- Boruto has been the laughing stock since it's creation. After taking time to read the manga, I kinda know why now, and this video is an attempt at showing you all why too.

I think one of the main reasons people hate burrito is because they made Naruto do the "dad not at home trope" which might seem fine on paper... Unit you think about it
1.naruto never had a Father figure when he was a kid so he'll want to be their for burrito
2. Naruto Can make thousands of clones of himself so theoretically he don't even have to be in his office unless it's important
It’s not even only that they basically shitted on all the Naruto characters making them look weak

Then it gets even worse when apparently Naruto just lets Sasuke be a near complete absentee father. I find it very hard to believe Sakura and Hinata didn't get those two to agree to mandated two week vacation each year.
I had a friend who hasn’t watch Naruto or boruto, I had him watch boruto first, after being done with Naruto. He couldn’t believe how much better Naruto was.

I get that he's trying his best to not lose the villagers trust and all the acknowledgement he had gained, but still he has no excuse to not be in his kids lives, he can literally use massive amounts of shadow clones, that alone is enough. He even used one to go meet Sasuke in a far off location but hanging out with his kid in the village is too much
Yh the reasoning is SOOO BAD. I HATE when they do this with the adult versions of characters. It even happened with Aang where it sounded like he basically neglected his TWO other children😒

Boruto re-treads the same paths as Naruto, while passing itself off as original. If they wanted to re-tell the story, they would’ve been better off rebooting it FMA-style and incorporating new ideas, rather than diluting the value of the franchise with a thinly veiled remix. Even Boruto’s name sounds like a knockoff (and more reminiscent of an item off the menu at Taco Bell than a ninja hero).
I tried watching Boruto, but gave up after 5 episodes. I was just not feeling it and got bored.
What I dont like about Boruto from least important to most important:
The character of Boruto
The villains
The animation of the anime
I just dont like the plot in general.

Sorry for the amount of stuff I am going to write, but I feel the need to explain myself.
First, the character of Boruto:
Its just different from Naruto, I simply dont like it, self explanatory.
The cast:
In Naruto we had this variety of different villains with different motivations and different good and bad abilities which were halfway understandable. From the guy who was one of the 7 swordsmen of the mist, over the Akatsuki to the Final boss Madara who died in the most pathetic way possible and turned into the real final boss. Then we have in Boruto the Otsutsuki and their vessels/followers, the Kara who basically just want to grow the god tree again. They have many different powers but they are so overpowered, so incomparable to the Narutoverse, that I dont think it fits into the same world.
This new generation of shinobi including Boruto, Kawaki, Sarada etc. in general is just too overpowered aswell for me. Considering that Boruto takes place in the World building of Naruto, those overpowered abilities in general and the fact that those op characters are only from the leaf village and there is basically no cast from any other village makes the whole point of the world building, so the 5 villages, useless.

While Naruto had those inner conflicts with Kurama and got rejected by society, Boruto had problems with his father, which is valid but not comparable to Naruto's crisis. The chunin exams in Boruto were fine, still cant fit into the big footsteps of Naruto, but fine. What I also really liked about Naruto were the different villages having people different abilities, which were unique to every village but now in Boruto I dont see much from the other villages at all[weak argument but I felt like including this].
If you find any mistakes or I am wrong with the plot or cast feel free to correct me I would appreciate it, since I havent seen off-canon and also didnt read the manga.
The biggest thing to me over all of that which you have said is true, is that I’m just kinda over this weird fighting aliens with giga immortal strength who don’t use hand signs or are anywhere close related to the ninja, and speaking of the the ninja element of the show just seems to have vanished. I liked it when it was more about village vs village vs akatsuki conflict. Now it’s just aliens vs Naruto and sasuke and it’s like that’s fine and all but all they had to do is make the series about those two before they had kids and it would of been a lot more enjoyable, or at least not make the kids the focal point.

Bruh the series just started. One stop comparing to Naruto because this is boruto’s story ofc it’s not going to be as good as Naruto (atleast for now) Naruto finished and ended and a lot of people still have nostalgia to it, give it time and let boruto completely finish and look at how many people change their opinion on it, if they give it a chance.

