Forgot to mention that fast charging is a separate cost of $70+ as you have to buy a macbook charger to get it while that comes in the box with the Note 8. Also Samsung Pay, bluetooth 5.0 allowing the Note 8 to connect to multiple bluetooth speakers at once.

His review was based from "claims" from Apple on what the IPhone X can do on paper although I'd prefer a real life test, meanwhile showing video excerpts from the Apple Announcement event but no video excerpts from The Galaxy Note Unpacked event. Get nova launcher, open software developer options, and decrease animation times. You'll be amazed at how insanely fast the phone becomes. Well, it was always that fast samsung just wastes time with animations for some reason

I've been an iPhone guy for a long time and finally two months ago I switched to Galaxy S8+ and turn out that was the best decision ever. I don't hate iPhone but Samsung has the amazing phones. Stop the cycle and tries something different and come back to thanks me later Apple people.

With Apple if you want to use the "fast Charging" you will have to purchase the cable seperate which adds to the already expensive cost of the phone. Samsung puts it in the box for FREE! Apple is also still giving you those cheap crappy headphones that's worth about 20.00 . Samsung gives you for FREE AKG headphones in the box that are excellent. They are also noise cancellation earbuds. So as much as you want to say they are alike...NO! they are worlds apart. Apple is still stuck in 2014 . Everything they come out with they are constantly 2 steps behind Samsung. When Samsung come out with a new phone, they give you a NEW phone ...whereas Apple just gives you a few tweaks and charge you more money. For example..the Iphone 8 is nothing but the Iphone 7 with a glass back. It should have been called the Iphone 7 splus. WOW! Apple fan boys and girls need to really wake the "F" up and realize how they are being used!

The B Murdie As a Samsung person, the Face recognition is not safe and secure like the Face ID. But don't be mad, their iris scanner looks secure enough to me. It can't unlock your twin's phone but I'm not sure when it comes to your pictures. But I think iris scanner is better than Face ID.

Vembala Rashid Dual Sim and a Replaceable battery on the S8 variants and the Note 8 are nonexistent. Almost none of the flagships this year have dual sims or replaceable batteries at this point because there's almost no demand for it or the design of the phone doesn't allow for it.
Edit: If it helps the S8 plus has really good battery life and really quick charge times to compliment that. Sucks that we miss the convenience of just swapping out a battery for full juice in like 20 seconds but it's necessary for all the cool features we get in return.

Perhaps the reason the Iphone is faster on the speed test, is because it can dedicate it processing to never having to truly multitask? In order for an operating system to support this feature, there will always be processor cycles that are reserved for background tasks, and simultaneous operations. Seems to me that you can make your device faster if you set up the OS to not do those tasks...I mean..."you don't need" to multitask... I mean you if you agree with that...and not me. I love being able to watch a movie on Netflix and text my wife on both my S3 and Note 4...and surf the web on a Pop-out window...all at the same time.

I went from a Galaxy S7 to an iPhone X. It’s honestly a pretty cool phone to have. I love the note 8 and S8 too but the iPhone X is still just an amazing phone to have too. I just thought I’d lease one for a year and I have no regrets so far.
The iPhone X is certainly a very special device. Apple still has a "coolness" factor that no other company can quite match, I'll admit. Still prefer my Note 8 though.

Every single phone I’ve had before the iPhone X was a Galaxy, and after each year of owning one, it slowed down on me, or bugged out somehow and the battery life got worse. I was honestly just so tired of it happening, so I decided just to lease an iPhone for a year, and I don’t see why people hate on it so much. It’s such an amazing phone with great security and it’s fast and powerful. I love it.
MegaTechpc I started to get one until my friend convinced me just to at least try it out since I could return it if I didn’t like it. Turns out I love it. It’s almost completely lag free, and the camera quality is amazing on FaceTime and Snapchat. I still love and use Samsung products though. I have the Samsung Curve Smart TV and computer. Love them both

honestly i think that Samsung is just a better phone manufacturer than apple, i just find that iphones are just so damn overpriced , as somebody who used iphones from the 3gs to the 5 i can say that i just find Samsung as the better phone brand after getting my first Samsung phone (galaxy S3) a while back i can compare them fairly from the few android phones that i have used and the iphones i have also used i just don't see how people can pay such a stupidly high price for a new phone which is usually not better than the Samsung phone released at the same time. also iphones eventually cannot install apps or update apps while my Samsung S3 can still get any app and update all of them.
And no i'm not biased i just find that with my experience of both brands apples phones just started to not get much better after the 5 (the 6 the latest).

The iPhone X is a gorgeous phone, but it's not worth the price. If the phone had finger print sensing through the glass I'd agree with the $999 price tag, but it doesn't. It's just a same old OLED screen from Samsung that has been in the s8 and Note 8. You're basically paying a premium for them taking away the home button.
The iPhone 8 isn't a significant enough of an upgrade to go from the 7 to the 8. I still stand by my previous statement that people should wait til next year and see what each manufacturer can bring to the table.

I actually think there was more reason to go from iPhone 6s to iPhone 7 than iPhone 7 to iPhone 8. I also would like to wait and see the improvements to all of the new tech they've brought out with the iPhone X next Fall. I recently picked up the iPad Pro 10.5 and I'm more excited about iOS 11 for it than any other launch this year.

Samsung actually does have portrait mode on the front. Its called selective focus. And in tests its been shown to work better actually. Ive tested the iphoneX and note 8 together and its surprisingly true.

Note 8 wins this match without any effort. Bigger screen, higher resolution, faster, expandable storage, being able to listen to music, that phone looks so natural and sexy, there is a fucking sharp knife included with/in the device (S pen), .......
I think the back looks ugly other than than its a nice phone, for me the only difference that will impact my enjoyment of the product would be the screen brightness on s8, and the OS for the ihphone rest of the benchmarks are so simmilar, for me those 2 are the only 2 that matters.
