on the opposite side of the grid
@@BrutusTheAnimator I think this movie will be a soft reboot, Sam might not be in this at all. At best a mention

Didn't Sam say he is taking back Encom at the end of Legacy? So maybe he did have some influence on the new looks.
TRON: Ares looks it will kind of serene and still high-speed in my viewpoint.
TRON: 내 관점에서는 Ares가 좀 고요하고 여전히 미래 지향적인 것 같아요.

Imo the recognizers in Tron Ares look more slick compared to the ones in Legacy

No, what I mean is that the grids are on separate physical hard drives (or servers). In TRON: Uprising there are other cities however like Argon City.