And boruto anime is better than naruto/ naruto shippuden due to some reasons
1. Incomplete storyline ( we got no information about the uzumaki clan, senju clan and otsutsuki members who kaguya feared )
2. Boruto has better fights
3. Naruto fillers aren't worth watching ( sora arc and guren arc is a bit good. Others are trash ) while boruto fillers are actually anime canon. ( mitsuki arc, hozuki castle arc, deepa arc pretty interesting )
4. Boruto manga canon arcs > naruto/ shippuden canon arcs in everyway
And no one can say boruto villains don't have motives since the story is still ongoing and the fact that boruto haters always compare boruto with shippuden not with OG naruto shows that boruto is actually better than naruto

Naruto ended with shippuden. Everything else is a fever dream.

i wouldv'e liked it more if there was a naruto clone hanging out with boruto and himawari daily but hinata knowing that its a clone, and then one day an emergency happens and then the naruto clone disappears, which makes boruto wonder if all that time was really his dad and then be upset with naruto. And Boruto would be wondering if the clone had any feelings at all or if it's just an empty husk, leading to boruto researching about shadow clones and hearing from someone (maybe Iruka - The principle). That would be a good 2nd or 3rd episode, or maybe even the rising conflict of the story

I read the manga. That's where my distaste for this series started. No, actually it started when it was announced, because I don't think such sequel is necessary in the first place and is merely a cash grab. "Naruto next generation" tagline really rubbed me the wrong way.
Because no one asked for this, if they wanted to continue the storyline fine but keep naruto as the mc like dbz , no one wants to see there favorite characters that they’ve been watching for years get nerfed.
Why I personally hate Boruto is THE fact this Spin Off is really all about BORUTO, every character who is Not BORUTO feels Like a Side character for nonense, the fact that Side characters who are there for only one Episode to show how cool Boruto is make me hating boruto self even more (the fact that even SASUKE HAS MORE SCREEN TIME WITH BORUTO AS WITH HIS OWN DAUGHTER MAKE ME SICK)

The thing i hate is that the next gen thinks that the old gen(naruto's gen) is weak.Example boruto thinks he can just storm into the hokages office and beat naruto.or Sarada thinks sasuke will lose to shin.
I can kinda understand their reasoning. Their fathers haven't been involved in their lives enough for them to believe they can defeat these people like everyone thinks they can.

I honestly don’t dislike boruto as a character because people complaining that boruto isn’t like Naruto is a dumb point. If boruto was like Naruto, I believe the hate would have been worse. I dislike the series for several reasons such as the villains not being that intriguing at all, the side characters being tossed to the side constantly(you barely see the new gen characters doing anything, as well as most of the old gen characters)the fights aren’t that visually appealing (this applies more to the manga as the paneling isn’t very creative at all, not to mention there wasn’t a single double spread in 80 chapters.) , characters not using more Justus in their arsenal (I’m not asking Naruto to blow up continents with bijuu bombs, but I wanna see more creative fights using ninjutsu), also the anime was handled poorly(the anime of Naruto shippuden ended in 2017 and boruto is adapted the same year. My problem with this is that the boruto manga didn’t even have enough content to make 10 episodes during this time. Making it weekly made that issue even worse, which led to the large amount of filler.), lastly I’d just like to say some of these robots or otsutsuki came out of nowhere😭😭

Did you not consider that they hate it for a reason? People like me hate it because I CARE about how the universe of Naruto is treated. People can like Boruto all they want, but they should be mature when interacting with those who disagree with them.
It's not the fact that his story is over that bothers us, but rather how it's handled. We wouldn't be bothered so much if it was written well.
That said, I dislike the filler in Naruto. That was very annoying when Shippuden was still on-going. >.>;

I didn't finish boruto and initially hesitated to start it purely because "naruto is said to suffer a fate worse than death" & "leaf gets destroyed" & "kurama dies" & "sasuke gets a huge optical nerf" & naruto's ruined haircut. It's less ninjutsu and more techy "ninja" tools. I loved naruto for the art of shinobi, and not the over-tinkering of ninja tools and science. Kuni, shurikan, swords, ninjutsi, HANDSIGNS, tailed beasts, and a lot of other really cool NINJA stuff are basically absent in comparison to naruto. We get inter-galactic pale-skinned gods with these dumb horns that slowly infect humans to the point where they grow the dumb horns which automatically overpowers them with very little, to no training.
It's really hard to accept Boruto as a sequel when you remove everything that I loved most. It's like Naruto without naruto... and you're left with... well nothing like the latter. But that's just *my personal* take on the matter. I won't pick it up again unless Kurama returns to his former glory. I understand sasuke might've gotton de-nerfed, so hopefully that's at least taken care of...

I mean, tbf to the fans who can't comprehend the idea of Naruto being a "bad father" because he's no around for his family, it honestly makes no sense when you look at it from a certain point.
Tsunade was the hokage while the Leaf Village was dealing with a LOT more on their hands than what Naruto was currently dealing with at the time. During Tsunade's run as hokage, the Leaf Village was heavily weakened by Orochimaru's last attempt to destroying the village, Sasuke had just left the village, the Akatsuki were trying to capture Naruto, and the other villages ( At the time ) hadn't come together yet ( Except for both the Leaf and the Sand having an alliance ). And yet, despite all of that, Tsunade STILL had time to train Sakura into one of the most powerful Kunoichis of all time while also making her one of the best medical ninjas of all time.
Naruto's run as Hokage started in an era that was peaceful. An era with none of the Akatsuki actively being on the move, Orochimaru not actively trying to destroy the Leaf, and hell, not even Danzo was there to be a pain to Naruto. So, it makes sense WHY people find this annoying. Because, you'd obv think Naruto would have LESS to deal with, meaning that he could very much at the very least have enough energy to make 1 clone to spend time with his family.
That's just the way I see it tho, you're free to correct me if I missed anything

Naruto really connected with me deeply. I love the story, music and especially the characters. This is what Boruto fucks up. For the sake of time , let’s consider one character, Anko.. When she is introduced, she is presented as an elite ninja, a jonin. She is beautiful and powerful. A jonin requires quite the workout to keep the rank. So it makes NO sense why Anko is suddenly so fat in Boruto. Some would say she eats sweets but she clearly been eating sweets in Naruto without gaining weight. Other characters like Guy eat sweets too and no weight gain. Guy is actually in a wheelchair with no way to work out and isn’t fat. So you can see how this frazzles me just with this one character. I also don’t like the story told in Boruto. The villains also suck. So this is my opinion. When I feel the need to explore the world of Naruto better, I rather turn to fanfics. Some of those stories do a much better job with the characters.
1. Guy barely eats sweets. He works out every day for it to not matter on his weight.
2. Anko was a plot device character and you're d riding her when she wasn't even a relevant character in the first place. She's "pretty and strong" is the most shallow way to get invested in this nothing burger character.
Plus it's not Boruto fault in the DAMN FIRST PLACE. IT WAS KISHIMOTO THAT DID MADE HER FAT BECAUSE SHE CANT STOP EATING JUNK FOOD LIKE READ THE DAMN MANGA. READ CHAPTER 700

Most people dont want to see their favorite characters left to do nothing. Most people dont liek their favorite characters being made worse just to make new characters seem cool. Most people didnt like the Otsutsuki. Boruto went all in on the concept. I feel it gave plenty if the fans enough reason to not give it much of a chance.
I watch something about 200 episodes and I can say: I'm exhausted.

I'm skipping All the filler. And only watching the anime and Manga Cannon stuff. And I'm 60 episodes in and it's pretty good I'm invested in what's going on and why imaging on how they gonna get to where they know what's going on.
Some of the boruto filler is pretty good. The condensed rasengan is a cool concept. Having to find a way to boost his power because he has no way to do the massive rasengans like his dad due to his dad having the tailed beast cheatmode chakra. Plus not to mention the character development. Mitsuki gets a whole ass arc about artifical humans and what it means to have a soul type stuff. (Yeah kinda cliche but still done pretty well)
I hate Boruto because its a clear cash grab on the Naruto name. Therefore it must be compared with Naruto since it insists on riding on the back of Naruto. It also emphasizes on the worst aspect of Naruto story, the Otsutsuki moon aliens.
The characters are an inferior carbon copy of their parents. The villains suck and its setting sucks. It tries to emphasize technology but they dont even use tech right.
People don’t like Boruto because the series Ruined the characters that had appeared in the Naruto series.
Reminder that the 200IQ genius advisor to the Hokage didn't bother advising his boss to dedicate a fraction of his Shadow Clones towards sleeping, leading to his boss dropping a fucking birthday cake after falling asleep due to sleep deprivation
the thing that rubs me the wrong way is they is just copy things straight out of Naruto and put it in Boruto, Boruto spends the first arc making a mess of the village(so did Naruto in his first arc) kawaki leaves the village(so did sauske in naruto) and guess who chases after him…Boruto( just like naruto did with sauske) and im sure im missing some but those are the ones i noticed when i started Boruto.
But it's actually boruto who leave the village instead of kawaki.
You can hate something based on its premise even without watching it. I hate movie 43, I never watched it but all the things people say about it make me 100% sure I would not like it. Same with Boruto
I dislike Boruto a ton for a myriad of reasons--undermining past characters in a poorly written manner, bad character designs (IMO, at least. Some are much too edgy for my liking and try too hard), overpowered villains who aren't interesting, How Kurama's death was written (I'd be more accepting of it if it were handled better), and etc. Legit one of the few moments I unironically like is Kurama's banter with Shukaku where he's roasting the tanuki.
However, what I find more annoying are the Boruto fanboys. Blind to logic in it's entirety. They can't accept that their show ain't perfect, let alone understand that people can dislike it for very valid reasons. They can like it if they want, but clearly, the concept of a different opinion is too much for them. I've even encountered gatekeepers who say if you dislike Boruto, you're not a true Naruto fan. Uhm, excuse me? I dislike it because I AM a fan of Naruto and that I care about what is done with the universe I enjoy. lol
That's just human psychology...

Humans are very easy to manipulate anyway... that's why here in reality with wars and all these problems.
To be honest, I think the reason why you encounter people like that is because Boruto as a series got shatted a lot (in terms of internet "little ponds" of confirmation bias). Are there criticisms of the series like having great ideas but bad execution? Yes.
However there are some people that hate on Boruto so hard that they either dedicate their "job"/job to trashing the series (r/dankruto and Dygoknight comes to mind), treat it as "not canon" even if it is canon and has the backing of Kishimoto supervising (and now writing from what I heard). These guys don't give a crap about counter arguments, all they see is that if there is a Boruto, it is trash and should be burned to the ground. Like for example
Spoilers starts here: after Omnipotence happened, Sarada is stressed out and worried about Boruto being framed as the killer of her idol: Naruto. And everyone is now hunting him down.
Doesn't know what to do, she begged Sasuke to believe in her and help Boruto, while at the same time unlocks her Mangekyo Sharingan. Dygoknight as per usual trashes on this as the "worst awakening ever" but when if one knows how a Mangekyo Sharingan is awake, you know that it makes sense. Even Six (UA-camr) can pull up the actual pages to prove their point.
But is the awakening good? That depends, but what it is certain is that it is not going to be memorable, but it did get the job done to get the plot moving to have Sasuke stop to believe in her.

BORUTO WAS JUST AN ILLUSION in Amazon, yes an actual book arguing that the events of Boruto are an Infinite Tsukiyomi dream by Kaguya, and you can buy it for $USD 98 in paperback. 🙄
For me, Naruto is my first true anime (although Pokémon is my first "anime"/cartoon) and while it faded from my life back in 2012 I think, I came back into the Naruto/Boruto series probably in 2018 or 2019, and watched Shippuden (well parts of the War Arc more specifically) and went into Boruto (yeah, I have a VERY limited number of anime history backlog lol, most are from Pokémon, Naruto/Boruto, the others are DBZ, yugioh, and beyblade, but I called them cartoons during those times)
However I can understand why people dislike Boruto, the characters, villains, setting, etc pales in comparison to its previous entry on one of the most influential works of shonen. While yes, Boruto has shown growth over time, the problem as this video said: execution and timing is key.
However, because most people don't have the capacity to freely think for themselves (what I mean is that most internet users form their opinions through other people now, not through their own), the loudest people of the internet spread their dislike/hatred on the series (the memes or "thought germs") and like-minded people share those kinds of messages, it becomes really hard to try to have a genuine discussion on what to actually improve in the series, if at all, and any attempts to say that you like Boruto will get the some community members even other ones outside of the series mockery.
If there is a fair assessment of Boruto it should be something like this: some great ideas are here, but poor execution. And the series sadly does rehash some things but poorly (looking at you Great Sea Battle of Kirigakure Arc in Boruto, you represent the problems of the anime itself and maybe the series). It has potential, but again execution and timing is key. That is why a 6/10 is a fair assessment.
But the internet isn't like that, it is either it is the greatest thing of the world or it is a piece of shit, no in between. And with how much Boruto is getting trashed some fair but others way over exaggerated, you get fans of Boruto stating "peak fiction" (anitwt 🙄)

Naruto did have flaws. He was pigheaded and put Sasuke over literally everyone else. He was super selfish. He didn't need to be w bad dad on top of that
They skipped a whole gap of Naruto’s life. Straight into Boruto where we have to meet these kids we have no relationship with. That could have been avoided with then showing them having a family. And then growing.

The Manga kinda sucks....I never liked on how the Manga was. Like How Mitsuki blatantly tells Boruto & Sarada that He's a clone of Orochimaru.
While in the Anime, Mitsuki left the Village mysteriously and it costs suspicion around the village so Boruto and Sarada decide to follow Mitsuki to wherever he was going. And eventually discovers who Mitsuki really is & was, He was created to be some type of a clone of Orochimaru to have some type of purpose that He's trying to learn for himself.
The Fillers was actually NOT that bad. They focus on other characters and given more depth to said characters, eventually get to the "Canon Event" of the Manga. Soooooo.....Yeah.

Using cloning technology like he was. Boruto & Sarada first heard of that idea, they freaked out. Mitsuki was like "What? You didn't know? I'm a clone of the shinobi orochimaru. An Artificially Created Human"

I'm not gonna lie the very abrupt ending of shippuden will forever make me whine and complain about Boruto. The main characters didnt seem to be developed to a conclusion, and because I was so invested in the cast of characters from Naruto, the time-skip seems to always take my attention away from the plot as I am always wondering what the main characters did or were doing before Boruto. If they were to add filler flashbacks on the old characters before the time skip I would be able to sit down and shut the fuck up, but the 15 year time transition without context makes it feel like the main cast are only used as plot devices, and not as actual characters. Yet again, I know nothing and should probably keep my opinions to myself. I should also find a better way to cope rather than writing an essay in some videos comments. Naruto's role could've also been thought out a lot better than portrayed in the show.
i dont know if ppl agree. but i hated how Kaguya replaced Madara as the big bad.alot of ppl wanted to see naruto and sasuke beat the shit out of madara,but we got a stupid sealing jitsu instead.Naruto ended in a whimper rather than a bang!

Even hardcore Naruto fans agree that Kaguya was bad in how she was handled; It's a popular opinion, as Notactive said. They could've just killed Madara while he was weakened after the Infinite Tsukuyomi. He seemed invincible....until all of his power was exhausted. A war of endurance won by the heroes. That would've at least worked a bit better, in my opinion.

What I mean is the Boruto series does a lot of things unnecessarily for example.
1: Nerfing Naruto and Sasuke ie. Taking Kurama and the Rinnegan away, making them seem weak when they have so much more jutsu to fight Ootsutsuki with like why is Naruto fighting with one type of rasengan when he has every tailed beast chakra at his disposal why use the barion mode at all I know the Ootsutsuki can absorb chakra but why didn't he and kurama just do the fox form with the three heads and six arms like in his fight with Sasuke why didn't he call on the those three humongous toads like in the fight with pain where the hell was rasenshurriken. And speaking on Sasuke why was he getting stomped on when he could have used Susanoo so he could be on even playing field like why not use kirin like why did not Sasuke and Naruto not merge their forms together like Ultimate Ninja Storm it just seems all that training arc was a waste, all that revenge was a waste, all that war arc was a waste it's just tells me that Bonito can't stand on his own as a character without nerfing Naruto and Sasuke.
2: It's just a cardboard copy of Dragon ball I mean look at Borutos hair they gave him the trunks hairstyle
3. There is so much more wrong with it but I won't go to into depth but trust me it's alot.

1. They're not the main protagonists anymore, therefore they can't defeat the main vllains cause that's Boruto and Kawaki's job. While I do agree the writers don't write Naruto and Sasuke with justice, there's already answers for some your questions.
Jigen one shotted Naruto and Sasuke avatars with pure strength alone, what the heck is a three headed kurama gonna do. What the heck are toads gonna do against the Otustuski? Kirin would have gotten shrunked by Isshiki and it probably wouldn't work on any Otsustuki because they can teleport. Naruto and Sasuke merged together against Momoshiki. Merging together against Isshiki is stupid because the dude can shrink himself and move faster than you while you became a bigger target.

3. There's a couple of things wrong with it but I don't think it's a terrible show.
(Anime only) My main issue was the pacing. For example, we got one story arc for about 20 episodes, but then it gives us a filler arc of 15-20 episodes . How did they mess up the pacing that bad with Naruto all the filler was at the end if you wanted to watch it. If I'm wrong, I haven't watched it in years, and with shippuden, they were placed in parts of the story when nothing major was happening but with boruto after a big event in the story you get back to back filler that are both 10 episodes or longer like how
Well I don't hate or even dislike Boruto, I still keep up with the manga every month, I think it's decent objectively and personally I am attached to it. People really lack " look beyond what you see" these days

Not gonna lie, the current chapters and episodes got overhyped, I mean it's not surprising considering all those people who spammed about Boruto on Twitter and other social media.... I mean I watched every episode and also am up with the manga, but the plot is okay-ish, the recent chapters plot twist was decent, but who knows how long it will stay fresh for, though it's not as controversial as the Zetsu retcon.
Here is the real issue people today think people all authors make stories for them, their consumers trying to tell people what they should like or not and if stories should end or not or as they love to say who asked for this, like who asked for Superman lol the authors wanted to tell a story that they hoed people would like yes but they wanted to and did it.

I genuinely like boruto. I think people who dislike it strongly came to it with the expectations that it would be like Naruto or better. It’s simply is just a different anime just like now Boruto is not like his father. I like that the peaceful times gives these characters a chance to grow and struggle in a different way than the kids in Naruto did. Though I did stop watching after the 90 something episode and I did not read the manga aha.

I love Naruto. Die hard fan and extra content from one of my favorite series is always a plus. Boruto is so great. I love the show for its slice of life elements. You never see a shounen where kids can be kids. Instead, it’s always child almost gets killed by grown adult on multiple occasions. I love the manga for its fast pace and world building exposition. In between the chapters explains world politics, technology, etc. that the story can’t explain, because it would be useless information for the plot. There’s even explanations on the economy and public opinion on Naruto as hokage, which makes more sense with his need for approval from the public. I’m waiting for Konoha to have a Great Depression from rapid economic growth, because of Naruto’s financial decisions. My only criticism from the manga is the girls wearing heels and too revealing clothing at the age of 12. That’s weird. Kishimoto didn’t do that in the original series for neither Naruto nor Shippuden. I’m happy the anime has them dressing appropriately.
Because Kishimoto isnt drawing the Boruto manga which is why the fights look so terrible and the female characters...look like...whatever the hell that is

I don't hate Boruto but I think the Naruto show is definitely alot better. Naruto didn't really end at a good point for a next generation sequal. Maybe if it was about 2-3 generations later. Mind you, I haven't read either of the mangas since I don't like battle mangas.
Boruto's characters just feels flatter than in Naruto, the villains are just boring. The Akatsuki was alot more entertaining than Kara for example. The focus on tech in the main plot (at least up to episode 230+) just feels so boring. I'm watching the show with ninja magic because the ninja magic is entertaining and interesting, if I wanted cyborgs I'd watch a sci-fi show instead.
Boruto's battles also focuses alot less on interesting abilities of the characters, and feels more like dragon ball with the focus being on raw power and laser beams/balls. I know that stuff was in Naruto as well, but there was alot of other abilities in the mix as well. One of my biggest complaints about Naruto is that the MC basically just uses two things, clones and Rasengan, for almost the entire show. There's a few minor interesting abilities in Boruto, but most are just borrowed from Naruto, like Daedera's exploding clay. Outside of these few spread out instances it just boils down to who punches the hardest 😞
Natuto in Boruto is just Boruto's dad it's not that he is Naruto that make him special anymore it's because he is Boruto's dad if Boruto wasn't his son we wouldn't see him at all I understand it's supposed to be a story about Boruto but it's not it's a story about the generation after Naruto

Personally, I don't care what you watch, because I gave it a shot and thought it was just a drag, through most of it. I found kawaki to be the best thing in the show but it wasn't enough for me to care, especially when they dunk on anything cool they actually have. Code gets slapped up by boruto's biggest abomination, and the second biggest abomination turns this show into a damn romcom, when we should be under immense pressure. I actually don't even hate boruto himself, he's fine but it's falling into the things I don't like about naruto. Much like you, naruto doesn't hit me as well as the other 2 in the big 3, so this isn't coming from fanboyism at all, but rather just disappointment. I gave it a shot and didn't like it. I hope no one starts hitting me with the "You didn't watch aaaaalllll of it, so your opinion doesn't matter" but then if I do say "don't like it, don't watch it" those people are a headache.

The Boruto series also inspired anime studios like Sunrise to make their own “Boruto” by making “Yashahime” which is an anime sequel to “InuYasha” just to generate more profit. Boruto is a cash grab in every sense of the word.
